Ronnie kissed back, even if it was slightly. It seemed the medicine was starting to take effect. She rolled over next to him cuddling against his side. She didn't want him to be uncomfortable, even if she was smaller.

She smiled with a small yawn and nodded. "I will." She stayed silent for a few moment before a small voice broke the silence. "Billy... please.... don't leave..." After that exhaustion and medicine whisked her away to dreamland.

Boomy had nestled himself in his basket, and seemed to be in recharge mode.

"Not leaving," Billy promised, slipping his arm around her shoulders and pressing one last kiss to her temple. "Good night."

And it would be a good one.
