Surprisingly, while there is still a strong element of 'bizarre human who seems friendly but it's probably a trap', there's a fast-growing hero-worship/big brother thing. It's really growing quite a lot faster than even those beyond the Fourth Wall thought. Although the fact it's there at all is a nice little miracle.

(Honestly, I thought he'd be terrified of Humans to the extent of running off like a hunted deer.)
