Stacy Kerrigan High School

To take a break from the seriousness of the nightmare king plot for a bit...

(picture stolen from [livejournal.com profile] clairbourn)

Your characters are now ordinary high school students or teachers. No powers. No nothing. If they're not humanoid, they are now. Go go go go go.

Note: This is mostly actual RPing, but feel free to note backgroudn about your character OOCly

Sokka has been the class clown and resident professional slacker as long as anybody can remember. Thing is, he's actually pretty smart, when it comes to something he's interested in (like fishing!). He could get better than average grades and just doesn't. He sleeps through half his classes and eats in the other half. As for where he is, he's lounging out on the quad playing with that dumb boomerang of his.

Somebody appreciates Sokka's boomerang (not like that, you pervs! She's got her heart set on that dreeeeeamy RotC captain, maybe he'll notice her if her parents ever let her try out -), and now that she's changed out of the ladylike blouse and skirt that her parents like to believe she wears to school and gotten into some pants, Mulan's ready for some boomer-action.

"Hey, Sokka!"

Between the tied-back hair and the flat chest, Mulan's not sure whether Sokka ever figured out that she and the girl who sits behind him in History are the same person . . . come to think of it, a surprisingly high number of students have never seemed to put the two hers together!

"Hey Mulan!" Sokka gave the boomerang another toss, watching as it made a lazy arc, then neatly catching it as it returned.

"What's up?" He never really made the connection, truth be told. He always figured Mulan was just an overly feminine dude.

He may be girly, but he's taken to throwing the boomerang pretty well, so that's at least one manly skill under his belt!

"Not much. Bombed my history test."

An 89. Her parents are going to kill her.

"Can I have a try?"

"Seriously? I got an eighty-three. That sucks." He hands the boomerang over without a word. Of course Mulan can give it a throw.

"Oh . . ."

You can take her descending tone as jealousy, Sokka.

She beams, accepting the boomerang and giving it a mighty heave.

"Yeah! How far d'you think that went?" Mulan waits for the boomerang to return. "If only there was a boomerang team at this dumb school . . ."
