I feel vaguely bad posting this since we've had a few other memes over the last few days but. I wanna spam the hell out of everyone. .___.

In honour of the fact that it's Valentine's tomorrow in my corner of the world, I bring you the Blind Date Meme!

Somehow, someway, your character has agreed to a blind date (or several). Maybe they were coerced into it, maybe they don't actually mind the idea, maybe it's just Stacy messing with everyone's heads again, but they're here now. And at the very least, it shouldn't be boring for them.

♥ Make a comment for your character, you can outline a mini-setting if you want. (Think along the lines of the 'Waking up in bed' meme we had a little while back.)

♥ Other characters comment to that as the other half of the blind date!

[He blinked a bit and then smirked]

Maybe your technique just needs work? Plus X-Men.. and mutant teams in general it seems... aren't that great at keeping relationships up. I should know.

Except for Scott, who doesn't even try and gets the hotties lining up at his door. Same with Warren. The pricks.

She's a real animal in bed. She doesn't need those powers of hers to make it more interesting.

Yeah, but look at what Scott's gotten to work with. As wonderful as Jean can be...

[He notices the move, but doesn't say anything, just smirks]

[He blinks at the move and shakes his head. Drinking more of the wine he'd forgot about]

[He grins and swipes the bottle from Bobby when he's done drinking, takes a quick gulp, and hands it back]

Well then. ...that's not bad wine, actually.

Yeah and if you keep drinking it like that, it's not going to last much longer.

[He snorts] You've been drinking more than I have, Drake. Trying to drown your sorrows?

[He shakes his head and shrugs] I'm sick of being alone. At least dead, I won't have to worry about that.

[He steals back the bottle and takes a hefty gulp]

But you're drunker than I thought if you're serious about this. [He slings his arm around Bobby's shoulders] You're not that alone after all.

[Bobby couldn't help leaning into Jamie, taking the bottle back and gulping down a bit more]

So what if I am drunk? And I am alone. No one wants me. I'm a giant ice cube.

You're not one right now. [Yeah, that was a bad attempt at humour, but he's also drunk]

And you're not alone. You've got friends and stuff. Rest of the X-Men will turn up too. Hell, they live through everything else. 'Sides I know a lot about being alone. 'S like my major. Or something.

[He snorted] Any second I could turn into one. You never know.

But they ain't here. And even if they were. They're just friends. Not like it'd help with the loneliness.

Friends are easier than other stuff. Don't have to worry about. Things. [He tightens his arm and moves in closer] 'course don't have to worry about it with guys either.

[He tilts his head and rests it against Jamie's shoulder]

Yeah, they do. [His hand may be starting to wander a little lower.]

[He laughs a bit] Noted. I'll try not to. I doubt I'd be able to live after that. [A bit of a teasing smile and a batting of his eyes] My life would be over. Jamie Madrox ignoring me. I'd have to kill myself.

[He's a bit drunk right now, and so he's just going to lean into him]

But some guys are a bigger headache. Like Jean-Paul...

[Jamie laughs as well.] Hey, there's a lot of me to ignore you. I could do a whole roomful. Just. Ignoring you.

[He is going to steal that bottle for another swig and also use the movement to hook his hand in the waistband of Bobby's pants.] Huh? What about Jean-Paul?

[He pouted a bit and pushed Jamie's shoulder.] Now don't tease. I don't think I could stand a whole room of you, ignoring me. Might break what's left of my heart.

[He shakes his head as the bottle goes missing again] Annie, the nurse we had, the one who was in love with Alex? She said he liked me. Like was in love with me or something. But I think she was just pulling my leg, because if there's one person who hates me on that island, it had to be him. But then I remember him always flirting with me... You know we almost had a date once?
