Blind Date Meme

I feel vaguely bad posting this since we've had a few other memes over the last few days but. I wanna spam the hell out of everyone. .___.

In honour of the fact that it's Valentine's tomorrow in my corner of the world, I bring you the Blind Date Meme!

Somehow, someway, your character has agreed to a blind date (or several). Maybe they were coerced into it, maybe they don't actually mind the idea, maybe it's just Stacy messing with everyone's heads again, but they're here now. And at the very least, it shouldn't be boring for them.

♥ Make a comment for your character, you can outline a mini-setting if you want. (Think along the lines of the 'Waking up in bed' meme we had a little while back.)

♥ Other characters comment to that as the other half of the blind date!

♥ SPAM HAPPENS.

My inbox dies horribly PROFIT!*

* 'PROFIT' may not apply if participants' idea of profit is anything other than large amounts of spam. Offer void outside the internets.

And B5 fails to get the innuendo. Then he and reboot bitch over Lyle later.

Why would I think about that? It serves a function sometimes, but otherwise? What is there to think about?

Dear Brainies: sex exists. check the internet for details

[It's not as though Lyle doesn't appreciate someone's mind for once not going into the gutter. It's just a little weird that Brainy doesn't seem to know gutters even exist.

Lyle debates explaining it to him, but he's already gotten in his teasing quota for the day, so he'll skip it.]

There's no point in having it if you don't think of every way you can use it.

[Yes, he was talking about strategy. Of course. Turning visible now. Ignore the amused expression.]

You really want to overload B5's systems like that?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
[Gutters? He has no idea what that has to do with anything. And Lyle probably exceeded his teasing quota.

Brainy thinks about this]

You mean planning as many infiltration tactics as could be feasible? We did have Cham go undercover once...

Yes. And record it. And upload it to youtube!

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
[Lyle is probably over his teasing quota for the decade, yes.]

Really? [Now his interest is perked.] Do you have an Espionage Squad?

You get an adorable teenbot, and you always want to break it.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Espionage Squad? No, nothing like that. We had Cham try and go in to learn more about Imperiex's plans, but it... didn't end well.

He'd be more careful if this wasn't the crack comm. Because he is not evil like I am.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
[So much for his hope of spy stories.]

Was he all right?

Sadly I approve this evilness. B5 has no hope.

He recovered quickly enough. The error was my fault, I'm afraid.

hugging, teasing, stealing of body parts ... he's doomed

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
Espionage is pretty tough, not to mention dangerous. But it's necessary.

Well, at least he's not dead- owait.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
Actually the problem was more with my attempt to help Cham... improve his performance.

And it turned out to be futile either way, since the plan was discovered early in and Cham was fed false information.

at least he gets a lot of action for a dead guy? dates, even!

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
[Lyle is raising his eyebrows all the way up. Does he really want to know?]

I'm sure I've made bigger screw-ups.

That is something, true. ...he could go for less hugs though.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh lookit that interesting thing over there. He'll just stare at it rather than Lyle.]

Well, he recovered and we were able to stop Imperiex regardless, so there's that. I don't think Cham bore much of a grudge either.

Everyone, let's see if we can crush Brainy's metal body with our arms!

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-14 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
Cham's good like that. Ours is, I mean. We're good friends.

We really ought to all meet up and compare notes sometime.

It would be fun, and I'd like to speak with my counterpart again.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure he would too.

[stretches and stands]

Well, I should probably get going. Thanks for the date.

[Have a peck on the cheek, Brainy.]

It was fun.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 10:40 am (UTC)(link)
You're wel-

[Goddamit, Lyle, he was using that brain and you had to go and seize it up.

He'll just sit here a bit with a stunned look on his face while you leave.]
