Hope you don't mind an interruption, Wyn. There's a hall monitor knocking at the door escorting one Samus Aran. The monitor grumbles something like 'found this one trying to get out.'

Samus rolls her eyes at it. It says everything. Finding me once in an entire month, what an accomplishment. Good job, nameless hall monitor. Samus takes a spot in the back of the room. She hasn't been here enough to have her own spot. Ugh, this is such a waste of her time.

"I-- but, wait, who is this?" Angry blonde student, Wyn has no idea who you are or even if you're supposed to be in her class. This is what happens when you take over from the pregnant department head, apparently.

"What's your name?"

"Samus Aran," she's not snippy about it. She's just stating her name. And some how that is so much more intimidating.

If Wyn paid attention to school drama, she might have heard about that whole ordeal with the lacrosse team. The guy's lacrosse team. Samus was carrying the team to a state title until she got kicked off for failing, well, about everything except for gym.

There are advantages to being almost the same age as your students; being fairly in-the-loop for school gossip is one of them. When Samus says her name, Wyn immediately puts two and two together and realizes who the very tall, very athletic girl is.

"You're not on the list." Wyn says, scanning the roll.

Seriously she could just like go. She's not gonna be here if she doesn't have to. Then again she's not gonna be here even if she really needs to.

"Ooh, look, there you are. Have a seat, Samus. Class'll start in a second." Wyn says brightly, totally not scrawling Samus' name at the bottom of the roll in purple ink. Why would she do something like that?

She'll just wait till your not looking to leave. She's a pro at that.
