The I'd Hit It Meme

The I'D HIT IT Meme
{borrowed/inspired by: [livejournal.com profile] nottome}

Let's face it. There are some pretty hot people out there. Ever pointed somebody out to your friends and say, I'd hit it?

Well now you have the chance to say it to their faces!
The rules of the game are simple:

1. Comment as your character. (One comment per character.)

2. Comment to others!!! Don't be shy!!!

3. Got a friend who's too shy? Post their character's name for them! They may or may not thank you for it.

4. IT'S FOR FUN, YOU GUYS. FUN!

Someone needs to teach you something.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
......are you implying you would? [and now he's weirded out. XD]

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
For one thing, you're a lot older than I am.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
You sound pretty confident about that. How old do you think I am?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
I estimate in your mid-twenties easily.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Seventeen, actually. How old did you think I was?

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Hasn't any told you? Age is just a number.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
A number which gives an idea of other things like experience, physical health, maturity, risk of legal ramifications...

A lot of things can be reduced to numbers. Everything, actually. That doesn't make them any less important.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Either you miss the point deliberately or you're just an idiot.

In a purely physical encounter, age is irrelevant providing that both parties are able and have given uncoerced and informed consent.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Or I'm from a culture where such things are no longer common and you're being close-minded.

And anyway, I'm not interested in a purely physical encounter.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Or I'm deliberately baiting you.

[Smirk] She's right, you are cuter when you're angry.

unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
Brainy. Never, ever point that out. Not to mention that older people tend to be more mature and better able to keep up with geniuses.

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
But it's true. ...that doesn't make any sense. Age has nothing to do with intellect.

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
But it's not polite. Maybe if I said "better able to put up with geniuses"?

I didn't make any judgements, Lyle. Just stated a fact. And what does that mean?

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
It's not a fact you should bring up. I'm sure she knows it. They're more likely to understand that your life isn't all about them, and you may be busy saving the universe or inventing something.

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
If she knows it, why shouldn't I mention it? It doesn't go away when not mentioned, after all. I'd think most people could understand that. And if not, I could just tell them.

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
It's the context. You're implying she's an unsuitable date due to her age. Telling people that fiddling around in a lab is more important than spending time with them usually doesn't go well.

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
But isn't that true? Most people don't look for a large age gap in prospective dates. Personally I think there are more complicated problems involved, but that was the least... difficult to discuss. But it's often true. 'Fiddling around in a lab' can be the difference between there being an Earth or other world tomorrow or not.

Re: unasked-for relationship advice time

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
That's kind of why you don't bring it up. Just say you're not interested. But we never talk anymore.

Lyle is so fighting a losing battle.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
She asked for clarification, I provided it. But we're talking right now!

Oh ouch. XD
