Reluctantly, the Overlord tried the first one, then the second -- and no sooner was the disease removed from him than he immediately perked up. "Whoa! What was THAT one?"

He looked at the empty vial then sniffed it. "Purification potion," he stated. "Sometimes cures different ailments. Since you weren't poisoned I'd put money on someone cursing you but who knows," he shrugged, "It could have been some weird demonic disease."

He patted the still-large book on one of its corners, a satisfied grin on his face. "But really, all that matters is that you can go back to being the best freakin' Overlord you can be."

He shrugged, "I've done alchemy for a long while, now. Especially the restorative and medical type. If I made a potion that accidentally killed you, well...I guess that means you lied about how amazing you are. Though it would also mean that I learned a new alchemy recipie," he said casually.
