She was all ready for a sharp insult, a quick reply, and then she thought of her own father taking care of her when she was young(she still was but whatever) and how she would do the same.

"Yeah sure, I got nothing better to do," Hit Girl said, trying to sound like she barely cared either way. She adjusted the pillows a little, then went to change the blanket: she would need something warmer. Also, without thinking about it, she brought a towel and wiped the sweat off Sasami.

She could tell herself she was luring her into a false sense of security later.
