HEY, NO ONE CALLS MARCO'S MOTHER A PEASANT /glaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare

The only thing that annoys Howard more than his godawful homeworld is optimists, because they baffle him. Thus, his only reaction to Hoshi is to be annoyed and confused, and snark at her and try to rain on her parade. In any future interactions he'll do this until she either gives in, or he gets so frustrated and storms off and declares her an idiot. That said, he feels a bit more comfortable with her than other shipmembers since they're around the same age, and thus she registers as less of a threat.

Mai loves Zuko with all her heart, even if he is a big jerk sometimes (part of the reason she loves him) and even if he does fail horribly at social situations. He keeps her grounded right now and if anything ever happens to him, she'd probably be pretty aimless while aboard ship.

Interesting kid. Smart, for a breather, but still a breather. Not sure how she feels about him and his arguments. Slight irritation, easing towards actually liking the little bastard.

For reals: Zuko still feels bad about all that chasing, but they're friends now and Aang saved the world and he halped and they have to get their world back so they can lead it peacefully together already. =\
