So you expect me to sit around? Maybe fish? No, I can think of much better uses of my time and I'd rather not doing it sniffling. Or waiting for it to get worse.

Not gonna get better if you stress yourself around and don't rest a bit, just gonna get worse. A couple hours, and if you're doin' better after a nap we'll see.

[Be like that, Kaylee. Whatever the Doctor has come down with, he's feeling the exact level of listlessness to let her half-carry him back to the TARDIS. He doesn't even sniffle]

[What a violent woman. The Doctor mumbles something about a jacuzzi, which...is apparently in a vague "over there" direction, according to his hand flap.

He seems to be gathering strength for another sniffle. Or at least he's making a good go of it]

[ Except that, you know, Kaylee is probably the least violent person on this ship. Go figure, right?

She directs him toward the jacuzzi, and carefully checks the temperature before ordering him in. Come on, dude, you aren't going to get any better if you keep whining and whimpering. ]

[It's a testament to the power of the sniffle, really.

The Doctor makes a half-hearted attempt to strip down but he's still in his trousers and half in his shirt and braces as he dips into the water, ~~whining and whimpering~~ grumbling the entire time. Once he's in, it's like a cat with cat nip.

Well, if cats with cat nip made a habit of rolling around in jacuzzis. The Doctor relaxes with an audible sigh]

[if the jacuzzi had eyes, it would be making come-hither eyes to Kaylee]

Kaylee makes sure he's settled in alright (and not without a quick Check-Out Of the Frame, because hey, she IS female and not dead), though she's hesitant to join. The Doctor is a bit on the grumpy side right now, and she isn't about to intrude on what seems to be putting him into a better mood.

...oh, jacuzzi, why must you look so inviting to poor, tired little mechanics? ]
