A deep breath later, Renne positions three fingers on the cuff, almost paranoid of touching flesh or cloth. This paranoia isn't ill founded either, once the temperature slowly begins to rise where his fingers are::

[Nothing's moving. Not even his thoughts, which are deliberately kept quite still. He's taking this very seriously.]

::Which is good. By degrees, the temperature of his fingers increases, and by contact, so does the cuff::

[He trusts Renne completely. He can't allow any anxiousness about being burned to...well, cause a burn. Time to be patient and lay his health in another's hands.]

::He's paranoid enough about this. Very paranoid. Once the cuff begins to actually become malleable, the imp's other hand/paw comes under it in preparation. When the thing liquiefies, he'll be damned if any of that touches Billy::

[Billy worries slightly about Renne's safety at that, but if he moves, it will be disastrous. Staying still, even if it's getting difficult to.]

::By now, he's nibbling his lip just a little. Nervous? You could say that. But, he keeps on, pretty much ignoring the liquefying substance of the cuff drip-drip-dripping onto his free paw. This is Renne here; he thrives off of heat.::

Holding perfectly still to let the substance safely cool, the imp gives a little grin. The clink is a good sound, yes, and there's a distinct lack of cuff where his fingers had touched::
