DRUNK MEME

The premise is really very simple: The characters posted here are getting drunk at this on-planet marketplace. If your character would normally do so, you need no further instruction. Have fun!

If your character's a teetotaler, though, no worries. All the foods and beverages here at this strange marketplace of wonders are so imperceptibly alcohol-laced that no one will have a clue until it's too late. :3 By then, the fun's already beginning and there is NO ESCAPE. You are all DOOMED to suffer. Or puke. Or be really really super, if you're the type to process alcohol amazingly well.

Eat, drink, and have a party! There's plenty of partying with the locals over here for your characters to join in on. You have the vendors' corridor and a field outside it to roam around in, and for some reason the outdoor field is stocked with enormous gliding kites. This recipe sounds pretty disasteriffic to me.

"Billyyyyyy! Heyyyy! Where's the fire, the party's in here!" Kate stumbled a little as she stopped him.

She patted his shoulder, "It's fun in here, isn't it fun?"
morphitudinous: (Positive)

"No fire, I just---just thought it'd be better out here." Fresh air to breathe is good, he knows. There. That eases things a little.

Billy smiled just a little, gently touching her arm. "I guess you're having fun, right?"

"Well it is pretty out here too. Lookit all the kites!" She then tried jump up to grab one.

"I want to fly and catch one, that be fun too." She pouted briefly at the lack of flying.
morphitudinous: (Wonder)

"You wanna...glide?" They really are pretty, he agrees quietly. It'd be even better if he could see well.

"Find someone sober to fly it," he suggests.

"Mmm-hm, gliding would be good. And aw, hey you sober? I don't think I am." She then giggled a little more.
morphitudinous: (:()

"No. Feeling kinda dizzy," he confesses, collapsing back against the doorframe.

"Is anyone?"

[identity profile] nothawkingbird.livejournal.com 2010-10-25 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
"Whoa, I got you," She reached to try to catch him and stumbled, falling over herself.

"Or not." She glanced around, "Mmm, don't look like it."
morphitudinous: (Repairs in progress)

"Geez," he whispered softly, shaking his head for a moment before aborting the movement in pain. Okay, no. Not a good idea when drunk.

Instead, he planted his feet into the ground and offered a hand to her.

"Thanks," She smiled and grabbed his hand to help stand up again.

"That's real nice of you, you're nice."
morphitudinous: (Adorkable's the word)

[personal profile] morphitudinous 2010-10-25 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Somehow he hauled them both upright, prompting him to smile loosely at her.

"Glad I could help", he says earnestly. "You're charming too."

[identity profile] nothawkingbird.livejournal.com 2010-10-25 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
"Cute too, and you're sweet."
morphitudinous: (Silly)

Billy's face flushed a bright red at that, and not entirely from the alcohol either.

"You still want to fly a kite?"

[identity profile] nothawkingbird.livejournal.com 2010-10-25 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Kate giggled again, "Yeah, let's do it!"

She then added after a moment, "Uh, the kite I mean."
morphitudinous: (:D He's not a pet)

[personal profile] morphitudinous 2010-10-26 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
"Of course," Billy answers hastily, raising the kite in a somewhat wobbly line. Even in this state, he's embarrassed by the innuendo.

He hands her the kite's string and strolls out in front of her, ready to toss the kite up when she pulls.

"I got it!" She yelled and started to run. Though probably hard for the kite to get some flight when her running pattern seemed more zig zag than a straight line.
