THE MORNING AFTER MEME!

We haven't done this one in a while, and it usually ends up being cracktastic fun. (I'll just have to remember to turn off comment notifications this time...)

Rules
1. Post as your character, who should be asleep somewhere with somebody else next to them. They don't remember how they got there, and they don't really remember what happened last night. (For extra credit, it could also be a couple of somebodies.)
2. Wake up. Freak out. Rinse. Repeat.
3. Have fun~!

PS- Alcohol doesn't have to be involved, and neither does sex. Use your imaginaaaations!

Er. That'd be my guess, yeah. Must've been a hell of a party...

No kidding. *Nanoha scoots over if Kaylee wants to sit.* And so then we...

...er. *Trails off again. Boy, did it get awkward in here suddenly?*

[ And sit down she does, trying to think this over. ]

...we... [ Apparently, getting even redder was possible. Her face feels like it's about to burn off. ] Oh geez...

*Don't worry, Kaylee, you aren't alone in the horribly-red camp*

...y-you don't think we did, do you?

[ That's. Something, at least. Not the only one wondering wtf. ]

Judgin' by our ah....attire...

[ And she peeks back inside her own blanket--yep, still naked. ]

Um, well.

...maybe there wasn't anything else to sleep in? *She's making excuses, and she knows it*

[ Excuses are good. ] Spilled somethin' on our clothes maybe. [ Yes, this sounds good... ]

That could have happened!

...but, um, it wouldn't explain why we were... you know. *Cuddling in bed together.*

[ Well, if they could figure something to explain the first part... ]

Maybe we were cold or somethin'? And that'd be why there're so many blankets, too. [ On the meatship, though, cold isn't exactly...likely. ]

I guess that could've happened too. *She can't think of anything to disprove it other than that she isn't very cold now*

So... at least we can explain it. But - well, that is... er. What if we did?

If we did...

[ She wishes she could at least remember if they did or not. And what Inara would do right now.

...what would Inara do right now? Maybe she should go with that... ]

If we did...guess it ain't a bad thing, just. Different.

Right. It wouldn't be bad, but... *A sigh* You know, it would be nice if we could at least know for sure whether we did or not.

Besides, it's no fun doing that sort of thing and not remembering.

[ And red all over again. ]

I...don't know what I'd do if I remembered it. [ Maybe it's better not remembering. Right? ]

Ah, sorry - I didn't mean to embarrass you or anything, Kaylee. Just trying to ... look on the bright side! *This has a bright side, right?*

No, it's alright, just. Not somethin' I ever really...thought about. New experience, right? [ Nervous laughter is go ]

Right! That is, um... there's a first time for everything...!

*And then she's just going to flop down on the bed.* Geez, wish we could remember.

Exactly.

[ Kaylee shifts enough to lean back against the headboard. ] It'd make this a lot easier, yeah...

*A pause, and when she speaks again her voice is muffled by pillows*

Urgh, my head hurts.

[ Kaylee looks down at Nanoha's head buried in the pillows. She gives a small giggle. ]

Might hurt less if it was gettin' some air.

No, it's comfy. *Still, she's going to turn her head to the side to look up at Kaylee* This is your room, right? Unless something really crazy happened last night, it's not mind.

[ Comfy sounds really good right now. Kaylee slides down to rest her head on the pillows. Oh yeah, much better. ] This's mine, yeah. Don't use it so often though...most times I keep to Serenity...

Serenity... that's your ship, right?

That's a really pretty name. *And since you're in the right position for it, Kaylee, Nanoha is going to give you a reassuring hug from behind. You're still friends, right - no matter what happened last night!*

That'd be her. [ And she's plenty proud of that fact. ] Name suits her perfect, too.

[ As for hugging, Kaylee stiffens for a moment, then realizes she's...alright with it, and relaxes again. She's kind of glad for it, if it means they're not still freaking out. ]

I bet. You really need to show me around sometime!

*Closes her eyes. Okay, the hug is nice. It's soothing, really, once Kaylee relaxes.

She hopes that the other girl isn't mad.*

Just ask 'n gimme a time, and I'll be glad to show ya around. I think you'd like her--don't look like much to some, but I doubt there's a ship out there could match her.

[ If Kaylee ever does get mad, she has a hard time staying that way. Hugs are a quick way to calm. She's relieved that Nanoha's alright with it. ]
