Fog. When you breathe there, it clouds the lenses. I'm unable to see. But that's not so bad---you have to deal with that all the time, correct?

I'm not sure where I could possibly begin an explanation. Without sight, I lose a source of information about the world. I won't know where things are. But you deal with that in other ways, right?

[He sighs wistfully, then has to fight back a tiny giggle when Renne curls against his chest. The bespectacled boy carefully eases his back onto the floor, holding his new friend close.]

::Chitter. Twitch of both big ears and the arms come 'round in that way little kids do in that little-kid kind of hug. That's one thing that's not changed about him.
