THE
SICK MEME

Post your character, one-ish per comment
They are now, for some odd reason, sick (headache, fever, runny nose, cough, whatever you want)
Another character replies and is struck with the sudden urge to take care of them (bringing them soup, extra blankets, Sudafed, sexual healing, what have you)
???
Profit!

She waited. To be honest, she was actually really happy to be cared for by Billy right now: it reminded her how Renne used to be toward the two of them, and she knew there was some of that in Billy as well as some of it that was all his own.

"I will, thanks," she said, and started to taste the soup. It was tasty for a first try, and she started to eat with slow gusto. "It's good," she told him. "Is this your first time cooking for someone?"

"My first time that didn't end in disaster," Billy admitted, carefully rubbing her back while she ate. Not for a medicinal reason, but he hoped it helped her body calm.

It did actually: that physical reassurance made her relax, and she sighed, eating more of the soup.

"It's delicious, thank you," she said, and despite the sickness, reached over and gave him a hug. She couldn't help it: he'd been a rock for her more than he knew.

Billy hugged her close. He didn't fear getting sick again.

"You don't have to thank me," was his answer. When she drew back, he rearranged the pillows behind her and reached for the medicine. "Here, I have a pill that's been effective for the others."

It's presented with a glass of water.

"Well I'm doing it!" she said weakly, sticking her tongue out at him. She shook her head. "What am I supposed to do with that piece of chalk though?"

The glass of water at least looked inviting.

"It's medicine in a compact pill," he started to explain. "One of the modern developments on my world. If you injest this, it will release chemicals through your body that will alleviate the symptoms."

She could have the balm if she wanted it, but she'd have to rub it on herself or have it applied to the feet.
