•Mistletoe Meme!•

The Situation:
Crew members who were on Stacy last December remember this. Because GLaDOS is a troll, she has positioned little sprigs of mistletoe on the ceilings of areas of the ship. In hallways, at the entrances to quarters, in a department doorway, at a tavern, she doesn't care how inconvenient it is!

It'd be less inconvenient if it were voluntary, but in this case, the sneaky AI has deployed shields around people who wander under the mistletoe that have not been broken by any known alternate method so far. Any attacks against the shield are absorbed. Attempts at attacking the mistletoe get you singed. The only way to be freed from the confines of your little bubble is to receive some form of affection from another crew member---a strong hug will work for the really uncomfortable, but at least a cheek kiss is expected for most. If GLaDOS wants a mouth kiss, though, let her push for one! Species equivalents of kisses/affection are also acceptable.

So---you're stuck until someone comes to rescue you with a kiss, kids. Have fun, thank you for participating in this crew study experiment, and watch out for the nargles!

It's some sort of tradition on Earth that two people trapped underneath of mistletoe have to kiss. GLaDOS is enforcing it.

Well, there's no way we can do it mouth to mouth, if that's what that lecherous machine is asking for.

[Smirks and winks, wagging a finger.] Just don't get used to it or I might demand for compensation.

[Like, for one day, switch places with her and wash Toothless when he needs a bath.]

[He kneels down so that she can reach, smiling wryly.]

[Mumbles.] Tch. It's crazy how kissing in general seems to be a habitual thing in my life since I've been with him...

[Human lips are freakishly soft, huh, Kang? Either way, have a gentle, albeit slightly firm smooch to your snout... you know, just to make it count. She'd probably offer a "Happy Holidays" if her world came from that time period. ...Annnd if she hadn't left her guard down and fell in this silly trap. But, well, she should be free at least.]

[He laughs at her mumble and stays still for the kiss, standing up after and giving her a short, one-armed hug.]

Don't worry about it. Watch out for more of the mistletoe; she likes to spring it on us unexpectedly.
