"Oh really?" Now this was the exact opposite of Jamie and Billy, which Katara refused to admit she sort of liked. It was one thing to be overly dramatic, but she preferred people who at least acknowledged they were in a bad place first.

But at the mention of throwing up, Katara was quick to grab a new basin for him: throwing up in a used basin just made things worse. "I have a neti pot for that: apparently rotten sinuses have been going around. Would you like some soup? Need your pillow fluffed or something?"

Yes, this is one of those times Katara WANTED to be a little coddling.

[How was he to know that they would abandon him at the first sign of trouble? ...okay, well, he knew they would, hence why he never much cared much about whether or not he upset them. This was just proving him right and justified in his man-whoring ways.]

"I can deal with the sinuses, but if you got something that makes my head stop feeling like someone set off a bomb in there, and something to keep my stomach from doing backflips, you will be my favorite person of all time."

"The head part is easy: there's a variety of ways to help ease a headache. I think I'll try a deep massage for you, pressure points are something I actually learned in my world. For the stomach, we have a variety of cures we can try, but herbs might be our best bet. I think I have some ginger that would be perfect for that."
