The Oregon Trail Commentary Meme

Ah, who can forget Oregon Trail? It was that one game in elementary school that was supposed to be really educational or something, but everyone was too busy laughing at the horrible ways their friends died. So let's keep up that tradition with a meme!

The Prince (party leader, since he can't die), Loren, Mei Xing, Miku, and Will set off on April 1st.
April 14th, broken wagon tongue. Repaired.
April 22nd, a thief comes in the night and steals 2 sets of clothes.
May 12th, broken wagon tongue. Repaired.
May 20th, broken wagon axle. Repaired.
May 27th, ox wanders off. Lose two days.
June 3rd, Loren has exhaustion.
June 11th, wrong trail. Lose one day.
June 12th, find an abandoned wagon. Salvage bullets and wagon parts.
June 14th, broken wagon wheel. Repaired.
June 16th, a thief comes and steals 7 sets of clothes. All of the party but one are naked.
June 17th, reach Fort Bridger. Buy more clothes and food.
June 19th, find wild fruit.
June 20th, a thief steals 10 bullets.
June 21st, Loren has dysentery.
June 22nd, broken wagon axle. Repaired.
June 29th, Will has cholera.
June 30th, Mei Xing has a fever.
July 1st, Mei Xing has died.
July 3rd, stopped to rest for 4 days at Soda Springs.
July 12th, stopped to rest at Fort Hall for 4 days.
July 27th, Miku is lost. Lose two days.
July 29th, Loren has a fever. Find an abandoned wagon with 1 set of clothes and a wagon axle.
August 9th, after a lot of hunting with mediocre results, the party crosses the Snake River. The wagon tips over, lose all their clothes, some of their few food, and Loren drowns.
August 19th, Miku has a broken leg.
August-September. Desperate hunting for feed yields poor results, but at least they have some food now.
September 8th, lost the trail, lose two days.
September 10th, find wild fruit.
September 12th, Miku has a broken leg.
September 13th, after floating down the Columbia River, the party arrives in Williamette Valley with 3 people in very poor health, 94 pounds of food, and zero cash.
