The "What does your character think of mine?" Meme!
Simple meme, guys. :D
Post with your characters. Other people can post with theirs and ask what your character thinks of theirs in the game. (Answer OOCly)
This might be useful for all of you doing character lists.
Have fun!

Leon respects the Chief a lot, and does consider him a friend. Though he thinks the Chief sees himself more as either a weapon or a tool than as a person, and that bothers him. Which is largely why he pushes for the Chief to relax more, so he'll have something more to mentally anchor him to the ground.

He'd recommend that she lay off the coffee, though.

That energy and perkiness is entirely natural.

He votes the same way as Leon in 99.9% of command staff decisions and probably holds his requests in higher regard than those of the captain.

LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Actually, Leon does at least make an effort to get his name right. So it's probably more 'Lieu-esss'. Definitely a good friend, and Leon trusts the guy to handle and supervise dangerous biohazards, and run the science department without worrying that it'll accidentally blow the ship up. He kinda wishes Luis would turn down the sleaze a little, but won't actually tell him that.

I trust that that, like the proper pronunciation of Luis' first name, will go unspoken for a long time to come.

The jealousy is waning slightly, but Steve still doesn't trust him much, and has the overwhelming feeling that Leon doesn't like him. He's also very uncomfortable with the idea that there is a weapon specially-tuned to kill him sitting on Leon's dresser.
(Deep, deep, deep down he wishes they got along better so that Steve might "fit in" to the family by more merit than Claire's assurance that he does.)

But at present, he just can't really relate to the kid, and doesn't much want to. He knows the boy is going through a lot, but it annoys him that he acts like a child and uses Claire for an emotional crutch. He hopes Steve can grow up and mature, but Leon knows he isn't the right person to teach him.

Actually, Leon is fairly ambivalent about Paco. The kid strikes him as being a bit of a meathead, though ultimately harmless, but not someone Leon would ever give a shred of actual responsibility to. He does hope the kid is able to recover from losing his arm.

Anyway, despite the two of them not getting off to the best start, Leon does like Katara. He has a natural tendency to be Dad at her, though he doesn't really know why. Though it's probably because, despite the attitude she projects, he really can't help but see her for the child she is.
Overall, he thinks she's a sweet kid, with a lot of potential, but that she needs guidance, which he's willing to offer. She lets her emotions drive her a bit too much, and tries to take on more than she should. He figures that if she can rein herself in a little bit, she'll grow up to be quite the woman.

He doesn't know when he stopped pretending to be her father, and simply started being her father, but he's there now, and he likes it. He's kind of worried that Sherry might feel she's second to his job, which isn't the case, so he tries to spend as much time with her as he can. Other than the fact that he keeps nearly having an aneurysm whenever she talks to Vega, there's nothing about her he would change.

Nah, Leon is sooooo in love with Claire, which should be painfully obvious, even though I don't think I've ever had him say so in game. He's also probably more dependent on her for his sanity than she realizes.
She's one of the few people who doesn't look at him as either an asset or an authority figure, so he can drop the :| persona around her. (Though, in headcanon, I maintain that he tried to :| at her all day once, and about 45 minutes into it, she punched him in the shoulder and told him to stop being an ass. He hasn't tried again since.) Around her, he feels like he's allowed to be human, since that's frowned upon at work.
She keeps him from working himself to death, and reminds him to take care of himself. He enjoys being around her, and she pulls him out of his usual comfort zone. And the sex is amazing.
He admires, well, everything about her, but he likes that she's badass while still being normal. He's grateful that he has her as a partner in raising Sherry, because he's fairly certain he'd fail at it alone.
He doesn't like that he has to keep secrets from her, even if they're all work related. But he's quietly thankful that she doesn't press him about them. Because if she did, he'd probably spill.
He wants her to be happy, but he's smart enough to stay out of her way while she finds her niche on the meatship.
But, basically, he loves her to pieces. And is damn happy to be her boyfriend.

Add to it that he was able to discuss said issues in a manner that was both rational and reasonable, and that really places him a cut above most of the rest. Leon really wishes more of the crew had Goliath's maturity.
Leon is looking forward to getting to know Goliath better, and hopefully will add him to the ranks of Security someday.
