"You don't have to call me ma'am." Wyn says, shaking her head. "In fact, I would really rather you didn't call me ma'am."

He kinda semi-frowns at his teacher, whose bone structure does not suggest that she looks younger than she is. She's in an age bracket where she could, under different circumstances, be his big sister, and he's the youngest kid in the class. How are the rest of them taking this?

"You're telling me." Most of the class is still studiously ignoring Wyn and her efforts to quiet them down-- although she didn't expect much else. She's barely two years older than the older students in the class.

"Okay, stoichiometry quiz, no flashcards!" she calls to the class in general. "Put all your books away and get out a pen, then take one and pass them back." She deposits stacks of papers on the front desks of each row, smiling cheerfully. This is what happens when you don't listen to the nice new student teacher, guys.

Grin. Oh hey, that actually sounds like fun. Allen takes the quiz with an equally cheerful smile.

"And... a hundred for you, Allen." Wyn says, scrawling that number upside-down on his quiz. (What? That was the angle she was at.) No one else was finished yet, so she'll just wander the aisles some more...

"This'll look funny on the fridge." Allen turns it around upside-down experimentally. A 001 will give it some variety, at least.

Wyn sighs heavily, looping around to scribble out the 1 and write another one in front of the two zeroes. "Crisis averted." she informs Allen.
