•Mistletoe Meme!•

The Situation:
Crew members who were on Stacy last December remember this. Because GLaDOS is a troll, she has positioned little sprigs of mistletoe on the ceilings of areas of the ship. In hallways, at the entrances to quarters, in a department doorway, at a tavern, she doesn't care how inconvenient it is!

It'd be less inconvenient if it were voluntary, but in this case, the sneaky AI has deployed shields around people who wander under the mistletoe that have not been broken by any known alternate method so far. Any attacks against the shield are absorbed. Attempts at attacking the mistletoe get you singed. The only way to be freed from the confines of your little bubble is to receive some form of affection from another crew member---a strong hug will work for the really uncomfortable, but at least a cheek kiss is expected for most. If GLaDOS wants a mouth kiss, though, let her push for one! Species equivalents of kisses/affection are also acceptable.

So---you're stuck until someone comes to rescue you with a kiss, kids. Have fun, thank you for participating in this crew study experiment, and watch out for the nargles!

☀THE WARM AND TOASTY MEME☀
The situation: It is dreadfully cold. Think 'ice cave where all those slash fics are set'.
The goal: Keep each other warm tonight!

☀ STEP ONE: Comment with your characters. One comment for each character.
☀ STEP TWO: Other people reply to your characters.
☀ STEP THREE: Both participants are aware that they should/must keep nice and warm. To do that, you need to bundle up nice and closely, however grudgingly. No, killing your threadmate and cuddling the body doesn't count.
☀ STEP FOUR: Keep 'em warm! Hot cocoa, hot coffee, hot tea, hot mustard, or other suitably warming beverages will be provided if you cooperate.
☀ STEP FIVE: Lulz ensue!

((Basically just a winter-themed cuddle meme, with evil ideas from Shae and Col. Add some cuddle urges in the air if your characters won't otherwise cooperate but you want them to.))

I know we're probably memed out for a while, but this is a simple one that came up---some of you have participated from other games already, so maybe some people from this game have questions for your characters too! It's simple:

1. Go over there!
2. Post as your character!
3. Link to your thread in the comments over here!
4. You, the player, visit threads and harass other characters! Or you could ask for advice, but that's an embarrassment-less path of boringness.
5. Knock yourselves out!

The premise is really very simple: The characters posted here are getting drunk at this on-planet marketplace. If your character would normally do so, you need no further instruction. Have fun!

If your character's a teetotaler, though, no worries. All the foods and beverages here at this strange marketplace of wonders are so imperceptibly alcohol-laced that no one will have a clue until it's too late. :3 By then, the fun's already beginning and there is NO ESCAPE. You are all DOOMED to suffer. Or puke. Or be really really super, if you're the type to process alcohol amazingly well.

Eat, drink, and have a party! There's plenty of partying with the locals over here for your characters to join in on. You have the vendors' corridor and a field outside it to roam around in, and for some reason the outdoor field is stocked with enormous gliding kites. This recipe sounds pretty disasteriffic to me.

Allrighty, everyone, as you might've heard LJ changed its formatting of HTML recently. 'Span' tags no longer work in comments, which means that sparkletext in comments and colors coded a certain way no longer work.

Unfortunately, we coded our previous heart meter memes in a way that no longer works. So we're doing one that will hopefully last this time!

Here's the gameplay rundown:
-Post with your character
-Other characters reply with colored hearts that represent how their character feels about yours
-Respond to everyone else you see
-Make up hearts of your own
-Have fun!
-Optional: type your ratings in text in the event that this style of coding is disabled in the future too.

THE SHIPPING/FANSERVICE MEME!

♥ Respond to other people's characters with who you ship them with! Said ship doesn't have to involve any of your own characters. (not necessarily romantic/sexual, friendshipping and FoeYay-shipping count too)
♥ HOWEVER THAT IS NOT WHERE THIS ENDS; in addition to naming the ship, you can also name some kind of prompt or activity to go with it!
♥ The named characters proceed to helpfully and ICly enact the scenario you have requested, if the muns are okay with that.
♥ Everyone goes home happy! (Except people blindsided by Rules 34 and 36.)

ETA a suggestion: If you get a ship request, comment to let everyone involved in the ship know/ask if they want to do it maybe?

HOW IT WORKS:
-Post with your character(s).
-Other characters post, anon or logged in, describing in loving detail or biting brevity exactly what they would do to that character if given half the chance and no consequences.

examples:
-I would share a cheese sandwich with you.
-I would call you King Stuffypants.
-I would tie you up with fuzzy die and kiss you senseless.
-I would shove you out the airlock with extreme prejudice.

Man, the sounds. The smells. The music. The booze. The crime. The Depression. The Prohibition.

Yessir, the Roaring Twenties were a hell of a time. Your characters get to experience it as well! Everyone is now living in the 1920s, in a bustling metropolis, with no real influence from some strange meatship. Their former lives now reflect their new ones.

A character that was a security officer on board might find themselves as a detective on the police force. Someone who used to be a superhero, punching their problems away, might find themselves as some sort of cop, sports star, boxing champ, or even just a kneebreaker on the streets. Someone who used to sing might be a sensation, or just another nightengale crooning in the smokey speakeasies, as people kick back and enjoy their illegal alcohol. A scientist might be a mad chemist, or even something from the pulps. Who knows?

All that's for sure is that they're here now, living the life they can. Will they run into one another? Will they live their lives apart?

That's for you to decide.
