And Tess plucks some of the load away from Miku. Naughty girl, she really should be over in trigonometry class - not that she cares, seeing as she already knows it. Math, along with languages, is one of the few things she has any inherent aptitude for.

"Careful, Miku-chan," she chides, not missing the opportunity to infantilize her almost-sorta-kinda-maybe friend.

Alessa, on the other hand, DOES know it. "There's place you should be," Alessa says to Tess, though there is a twitch of a smile on the woman's face. "In any case, we have preparations to make. If you want to meet the superintendent, you are more than welcome."
