I feel vaguely bad posting this since we've had a few other memes over the last few days but. I wanna spam the hell out of everyone. .___.

In honour of the fact that it's Valentine's tomorrow in my corner of the world, I bring you the Blind Date Meme!

Somehow, someway, your character has agreed to a blind date (or several). Maybe they were coerced into it, maybe they don't actually mind the idea, maybe it's just Stacy messing with everyone's heads again, but they're here now. And at the very least, it shouldn't be boring for them.

♥ Make a comment for your character, you can outline a mini-setting if you want. (Think along the lines of the 'Waking up in bed' meme we had a little while back.)

[Ahava is relaxing in a park on a blanket spread out under a tree. There's a basket of (presumably) food close by and she's reading a book while she waits.]

Why did I agree to this? Dates are usually characterized by mutual interest in the involved parties, but when the arrangement is set this way there's an increased risk of an unpleasant experience.

I've never been inclined to enjoy games of chance.

[There's a city view, the whole place lit up with Christmas lights and freshly fallen snow. On this roof top, the highest in the city or so it seems, is a nice set up. A small table for two, two full plates of food which are covered of course, and a chilling bottle of wine. Jason's standing near the edge of the building, watching the city.]

[There's an odd look on Aeneas's face as he waits, curled up in a cushy chair with a polished visor and a bowl of...something. It's difficult to tell, but whatever it is it smells like heaven. The alien is also giving off an odd scent of his own, which is reminiscent of sugar water and crushed apples.

[Dustin is sitting in the corner booth of a small diner, dressed casually but with clean, ironed clothes that do better justice for his emaciated frame than the plantsuits. His thick, dark brown hair has been recently washed, combed as well as physically possible into neater spikes. On a related note, Dustin's also clean-shaven—albeit with as strong a five-o’clock shadow as if he'd never messed with his facial hair in the first place.

He's ordered a bottle of vintage wine, which remains uncorked for now, for the scruffy man is busy scouting out the bar near the front. If his date doesn't show—which evidence suggests she won't—then it'd be a good idea to find some other lucky woman to share lunch with now rather than later. There's a cute blond in a business suit, absently nursing a decorative beverage while gossiping with the bartender...]

Sam is a dead man for putting him up to this. He didn't need a blind date, he could pick women just fine and has. If anything his brother could use a blind date more than him or hell Cas.

He sighed, leaning against a tree trunk, looking bored and impatient.

Yeah, he was so gonna find some itching powder to stick in Sam's underwear tonight. Or better yet, high octane chili powder. Yeah, that'd work.

He sighed again as he scanned the area some more.
