~~I feel vaguely bad posting this since we've had a few other memes over the last few days but. I wanna spam the hell out of everyone. .___.~~

In honour of the fact that it's Valentine's tomorrow in my corner of the world, I bring you the Blind Date Meme!

Somehow, someway, your character has agreed to a blind date (or several). Maybe they were coerced into it, maybe they don't actually mind the idea, maybe it's just Stacy messing with everyone's heads again, but they're here now. And at the very least, it shouldn't be boring for them.

♥ Make a comment for your character, you can outline a mini-setting if you want. (Think along the lines of the 'Waking up in bed' meme we had a little while back.)

♥ Other characters comment to that as the other half of the blind date!

[Brainy is muttering to himself as he leaves, and he doesn't care if you can hear him, Lyle.]

[Lyle got most of his laughing done when he saw Brainy approach, fortunately.]

[He's pretty sure you're laughing at him, Lyle. And it's not helping his pouting any.]

[Lyle chuckles, pulls something out of his pocket and slides it across the table. A long jewelry box.]

The last of the cliche Valentine's presents. Unless you want to buy me a teddy bear, that is.

[He's beginning to think he was more comfortable with getting teased into fetching cocoa. The jewellery box is stared at, like it might just explode on him.]

...what is it?

It's just a bracelet. [It's not going to bite you.] I didn't know what else to bring.

Thank you, but I'm not sure if I'd get much use out of it, to be honest.

Well, I didn't know who was coming, or I'd have give you something a bit more personalized.

You still get a kiss at the end, at least.

[Suspicious] Do you actually mean that, or are you just trying to bother me again?

[raises an eyebrow] No, dates traditionally end with a kiss.

That was more than a minute. Mostly because Brainy left and came back.

He's sure the rest of the Legion don't have this problem.
