She loves you all. Except the people she hates.

Sup book!buddy.

She likes Goliath so far! He's booky and polite and says what he wants rather plainly. She can tell he has some issues to work out, but she can relate to that, especially the "I'm not talking about it therefore it doesn't exist" traits. She thinks he needs to spend more time around people like her so he can get her particular brand of humor and loosen up a bit, so she's double excited to see him in the book club.

Eva's totally Team Momming on Katara. She thinks Katara's a bright young girl and admires that Katara tries to do the right thing, but in a way she's envious of Katara because clearly the A:TLA war was cleaner than the Anis' war. In a way she feels a bit guilty whenever she gets all dark and serious with Katara because she believes kids should be allowed to be kids and that she's being all Harsh Reality on Katara. At the same time, she recognizes Katara as a true friend and genuinely enjoys their conversations.

She's going to be a bit upset when she finds out Katara told other people about Eva's Yeerkification, though.

As she should, although Katara sees what happened to her as A) a mark of bravery to still be there and B) a reason to mostly not trust the Yeerks.

Yeah, Eva just sees it as terrible, terrible luck that broke her a few times over. It has a lot to do with how infamous she was after the war and how much she hates all her post-traumatic quirks. She thinks that it's a weakness that she's can't just say 'it happened, can't change it, moving on now'.

Katara: *quietly loves/admires Eva and tells no one.*

Naturally, Eva thinks that Marco is just AMAZING IN EVERY WAY...RIGHT? XD

SHE LOVES HER BB. SO MUCH.

At the same time, to an extent she feels like now that he knows she's not Yeerked, he might be better off if she were repodded. She honestly doesn't feel like she has a place in his life anymore and that all she does is get into trouble and stress him out. Because they're both so totally repressed it's hard for her to find her place anymore. And she's in a bit of an odd spot emotionally because she was within weeks of giving up and grieving him from her point in the timeline, and now he's back, and she can't help but feel like he's dead in her timeline and that this is her chance to right things, and make up for asking him to reinfest her in Visser (for which she will never, ever forgive herself).

As much as she loves him she's often annoyed and/or saddened by the paranoia and anger projecting he does, but she's never going to call him out on it because she knows where it comes from and doesn't feel like she can assert authority. I think she also tends to idealize how he was before she got Yeerked because she longs for that time period back so much. But she loves to joke with him oh so much.

Oh god, they have so many Issues, sob (Also it will be interesting to see how she reacts when faces with Pre-"death" Marco as he actually was...)

He bugs her because she can't figure him out. And yet, she finds him charming. She's generally operating under the assumption that he's well-intentioned and just eccentric and as such, she'll agree to do weird things with him, but she never really lets her guard down.

Oh she loves her some Kang.

It seems like, out of everyone on the ship, Kang's the only one Eva sees as both an equal and a friend. Her other regular associates are mostly young people that she tries to mother, and people she doesn't have much in common with. Whereas in Kang she sees a lot of kindness and a certain pragmatism she respects, as well as a kindred loving, wounded parent. She likes that Kang never patronizes her and lets her work things out on her own accord, and feels flattered that he trusts her enough to be honest with her about the Second Life thing.

Why not, right? :P

Eva actually empathizes a lot with Rachel, since Eva's got some serious anger issues too and takes great pleasure in breaking things and fantasizing about punching people in the neck. But she also worries about Rachel, because lol, loose cannon. Also she thinks Rachel goes over the line with Marco sometimes and that gets her mommy hackles up. But ultimately, she probably likes Rachel more than any of the other Anis besides Marco and Jake.

Well Sam doesn't like you either. Except when he does.

Eva doesn't trust Sam as far as she can spit, and she's still kicking herself that she let the Visser thing slip. In a way, she resents him because he's got a perfectly civil Yeerk, which she thinks gives him a distorted view of how the Yeerks largely affected their hosts on Earth. Then again, she also doesn't entirely trust that Sam is in charge, no matter how many people go 'oh lol Schmuz is such a wimp'.

With that said, she does appreciate the care he shows for Tom, and her impression of him as a person is that he's perfectly polite, mostly professional about the whole demon-killing thing, and rather intelligent. She enjoys talking to him, even though she can tell that he's avoiding some subjects anyway. They probably won't be close unless Schmuz is absent, and even then she doesn't know if she could be a friend to a voluntary controller, but her impressions of his personality are good.

She's wary of Dean, but as she's said, anyone who looks out for Tom is on her good list. He also got her pop culture reference, so that's an automatic +1 for him.
