HI THIS IS LIKE 95% HEADCANON SRY
1. Birthday is September 7; currently eighteen years old.
2. Has a pathological aversion to tomato soup whose origins he will not willingly divulge to anyone.
3. Favorite color is blue.
4. Is conversant in Swedish.
5. Keeps girlie mags stashed in a storage compartment in his Zoid's cockpit.
6. Dad was critically injured in a Zoid crash when Jamie was five. Jamie doesn't like to talk about it, partially because he has only fragmented memories of this period of time.
7. Used to have a split personality who eventually got his own body. They hated each other's guts.
8. Apparently has a ridiculously high tolerance for alcohol.
9. Misses his friends and family more than he will probably ever tell anyone, but copes by trying not to think about the fact that they're gone.
10. Back on the island, had a cat who helped him fold laundry. He called her Reno.

11. Lived with his team sponsor Steven Toros and Steve's kids, Leon and Leena, from a pretty young age, being sent to them shortly after his dad's accident. Has come to think of them (and probably eventually his other teammates, Brad Hunter and Bit Cloud) as a somewhat dysfunctional surrogate family.
12. Loved his first Zoid, a Pteras (http://zoids.wikia.com/wiki/Pteras), more than anything in the world. (Seriously, he once told it he loved it and that it was "the greatest Zoid in the entire universe." While nuzzling it.) Still misses it a lot. Learned to work with his next Zoid, a Raynos (http://zoids.wikia.com/wiki/Raynos), but never really liked it as much as he did the Pteras - it was the same kind of Zoid his dad crashed and carries a lot of bad memories for Jamie. Is unnerved by the (Psycho) Geno Saurer (http://zoids.wikia.com/wiki/Geno_Saurer#Guardian_Force) on certain levels, but has grown to love it lots too, for possibly unhealthy reasons.
13. Only thing he really likes about the meatship is the fact that no one knows about the awkward stuff that happened in his more recent past and consequently will not ask him things like "hey why do you avoid your ex-physics teacher like the plague" or "so tell me about your other personality!"
14. Asking him about aforementioned ex-physics teacher will result in a lot of question-dodging, changes of subject, sullen passive-aggression, attempts to flee, and, if all else fails, violence. Is learning to be a little more forthcoming about the other personality, but still doesn't like to talk about it.
15. Likes his clothes somewhat baggy and oversized; the plantsuits are way too form-fitting for his liking.
16. Drinks his coffee black.
17. Cannot swim and is in no particular hurry to learn.
18. Isn't prone to strong outward expressions of any emotion, but tries particularly hard to conceal things like anger or resentment.
19. Really doesn't like physical contact beyond handshakes and stuff, but probably won't let on outwardly that he's bothered by it.
20. Despite his hatred for his other personality, probably needed him more than he cares to admit, since retreating behind this personality was his only way of coping with intensely stressful or frightening situations. Hasn't had to face anything particularly traumatic since being stripped of this defense mechanism, but if and when he does, the results likely won't be pretty.
