Friday sexuality meme!
In this meme you plot your characters' sexuality along an axis. On the horizontal, x axis is for lack of a better description, the kinsey scale. This is how attracted your character is to the opposite sex (on the right) and the same sex (on the left), with complete bisexuality being in the middle at 0. The vertical, y axis is the sex drive. The lowest value -10 is an aversion to sex and intimacy. The highest is an insatiable sexual appetite. 0 is a neutral sex drive. More explanations in the chart below.

Anna's chart that doubles as example
As you can see, the x axis does not include homophobia. BZ may be at 10 but Daimon, who is also homophobic, is at 4.5.
The chart is a simplification of my character's complex sexuality. For instance, Daimon's sex drive will get a boost once he starts getting laid. Querl, who isn't in game yet, has moments where he's not interested in sex at all but then his sexual frustration builds up over time until KABLAM WOWZA AWESOME SEX.
In retrospect, I should have made Sofia's sex drive higher (around a 6 or 7) and Daimon closer to being bisexual (around a 3).
Also I apparently need to play more gay/bi characters.
Edit for a more complicated explanation:
Brainy as described above, Brainy is by and large indifferent to sex. However, once his interest has been piqued he can definitely enjoy himself (he has to keep up with Dream Girl). A lot of the time he'll have very little interest and be working in his lab. After long enough, the hormones start pooling and need release so WHAM. We get the situation above. He is more Nura!sexual (or, more broadly, anyone he has feelings for at the time) but strikes me as almost evenly bisexual.
Daimon It feels sort of wrong to plot his sexuality on this chart because it's a complex interaction between his natural impulses, his darksoul (which would be 0, 10), and his evangelical roots. For the moment, his position on the coordinates is above. He is bisexual (which he totally denies) with a strong preference for women. Like Brainy, he's more obsessed with the person he has feelings for. He's not quite Patsy!sexual, thanks to his darksoul and hormones, but he's close. Once he is in a committed relationship his sex drive will go up as he's no longer keeping as close a check on himself. Interestingly, even his darksoul isn't that obsessed with women. It's more violent than sexual (although still very sexual I mean dude, it's the embodiment of sin). He even accuses his father of being more interested in carnal pleasures than in ruling hell with an iron fist.
Cassie is dead. O.K., no she's - er was? We'll just go with present tense for this. She's a teenager flooded with hormones. She likes sex a lot and craves physical contact. At the same time, she's not completely dominated by it and after a few rounds she's pretty happy. She's open to the idea of kissing girls (and has entertained the thoughts about a year or so prior) but it's not really her thing.
Sofia is pretty driven by her hormones, however she does a good job keeping them in check. Once she lets go though, you'd better batten down the hatches and ride out that storm.
James has lost his wife and has shown little interest in anyone else since her death. And now that he's aged, he has less of an interest in sex, which is good since he has no real desire to do anything with someone else.
Loren is more interested in being affectionate than having sex (although she's definitely interested in that). She's very solidly heterosexual.
Wanda definitely appreciates the men, although she restricts herself to just her husband, kthx. She definitely has a high libido but only for her husband. Judging by how they are in comics, I'd say they have a lot of sex behind the scenes.
Kawalsky is pretty self explanatory. Shiva played up his horny boozehound persona but it was still grounded in his actual characteristics.
Big Zero is highly sexual. I mean dude, she reprogrammed a robot to be her slave, including sex.

Zoki's
Billy: Only shown attracted to women, but I can't see him being entirely rigid about it. I might've plotted other Rangers closer to the middle, because everyone seems to have some interesting scenes on Power Rangers. Billy's sex drive, obviously, is slightly below average. Pursuit of relationships gets in the way of SCIENCE, but he's not as averse to the idea of maybe falling in love someday as some. Actually, he might just do it...
Starfire: Her orientation on the show is mainly Robin-sexual, with minor side crushes on other men, but I can see her being adventurous given the right information. She doesn't need action, but once she started it would be a fun game for her.
And just for funsies, here's one with all my characters in various places, past and present.

Probably shouldn't have, wanted to anyway. Troll reproduction is different, gender is meaningless (even though they have males and females), and most of them seem to have no preference. They don't even have a word for homosexuality. :V
I went with -8 just because he's not mature enough for this stuff and isn't totally comfortable with the idea of romance and so on just yet, but that's not a permanent state.

Kang would be at (10, 6.5-7). He's not homophobic, he just... has absolutely no attraction to the same sex.
He's Fonrar!sexual. No attraction to females of other races/kinds, and what with there being only two other female bozaks who happen to be Fonrar's sisters... yeah. Add to that the fact that he raised the females, so they're all like daughters to him.
He was never interested in sex, not having been attracted to anyone else, until his mate, but that changed quick.

WELL. Mine seem to be...all over the place XD
Marco: ...yeah, he's pretty into girls and thinks about sex a lot. Somehow I don't think this will surprise anyone.
Daja: She's very much attracted to women over men - she's kissed boys before, but only when she was younger and before she realised she was into women (they pretty much did nothing for her). As for the sex drive, she's mostly a -3 because she's still heartbroken over Rizu (a girlfriend she had in canon). If she found the right girl, I think this would go up.
Merlin: Yeah Merlin's not on the meatship yet, buuuuut I'm planning to app him next podpop so I put him on anyways! He's had a total of one relationship, with a girl. He tends to go "oh wow pretty lady" for a moment when he first meets them but gets over it quickly. He's also had HELLO SUBTEXT with...pretty much everyone, because he's from Merlin and that's what they do there. So yeah, he's basically pretty close to the middle there.
(and if anyone cares, chart for all chars I have ever played)

Nunnally (-8, 1) wouldn't be opposed to a relationship with a guy if he were exactly the right person for her, but she vastly prefers girls, and is currently seeing a particular female person -- or, would be, if her universe hadn't been destroyed. She's not particularly interested in sex, but isn't completely disinterested either; she's an ordinary fourteen-year-old girl.
Fletcher (1.5, -7) hasn't even reached puberty yet. I put him pretty low on the y-axis because it's just not the sort of thing he cares about, but not all the way down because to me that seems like saying he's completely and totally asexual forever, and he's not. Only until he hits thirteen or fourteen or so. He considers himself heterosexual because in his time period that's just what's "normal", but doesn't really have a strong preference yet.

Katara- She's a little farther less on the scale of heterosexuality because she can see, thanks to the ship, that love has no gender specifics, and what really matters is actually making a relationship work. That said, she is mostly fixated on men, and how she relates on the sexual part of the level is primarily due to hormones and budding feelings she's only barely understanding herself.
Hit Girl- She gets sexuality, sort of. She sees it as something that ensnares adults, and knows that even her own appearance and forages into that zone either makes people uncomfortable or act highly inappropriately. She doesn't really care about sex in any way when it comes down to it, and just prefers messing with people.
Demon Alessa- The hardest to chart when it comes down to it, but as a demon, her sexual nature is at the highest. Obviously sexual gender means nothing to her, as she is far older than she appears. Still, sex is something that can flare up, and she conquers that with carnage and death when she can, preferring blood lust to actual sexual interaction.

Jamie - prefers girls and thinks about them a lot (yes, even with being hung up on Kaylee). His sex drive will go up if he ever actually gets into a relationship, quite possibly by a fair amount. Going by the Companion Chronicles audios, he's destined to have more children then there are days of the week, so. Yeah. :)

Sam: (8, 6) He is pretty solidly straight, and he has a pretty healthy sex drive. If he were still human, I'd have put him at a 10, because at that point of his life, he was kind of a whore, ngl. But he's settled down a bit, and while
mostlymonogamous, he does enjoy sex with his wife.Lelouch: (0, 1) I put him at 0 for preference, because he seems to have attractions to both sexes. I believe he genuinely loved Shirley, and does hold some feelings for C.C. and Kallen, but keeps the latter at arm's length for her own safety.
Suzaku, on the other hand... Word of God says they were in love, and while I can see it
but don't altogether ship itit's hard to completely ignore how he treats the other women in his life, so I'd put him down as bi.ETA: Oh, also, Lelouch and C.C. totally did it to let off steam after battles late in the series. She initiated, and he def needed convincing, but he secretly enjoyed it. If asked, he made some critical comment and rolled over to sleep.
Russel: (7, 1) Russel is firmly heterosexual, fanboying of Ed notwithstanding. He scores pretty low on the sex drive scale because he's just not interested. While he's certainly of the age to be interested, he's got his nose in books. His misanthropic tendencies are a problem sometimes, too.
Yes, I know I don't play Russel right now, I've got him on the brain.

I only have two guys, so I tossed in some of my dropped characters and the next one I'm gonna app.
Leela Bricker -- Bisexual, actually leaning towards being more attracted to women (while she liked Tim Drake and Cale Tucker, the person she found most attractive on the ship was actually Ravager). Highly highly sexual. She just really really enjoyed it.
Querl Dox/Brainiac 5 -- The Reboot version of Querl was somewhat asexual (I often joked he only popped a boner for science), but when he was attracted to other people (and this was rare), their physical sex didn't seem to really matter much to him, so I think he was firmly bisexual. (Very common in his time, setting, and comic). Sex was not a priority, and he actually would've found it slightly unpleasant--he was more about the rare emotional connection with someone.
Aang -- Aang, I also interpreted as bisexual. Know why? Imagine Avatar: The Last Airbender was exactly the same, except for the fact that Katara was a guy. Think Aang would've still fallen in love? If you said "yes," you're right. While not hugely sexual, he'd aged well past puberty with his game history and missing years and was starting to cultivate a slight interest in it, but to him sex was the ultimate expression of love, an action that connects two people emotionally and spiritually--whoever and whatever those two people are.
Superboy -- is someone that many people might not expect to be as open-minded about homosexuality due to his hyper-masculine thing, but he doesn't really have any hangups about liking guys. As far as attraction goes, he is attracted to more girls than guys, mostly because he sure does love boobs, but the occasional dude does catch his eye.
So Kon is someone that's a little right-leaning on the Kinsey scale, but certain situations and certain individuals could get him to consider the same sex. And while he doesn't really think about it much, or do anything about it, he does find some dudes pretty attractive here and there. It'd just probably be hard to explain to Ma and Pa, so he's relieved he's mostly had girlfriends he's been nuts for (and that've liked him back) so far.
Also, he's incredibly interested in sex, but we all knew that.
Megamind -- Megamind is another one of those types that tend to latch onto a person for who they are, but I think he'd lean a little more towards the opposite sex. He's also fairly asexual. Not that I care to speculate on his possible future sex life, but if he did ever lose his V-card, he'd probably enjoy sex, but I really don't think he'd have much of an interest in it, and he'd likely never initiate it. It'd just be that thing that Roxanne likes to do that's kinda fun, but that he doesn't really think about the rest of the time because he's really busy working out the plans for an even BIGGER death laser!
Hiccup -- Pretty straight, but I think in a big, muscular culture like Viking culture, he'd be the type to occasionally find himself a little too impressed by another Viking's muscles, and then try to play it off to himself as no big deal. So fairly straight, but prone to the occasional mancrush that will go nowhere. Might actually lean a little tiny bit more the other way if Viking society didn't frown on that kinda thing, but even then he'd still mostly be staight. Also has a fairly healthy attitude towards sex--interested in it, but not obsessed.
Jaime Reyes -- is a 9 on the Kinsey Scale. He's just...really, really straight, but comfortable enough in his own skin not to be an insecure dick about when other people aren't straight. He also has a healthy interest in sex, less than Kon, but more than Hiccup--and more than he lets on, actually, given how well-behaved he is--but he has a lot of self-discipline and likes being in a somewhat serious relationship before any fooling around happens.
I left out Woody. This is because he has no genitals, you sickos.

Nura Nal-Dox: The easiest of them on the scale (but not that kind of easy). She's interested mostly in men, with a healthy interest in sex, although it depends on her mood at the time if she wants to engage in sexual intercourse. If she's in her element where everything's fine and dandy, she will want it, but if she's upset, she'll more lean towards affection. She's also toned it down quite a bit so that Querl can keep up (plus, she has to give him more time in the lab, so that's a factor as well.)
Laurie Collins: She's still unsure about romance at the moment, seeing as her first boyfriend, Josh, cheated on her, and that did hurt her (although she's taken an interest in Beastboy romantically aboard the ship), but judging by how much time she spends reading those romance stories, and the fact that she turns out to be a romance writer in an alternate future, she definitely has an interest in sex. However, with her, it's more affection preferred than sex. She's heterosexual, but respects the other side of the coin. She'll get a girl-crush for someone she admires greatly, but that'll be it.
Arika Springfield: Well Negi had to be created someway, right? Nagi might be more interested in sex than Arika is, but Arika will engage in it maybe once or twice a week if Nagi is there. If he's not, then she has basically no interest in sex. That doesn't mean she doesn't think about it, but just that she has no interest in having sex with anyone else. Plus, the fact that she has a son (Negi) kinda puts a damper on her sex drive. I think she leans more towards heterosexual, but the Negima verse has a high respect for homosexuality and bisexuality, so, if she was interested in a woman, she'd be fine with it, but since she's married to Nagi, I put her leaning towards heterosexuality.

Okay, since I only have 3 characters and two of them are kids, I decided to put on it who I'm planning to app next cycle AND how Hikari and Einhart are going to be once they're 15 and older (Hikari's around 13 and Einhart's 12 ATM).
Hikari (Current point): She's a young teenager, so she's currently having the hormones start to effect her, but as she's young (and her boyfriend is even younger), she's definitely not ready to seriously consider doing anything yet. However, she's open to having a relationship at this point (obviously), but she wouldn't care what gender the person is.
Hikari (15+ years old): She'll probably be fine with the idea of having sex and would enjoy having it, but it wouldn't be something that she absolutely had to have at any cost, nor would she be willing to do with someone she's not in a romantic relationship with.
Einhart (Current Point): Okay, started with the whole hormones thing too, but with how little plantonic relationships she actually has right now, the idea of a romantic relationship involving her is enough to break her brain a bit. That said, she's more attracted to girls than boys (Hey, she's a Nanoha character).
Einhart (15+ years old): Would still probably be just as shy about sex, although wouldn't be against it with someone she cares about a lot. Also, still attracted to girls.
Andy: Come on, Andy's a normal teenage guy, and pretty damn straight. I don't think he really needs that much explanation.
Will Vandom (W.I.T.C.H. Animated series): Horny Teenager? Check. Lot less shy than her comic counterpart? Double Check. Also mostly straight, but would be open to a relationship with a close female friend if she really knows and trusts them.

Sherry is the easiest to explain. She's not interested in boys except for the fact that they're her friends. Her sexuality will probably be slow in awakening because, let's face it, boys (and girls) aren't as interesting as SCIENCE. I'm sure this relieves her parents every day.
Miku would be fine pretty much not having sex ever. Even though she's in a relationship, the idea of being much more physical actually scares her a little bit. Her values are very much (Japanese) traditional and Miku believes that if she's lived this long without it, then does she really need it, anyway?
Sorry, Steve. This might change in the future, but for now she's fairly set in her ways.Namira has the most fluid sexuality of my group. She is actually (un)lucky(?) enough to have cultivated a relationship with both Alistair and Leliana, though Leliana was mostly by accident. (When your persuasion score is too high for your own good, this is what happens, Namira. :I) That said, she didn't hate sleeping with Leliana, but preferred Alistair. On the ship, this means she spends a great deal flirting with mostly men. However, she is quite affectionate, and really, really, really enjoys sex.
Nehaalista has said on many occasions that she prefers men. However, she's also said she prefers Draenei men. Human men are sort of attractive, but she's so used to seeing barbels, horns and forehead plates that finding this idea of "human" beauty is as little daunting. She tries to keep the fact that she'd like a relationship under wraps, and is sort of an easy-lover type. It doesn't need to last forever, as Nehaalista might die some day soon. In game, she keeps this desire muted and has resigned herself to probably never finding anyone (Draenei).

Vivio: (-3, -5) Now, (-5, 2) years later. Vivio's a growing girl still. As it stands, the hormonial thing is starting to kick in, but not that much. She's shown attraction of sorts to both Fletcher and Einhart, though they're probably misguided things in lieu of her actual friends. Though, since it's Nanoha, we all know that Vivio's gonna swing more towards girls. Like Einhart.
Irma: (-2, -1) Irma's an interesting case. The cartoons show her as the only female lead without a boyfriend. She does show attraction to them, though there are a few instances where she's shown doing one or two things towards girls. Heck, even here, she's shown attraction to both Ben and Hay Lin, so I'm saying she's in the middle for her.
Superman: (8, 0) Superman loves Lois Lane. No doubt about it. He wouldn't change that for the world. As well, he knows that, as a Kryptonian, sex is probably out of the question. I'm pretty sure, though, he used that time after Infinite Crisis to do the nasty then.
Spider-Man: (7, 2) Like Supes, Spidey loves Mary Jane. There's no doubt about that. Unlike Supes, though, sex is part of the perks of being a married man. As well, he's confident enough to play along with various things dealing with the same sex.
Lowe Guele: (2, -7) There's one thing I'll say about Lowe - he's no Ryusei Date. Yeah, he enjoys working with machines and what not, but he's not the type to ignore a woman. That being said, he's not TOTALLY interested in sex (even if there are a few cute women on board), so a lot of his energy is centered on his work.
Sasami: (3, 0) Now, (5, 3) Later. Sasami is an interesting case. This is a girl who's lived a good deal of her life utterly sheltered. Unlike her other counterparts, this Sasami never really had any friends around her age (or her physiology). As well, she's lived in a house with three to five other women, one of them her sister, with said sister fighting with a rival over the affections of a boy who'd prefer to see them as friends. While I would say she has a definite attraction towards the opposite gender (re: Negi) and doesn't feel awkward doing so towards the same, most of it is due to her interesting raising. Give her a few years and she might straighten herself up...

I think that whole Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex thing is more of a joke, although I'd hazard a guess he'd have to be really REALLY careful.
