10 Things You Didn't Know

That's it. It's Sunday, I'm bored, it's time for a meme that I stole from [livejournal.com profile] xi_rpg.

RULES
1. Post with your character
2. Post ten things that you believe are true about your character that people might not know - nobody cares if you use headcanon, it's up to you.
3. Watch as others do the same; comment IC or OoC!
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

1. Has an innie, not an outie as far as belly buttons go, thank you.
2. When assembled and operational, the knifesaber she is building shall be the best weapon ever--and she shall favor it over her dual crysknives.
3. Arha is afraid that she will not live past her 41st birthday and that she must die no matter where she is. This thought gives her intensely vivid nightmares.
4. Despite her fears, Arha will still fight for the restoration of her Universe. She quietly hopes that she will be allowed to go with the Jed-Eye elsewhere, though, while still fulfilling her destiny at the end of Leto II's knife.
5. Once when she was very small, she wandered into the Proctor Superior's study without permission and stared at the woman for a full half hour. Beju Mante Mathan stared back and finally told Arha to sit and have tea with her. This was the moment Arha was chosen as a special project.
6. Out of all the training she received, Arha enjoys the art of movement the most. The reason she does so is because she had great difficulty with it in the beginning. It is the one reason Arha is as stubborn as she is when faced with something she a) does not understand or b) is new to her.
7. Arha will always light up in the presence of her Jed-Eye. It is impossible for her not to do so in some respect.
8. The first time Arha crawled into Obi-Wan's bed, she did so without thinking. She has not left since.
9. Arha sleeps like the dead, but once awake, she cannot fall back asleep no matter how hard she tries.
10. If one looks closely, Arha is beginning to prematurely gray.

That is a good way to die.

1. He had a single thing from his home - a rock named River of Light that was Force Sensitive - that he held onto until Obi-Wan's thirteenth birthday. It was then passed onto Anakin.

2. Always picked up 'lesser lifeforms' even as a Padawan which annoyed his Master Dooku to no end.

3. Qui-Gon's only had three Padawan's. His second one fell to greed and power, it took him 9 years for him to take Obi-Wan as his Padawan.

4. Even still it took Obi-Wan attempting to sacrifice his life for the greater good for Qui-Gon to accept that they had a bond that not even some pairs had at the start.

5. Fell in love with a Jedi named Tahl who he saved after she was blinded on a mission.

6. Shortly after they confessed their feelings Tahl was murdered and Qui-Gon nearly fell to the dark side. Only the whisper of her voice stopped him from killing in anger.

7. Speaks several languages of his galaxy fluidly and even taught Obi-Wan one of them so it's like their own secret language.

8. The Star Map room inside the Jedi temple was his favorite room in the entire place.

9. He often sparred with Mace Windu and surprisingly neither one of them could win against the other.

10. Xanatos - his Padawan who fell to the Dark Side - was like a son to him as he was the one who found him and watched over him until he was old enough to be taken as an apprentice. He vowed to never take another Padawan and it took - a training duel, an angry Hutt, a band of pirates, a busted ship, dangerous dragon creatures, a people suffering from the lack of bacta, his old apprentice who turned Sith, missing Obi-Wan with a bomb strapped to his neck, a mine ready to explode and blow the whole planet up and the sacrifice to make Qui-Gon accept his final Padawan.

One set for each! This is, like, entirely headcanon.

For Zelda -

1. Her mother died when she was a baby, from an illness. Zelda has no memory of her, so she doesn't actually MISS her, but she did spend a lot of her childhood wondering what it'd be like to have a mother.

2. She taught herself to read at the age of three.

3. Possibly as a result of this, she always had a vocabulary level at least five years above her actual age.

4. Because of this, even though she spent three and a half years of her adolescence unconscious, she still has a mental age reflective of her chronological age (seventeen), if not a little higher.

5. She despised most of the other little girls she associated with as a child - they were generally pampered shrieky little brats who had no time for either reading and learning, or playing in the garden.

6. She once accidentally dropped a lizard she had found during a huge banquet. It ran up a duchess's leg and made her upend her part of the table (the duchess was a... hefty woman).

7. Impa started teaching her archery when she was six. She's no master archer, but she's pretty good with a bow. She can charge them to use Light Arrows, but won't so long as she and Sheik share a body, because it'll burn his hands.

8. Her prophetic dreams have been occurring for as long as she can remember, but Impa had always urged her to keep silent with them.

9. When she and Impa escaped from the castle, they circled around the ranch then headed for a hidden pass in between Zora River and Kakariko Village. It led to the other entrance of the Shadow Temple, and that's where Impa asked Sheik for his Contract.

10. She had always known that Link would be sent back to his own time - that's why, even though she found him sweet and attractive, she refused to develop feelings for him. Anyway, someone else had caught her eye.

For Sheik -

1. Strictly chronologically speaking, even though he's physically and mentally only nineteen, he's a few hundred years old. He's just happened to have spent most of those four-hundred-odd years dead.

2. Consequentially, he's seen a hell of a lot of change, whenever he was brought back - he's seen Kakariko Village, for instance, go from a little Sheikah community along their usual travel routes, to a stable Sheikah town, to a small Hylian village. That last change took place only ten years before he was brought back this time, and he's still not used to the idea of Hylians in Kakariko.

3. When he was younger, he trained as a musician, but instead, he was one of those selected to become a Royal Guardian when he was thirteen (he left a little after his fourteenth birthday - technically it was a great honour, but he resented it for at least a few months).

4. His death at the age of nineteen, in saving the Prince of Hyrule's life, was actually preventable (had the Prince just used the red potion he had in his pack). But it was a clean, relatively non-traumatic death, and he was still fairly lucid even after being run through with a sword, so the Prince found it best for Sheik to be sworn in as a Shadow Guardian instead.

5. His role as a Shadow Guardian means that he can be brought back by members of the Royal Family to serve, in between stints on the River of the Dead. It generally only lasts a few months before the magic decays, but if he's sustained with another's form, like with Zelda, it can be maintained for years. He doesn't know the upper limit of that.

6. 'Sheik' isn't his real name - it's the name given to any Sheikah who's either a) a royal servant (this later changed so that higher-ranked servants, like Impa, could use their own names), or b) Shadow Guardians. Sheik has been both of these, and has no idea what his original name is.

7. Two or so hundred years ago, he had a short, intense affair with the princess he had been brought back to protect. The contract ended and Sheik returned to the River before he found out she had fallen pregnant. The princess miscarried a few months later, which was... probably for the best, as red Sheikah eyes tend to be a dominant trait.

8. As a rule, Shadow Guardians aren't supposed to remember any of their previous lives. But the longer these lives last, the better chance there is of remembering ones that came before it. Having been around for seven years this time, he's started remembering... a good number of these. The only one he has absolutely no recollection of is his first, living flesh-and-blood life.

9. As a result of remembering dying a few dozen times, sometimes quite painfully, he has a few... uh, issues. This mostly manifests in the form of bad nightmares - Zelda is learning how to suppress and soothe these for him, since she'd share them as well.

10. He had always known that Link would be sent back to his own time - despite that and the notable handicap that he won't live to see the end of his quest, he still has feelings for him. Oops.

governmentninja: (Choke a bitch)

[personal profile] governmentninja 2009-12-08 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
11. On paper, Leon is part of the United States Strategic Command, which is a subdivision of the Department of Defense under the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He'll generally introduce himself as either being from STRATCOM or the DoD. In actuality, he's part of the Executive Office, and his immediate superior is the President of the US. No one else is allowed to give him marching orders.

12. He is on a first name basis with the current President. One of the many perks that come with saving his daughter from terrorists.

13. Despite all he's done, Leon does NOT consider himself a hero or a role model, and is hugely uncomfortable with the idea of someone looking at him as such. He has a career kill count that's hit five figures (the vast majority of which were infectees, but there are several hundred who were not. All killings were still justified, though); as stated earlier, he has lied or stolen to gather intel; he as tortured people, quite gruesomely in fact; and he's even done a handful of assassinations. None of which he enjoyed, but he's still done it. Either way, he doesn't want to be glorified for it, and he wouldn't want anyone to go down that road.

14. Leon doesn't think highly of the superheroes he's come across. He can understand the desire to want to help out, and wanting to do so without working directly for the government. That's fine. But the fact that there's zero oversight, no guidelines beyond "killing is bad", and no age limit drags the whole thing down several notches in his eyes. There's no order or structure to it, and no one seems to stand for anything greater than their own moral code. It's like they're playing some big game with their villainous counterparts and they make up the rules as they go along.

Additionally, most heroes come across being either arrogant, reckless, insane, or a mixture of all of three. They flip off whatever laws as they see fit, seem to disregard law enforcement rather than try to work with them, violently insert themselves into situations as they see fit, and they hide their identities to escape any consequences of their actions.

15. His general coldness is something that came about as a result of him realizing that he was about five seconds away from losing his mind. He's far more screwed up than most people would realize at first glance, and struggling to hold it together. By blocking out his emotions as best he can, every decision he makes becomes a conscious one, and one he accepts full responsibility for, regardless of how he intended it to turn out. It's easier for him to deal with his life that way.

16. Despite somehow becoming the ship 'Dad', he generally doesn't consider himself fatherly. He's mostly stumbling around blindly with Sherry, and is quietly terrified that he's going to screw up horribly with her.

17. Leon has a six-figure salary. Most of which gets plugged into an IRA. He intends to retire, or at least be transferred to a different organization towards the Graham's Presidency.

18. He has a small apartment, which, outside of a tv and a bed, has virtually nothing else in it. He's never there anyway.

19. Being with Claire is the first relationship he's been in since Raccoon City. He has dated a lot over the last several years, but any shot at a relationship falls apart fast when he has to go halfway around the world at a moments notice and stay there for days on end, has to stay out of contact for that time, and can't explain where he's been or what he's been doing in all that time when he gets back.

20. Part of the reason he accepted Motoko's offer for her to work for him is that he's pragmatic enough to realize that they'll need a black ops team at some point to do a lot of dirty work that most people won't approve of. So long as they're under his command, he can make sure that they're deployed only when it's absolutely necessary.

6. He has never been in steady relationship with a girl.

7. He likes rap music, if only for the constant bragging about money and women.

Somehow I am not surprised.

[identity profile] lastofkuith.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
1. Her world is an MMORPG in another world.

2. She has found both men and women attractive, though she's only tried to pursue a relationship oce.

3. She's actually a very emotional person. She often cares for anyone who seems at all a good person and isn't annoying. She just hides this.

4. If she says she will set you on fire if you don't leave her alone, she WILL do it. Promptly heal you afterwards, but the pain will still be there.

5. She has used a spell that crushes a person slowly and so completely that all of their bodily fluids come out like juicing a giant orange. She used this on someone who was hitting on her persistently and put cat ears on her.

6. She does not really care that much about surviving the journey. She just won't let herself die a stupid death because she's prideful.

7. The marking on her cheek is neither a birth mark nor a tattoo. It's actually a bloodstain from when she fought Moh when he had destroyed her kingdom. Because of the dark fog, she didn't get a good look at him, so she wouldn't recognize him later. She had gotten some of his blood on her and it had stained her skin.

8. She likes fruity drinks.

9. She is actually the one who brought about Largo's death. Largo had defeat Moh and she had healed Largo first. Had she not also healed Moh, Moh would have died and Largo lived.

10. She had healed Moh because she had fallen in love with him when he had pretended to be their ally for a time.

11. While she may complain about Largo's personality, she does actually miss him and had grown to care for him in a weird way.

12. She has been kidnapped by three different cults as they thought she'd be a good virgin sacrifice. They didn't realize she could burn down everything with ease.

13. She's not very good with maps.

14. She's killed a unicorn before, but she won't tell anyone why she did it.

15. Despite her ability to fight and willingness to do so, she is actually a very girly girl inside. She likes to be pampered and spoiled and the finer things in life.

[identity profile] dreamstolights.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
1. She got her superpowers because of an experiment she joined to get money to pay for college.

2. She failed college because she went to classes astrally and her illusions reacted without her consciously knowing it, so when she thought she was doing assignments and tests, she wasn't.

3. The therapist she was sent to for delusions was a minor psychic who told Selene about her powers and taught her how to use them.

4. She is incapable of dreaming. Ever. If her powers are working, she's not dreaming on her own. If she's in a sleep state above or deeper than dreaming, she's normal.

5. She wanted to become a therapist or something along those lines because of her brother. He had trouble with their parents always working and problems at school. He turned to drinking and then died when she was seven. She wanted to prevent that for others.

6. Before Selene was a superhero and after she failed college, she worked in a bar. She did this because she thought to use her powers to help people and basically looked out for the 'problem drinkers' and helped them work through their problems by using their dreams to get them change. Usually with more positive, guilt driven dreams. And then nightmares if that failed.

7. Selene has a scary, scary temper. She is vindictive and she will get revenge on people.

8. She is also emotionally detached. Because she won't let herself to be swayed by dreams, which feels like reality to her, she ends up being detached in reality. She has to make the conscious effort to not let herself be detached in reality too.

9. Three coolest things she's done: Beat down a giant spider in her bar's bathroom with a mix of beating it with a beer mug and putting it to sleep. The time she got a boost from the Potentializer in Nazi alternate universe and caused mass dream alterations ACROSS THE ENTIRE WORLD to reveal the truth about world war too. And the time she blew up the ENTIRE Kanshian invasion fleet by putting the lead shift to sleep since it was a biological living ship and the fleet worked on hivemind and when it went to sleep, everything blew up. (This happened right before she came to Stacy.)

10. She is the reincarnation of Cassandra. The prophetess who was never believed. She does not know this herself. It is also why she was destined to meet Deja Vu/Helen in her time. Helen was also Helen of Troy.

11. She knows her powers can be seen as invasive and questionable. She has made excuses to justify every bad point about them.

12. She will never, ever, ever tell what she sees in other people's dreams unless she has been asked to look for this information and she thinks it's necessary to find out this information or if the information reveals something that will cause mass evil of some sort.

13. She has asked Helen that should she ever go into a coma and there is the chance of something happening to her memory, that if she does not wake within a month, that she is to be killed. Selene knows how angry she can get and she's afraid of what might happen if she isn't able to keep control of herself.

14. She has a button a smiley face button that she got from the Possessions locker. If she wears it and it's smiling, it means it's her. If it's frowning, it means she's possessed. Again.

15. Helen is the person who designed and made her superhero costume.

16. She is one of two Luminaries who actually has a secret identity. Most of the team don't care enough to do so.

17. She fears nothing. Enough nightmares and nothing is scary anymore. She's not stupid or reckless about things, but she's very logical about her concerns.

1. He is the first truly sentient shadow. Others are usually instinct and some intelligence, but for the most part, are doomed to follow their masters or those who would send them against their masters.

2. He's become sentient because shadows become stronger with more light. Because Link had a lot of light, he was already a powerful shadow. He became sentient because of this Link's particular closeness with Princess Zelda and her light affected him.

3. He does not actually hate the Link(s) or Princess Zelda. He's resentful because he cared about them deeply, but they never acknowledged him.

4. Vio, the purple Link, was his first true friend.

5. While the light will always weaken him, the light only does constant, burning damage because he believes it will do that.

6. His greatest wish is to be acknowledged. Because of this, Leela has gotten his loyalty as she acknowledged what a good job he did during the zombie invasion.

7. Shadow Link makes his own clothes with his shadow magic.

8. His body works how he believes it to work. It can work exactly like a human's body if he wills it too, or it can become a pure shadow.

9. He loves learning and experiencing new things and has gone out of his way to do so.

10. Deep inside, Shadow Link is a good person. While he may make excuses for why he does good things even though he's supposed to be a not nice guy, he does them because he really does want to help.

[identity profile] thethirdhalfa.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
1. She still cares about Vlad. Despite knowing it's rather stupid to do so, she still does and has a little sparkle of hope that maybe one day he'll actually care about her and not be a fruit loop.

2. She didn't think so at first, but after leaving Vlad, Dani realized how alike she was to the other clones and viewed them as brothers.

3. She still feels she's at least partly at fault for the other clones deaths. She plans to never tell Danny about two or three for fear that he might blame himself too and didn't want that on his conscience.

4. She avoided visiting Danny as long as she could because she did not want to risk him having her stay and forcing him to reveal his secret to his parents.

5. Dani had lived with Vlad for about a month and helped him work on aspects of the cloning project for the final clone.

6. Oddly enough, she really likes tea.

7. Dani stole a bunch of money from Vlad's Cottage and she lived off that for a while as she looked for someone who'd pay her for work so she didn't have to steal to eat.

8. Dani views stealing and sneaking into places as illegal, but she believes it's all right as long as it's necessary and it's not really going to hurt them if she took a bit of food or took a nap somewhere.

9. She has an exceptional memory. Mostly because she's only a year old and doesn't really have a lot to remember.

10. Dani knows A LOT about biology, genetics, and ectology for her age. Mostly because she had been studying the subjects at any chance she could get while she was on the run in hopes of fixing herself. However, she has not lost interests in these subjects even though she has been fixed.

11. Dani has a very open mind about ghosts. Since she was both human and ghost at birth, she probably has more an affinity with both races than the other two halfas. She's more willing to give a ghost a chance before assuming they might be bad.

12. She has resolved to never lead people to Danny again unless she has absolute proof they're good guys. She will trust them with everything else, but after getting Danny captures by both Vlad and Valerie, she won't risk it again.

13. She wants to be something along the lines of a geneticist when she grows up, since astronaut is really out of the question.

14. She is willing to give anyone a chance to be a good person, even if they've done something bad. Except, perhaps, for people who have hurt those she cares about.

15. She hates dresses. With a passion.

[identity profile] gangstageek.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
1. Sean did not like the ghetto gangsta talk he did. He does, however, like his ninja name. As McNinja says, they are dorky, and Sean is definitely dorky.

2. Sean goes to a Catholic school. With NUNS as part of the staff. (Surprised me too.)

3. Gordito was his first real friend and was the only person he felt okay about being open with back home.

4. More than anything, Sean wants his parents approval. Sure, he'll say he doesn't act like the geek he is because he doesn't want the grief they'll give him because of his brother, but he really just wants their approval.

5. Sean likes people. He likes being social. He likes having friends. And he desperately wants them. Ninja training and the ebonic persona has kept him from going out and making them.

6. He does not know what his own face looks like.

7. His ninja specialty, the one that was always present and not just in the modern technology age, is disguises. He can disguises as anyone. Thanks to technology, since machines are just his specialty in general, he can even perfect his disguises even more by making machines to mimic even magic. Like freeze spells and electricity.

8. He HAS killed people. He WILL kill people. As nice of a guy he is, he will kill for the success of the mission without batting an eye unless he somehow knows the person and cares about them living.

9. He has a major crush on Brenda. Quite possibly in love with her. However, he downplays it as a small crush because he really wants her to be happy.

10. In his personal opinion, explosions fix everything.

11. He actually thinks it's kind of cool his brother is pursuing his passion to be a doctor, even if it's annoying because of the trouble it caused him pursuing his own dreams.

[identity profile] escapednothlit.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
5. Yes. Yes he did.

6. Well, he DID vanish and he wasn't in a car accident. He wasn't, was he?

14. Oddly enough, he gives her the credit for his survival. He's pretty sure he would have lost it otherwise.

[identity profile] escapednothlit.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
1. Elfangor does not want to be a hero. He does not want to be in charge. He does not want to take care of everyone else who isn't his family. However, he's good at it, he knows he's good at it, and thus he does it.

2. He hates the Ellimist so very much and if he could actually manage it, would love to hit him with his tail blade.

3. Elfangor. Can. Drive. Anything. It does not matter what it is. It could be a tricycle and he'll find a way to drive it.

4. He has a fondness for kamikaze. Mostly because he got used to it since he was so angry leaving Loren and his son behind and didn't really care about surviving. Has the luck to never quite die when he does it though.

5. Really, when you think about it, Elfangor is a sexually deviant. After all, he did think Loren was quite pretty even before falling in love with her. He likes the blonde hair~!

6. He is one of only two nothlits who have ever regained the ability to morph. He was the only one who was able to return to his original form instead of using the nothlit form as his starting morph.

7. He's a natural when it comes to tail blade fighting.

8. He has a great faith for the ability of humans, children, and human children especially. After seeing Loren's epic, he believes that underestimating humankind was a bad idea.

9. Before coming onto Stacy, the only person he ever told about what happened to him during the incident with the Time Matrix and his disappearance was the captain of the ship he rescued after the Ellimist sent him back to the Andalites.

10. It took months, with Loren's help, before he stopped having weird reactions to food when he ate. Occasional bursts of pure unbridled joy still overcame him for his entire time as a human everytime he ate something with a lot of cinnamon in it.

[identity profile] dreamstolights.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
18. She has two unofficial alternate nicknames: Coma Girl and Narcoleptic Girl. Handy Man is usually the only one who gets away with Coma Girl on a regular basis.

19. She once surrendered to the enemy when her body was pulled along to where her astral projection was. She is a squishy and she KNOWS she is a squishy and she knows there's no way she's taking down four supervillains by herself with her body there. Though she did manage to avoid getting sucked into an interdimensional prison through force of will and just got put in the freaky radiation room.

20. If she ever, ever, EVER breaks her moral code of what she is supposed to be like as a superhero and how she uses her powers, she's pretty sure she will go insane. She knows she's not as mentally stable as she appears to others and doesn't believe she will be able to take a serious breach of the code she make to make what she does 'all right' in her mind.

[identity profile] visserbasher.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 06:32 am (UTC)(link)
5. Laughing forever at this picture.

6. Yes he did, the jerk. I think without Loren's memories of surviving that incredibly dangerous space adventure, she probably never realized her full potential and ended up marrying the guy because she didn't think she'd meet anyone else more interesting and so he was more or less "safe." Only turns out he wasn't since he left her. But she didn't end up remembering that either after the car accident. ...Dude, Loren's life sucks so hard.

14. It's so cute how they wouldn't have made it without each other.

[identity profile] thethirdhalfa.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
16. While she does not have Danny's knowledge, she has found she learns things he knew faster already faster than normal.

17. The reason she was able to avoid melting for as long as she did without a cure was through pure will alone.

18. Dani has never hated anyone until the pirates who killed Brainiac 5. While she hated what Vlad did, she couldn't manage to hate him. The pirates, however, are the first people she's ever thought deserved to die,

19. Despite her mostly honest nature, Dani can lie when she really wants to and quite well given the circumstance. Vlad taunt her how to keep a straight face and she's kept that knowledge with her.

20. She thinks people are weird when they freak out about things that only society make them freak out about. Like when people flailed to give her the sex talk.

[identity profile] mynameisax.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
1. If Jake and Elfangor were to give him conflicting orders, Ax would follow Jake's. Unless it was really obviously stupid, but Ax trusts that Jake wouldn't do that.

2. He still has nightmares about playing Nuke Chicken with Visser Two and the Animorphs' home town.

3. He's better about the whole "taste" thing now. But if it's small enough and looks food-like, he'll spend some time deeply considering tasting it.

4. He wobbles between hero-worshipping and resenting Elfangor.

5. A teenage girl performed brain surgery on him once. In her barn. Okay, said barn had an operating room in it because the girl's dad ran a Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic out of it, but still.

6. He hasn't told Elfangor about the Nuke Chicken because he worries that Elfangor will be disappointed in him.

7. He once ran into the captain of the Dome Ship he was on so hard that he knocked him over and bruised one of his eye-stalks. This Andalite was also a War-Prince and Elfangor's idol.

8. Since meeting the Animorphs, Ax has blown up a continent, fought a T-rex in his natural body and won, been stuffed in an Atlantean freezer, caused his worst enemy to dye himself purple, been kidnapped by an alien cloud from Saturn, eaten an entire tray of cinnamon buns, invented TiVo, fallen in love with a girl who could probably talk science with Brainiac 5, seen a single android destroy two dozen Hork-Bajir Controllers in ten seconds, lived with a Controller for three days while impersonating someone else, used oatmeal as a biological weapon, stood up to the Andalite High Command twice, been rescued by a pod of humpback whales, jumped out of a space ship two miles up in the air and successfully demorphed and remorphed before hitting the ground, and traveled through time twice. And that's not even all of it.

9. He can completely understand why Elfangor would become a human nothlit.

10. He's gotten used to being the "tech" guy for the Animorphs, and he's feeling a bit at loose ends with all of these genuine scientists around.

o1. Obi-Wan is not a virgin and has been in love twice. His first love was the Jedi version of a "Highschool Sweetheart." They later confessed their love as she died in his arms. The other was an affair with a senator_ technically, he hasn't much room to bitch about Anakin.

o2. He has two brothers, whom he once visited, out of curiosity. They never got along.

o3. Obi-Wan actually dislikes being called 'Ben.'

o4. He's ever had a pet, but he loves animals. If Obi-Wan ever did get a pet (presuming it wasn't some odd alien something, and discounting Anakin from the 'pet' category) he'd get a Shetland Sheepdog (http://cdn-www.dailypuppy.com/media/dogs/anonymous/jackson_shetland03.jpg_w450.jpg).

o5. Very secretly, Obi-Wan is mortified that Qui-Gon will soon realize he has a girlfriend. He's sure he'll get in trouble for it— but despite that, he's still not going to hide it.

o6. Until he saw Luke's projection of his death, he found Luke's obvious feelings for him to be a bit creepy, bordering on stalkerish. He's much better, now.

o7. Obi-Wan would kill to have his Jedi robes back. Sleeeveeesss! T_T

o8. Obi-Wan wants the memories from his universe's death. He feels that he owes it to all the dead to remember for them, to know how they died.

o9. He hates using the sensoriums, because it's too tempting to use them as surrogates for the things he's lost. For the same reason, he hesitates to ask Arha not to use them, as well. Obi-Wan is a big fan of letting people fight their own moral battles, and win or lose on their own merit.

1o. Obi-Wan knew all along about Anakin and Padmé. He might not have known how far things had gone, but he knew they were in love. Anakin Skywalker is just not that good of a liar.

Elfangor's attraction to Loren is technically bestiality. I still approve of and ship it hardcore.....does that make me a bad person? <3?

o1. As a child, Motoko lost her entire family in a plane crash. She was one of twenty people to survive the crash, and of those only two survived the related injuries. She was in a coma for nearly a year, and though she could not move or open her eyes, was aware the entire time.

o2. She has no memory of her family, and went through the surgery to become a cyborg at the tender age of seven. For this reason, her emotional patterns are a little childish. For example, she hates losing with a fiery passion, and will go to stupid lengths to assure victory.

o3. Her visible body is actually a series of panels covering a much thinner inner bodyform like a turtleshell. She can lift these panels at will to reveal the underlying structure, and aside from the defensive shielding, the fact that they make her look human is a mainly cosmetic decision.

o4. How much of Motoko's brain is still flesh is left ambiguous. What's clear is that whatever portion of her body that's still physically human is probably not actually related to her consciousness, except in the abstract. She is capable of finding the computer processes that control the emotion-producing chemicals in her brain and turn them off. This provides her with a colder, more logical view of the world, and as a result she is slowly losing her ability to feel spontaneous emotions.

o5. If someone she loved ever told Motoko, with sincerity, that they loved her, she'd probably run for the hills and never, ever return. She seeks out rules and regulation, but cannot stand to be constrained. Childish emotions, again: it's safe for Motoko to love someone, and for them to love her, so long as no one says it aloud and makes it real.

o6. Her ego could outweigh a planet. It's not that she's prideful or arrogant, it's that she's better than you.

o7. She has had some commercial success running VR cross-immersion lesbian threesome porn on the net. Batou once walked in on one of these sessions.

o8. Motoko once did all her stealth work in nothing but a transparent body-stocking. Once thermoptic technology improved she put her clothes on, but there was never anything like the thrill of beating a heavily armed man into the dirt while technically naked.

o9. Her employers used to audit her thoughts. If they ever saw the memories of Stacy, they'd force her to delete the lot of them as anomalous. As a result of her own skill and Aramaki's meddling, she's no longer subject to this treatment: in exchange she will be killed when her employment is terminated, if at all possible.

1o. The Net is her Spice. If she were less stubborn, she'd ask Stacy to simulate it in the sensorium. As it is, she's just really annoyed and harrowed all the time, which results in her seeking out more social interaction to distract from how goddamn quiet everything is all the time. For someone used to having all of humanity talking over themselves in the back of her head, Stacy is a very silent place.

o2: If you can't enjoy the explosions, then make someone else set the charges. Blowing shit up is one of the great joys of this line of work.

o3: Let's just call it an 'interesting near-death experience,' and not ever speak of it again.

o7: Motoko feels the same way about Togusa's daughters, and will probably end up playing guardian angel for them at some point. Sherry too, at this rate.

o8: We at section 9 would think less of you, if you hadn't.

15: Motoko approves. Smart boys take responsibility for their actions.

19: How about you date someone who's not a civilian?

2o: If he ever calls her 'Black Ops' to her face, she'll break both his arms.

11. She will laugh if anyone is ever shocked when it comes out that she and Batou are not 'good people.' They are secret police, the kind who do midnight knocks and have unmarked vehicles specifically for daytime abductions.

1: ....what. But he's....oh, nevermind.

4: Stubborn.

10: Well, his name was 'Xanatos.' That's kind of an indicator.
