6. Yes he did, the jerk. I think without Loren's memories of surviving that incredibly dangerous space adventure, she probably never realized her full potential and ended up marrying the guy because she didn't think she'd meet anyone else more interesting and so he was more or less "safe." Only turns out he wasn't since he left her. But she didn't end up remembering that either after the car accident. ...Dude, Loren's life sucks so hard.

6. So he is a loser. At least when Elfangor disappeared, it was to save the universe and family alike. And he's gonna work so Loren doesn't have sucky life.
