One of Howard's two friends on Spacey Stacy! Howard likes Megamind - he doesn't feel like he can be himself around MM, but he can be a slightly closer approximation. Being a bit of a dweeb, Howard enjoys that Megamind is too. At the same time, he feels like Megamind's a bit naive and idealistic, and fully expects this 'hero' thing to blow up in MM's face.

I know they had only one, but Howard's opinion on Hoshi?

The only thing that annoys Howard more than his godawful homeworld is optimists, because they baffle him. Thus, his only reaction to Hoshi is to be annoyed and confused, and snark at her and try to rain on her parade. In any future interactions he'll do this until she either gives in, or he gets so frustrated and storms off and declares her an idiot. That said, he feels a bit more comfortable with her than other shipmembers since they're around the same age, and thus she registers as less of a threat.

It'll definitely be interesting to see him try to rain on her parade! Though, he will have to try super hard with that -- it is nearly impossible for her to get down and it's even harder for her to not try to make friends with people, so she's probably gonna try again on Howard.

Zou! One of the two people on the ship Howard enjoys spending time with so far.

Given that a huge portion of his time on Stacy he's felt that no one will take him seriously because of his age, the fact that Zouichi seems to believe him capable and intelligent puts Howard at ease around him (even if their first encounter was Howard flailing and yelling "what do we do someone tell me what to do whaaat"). Howard generally trusts Zouichi, though not with his own moral failings, since he pictures Zouichi as a pretty stand-up person and would rather keep Zouichi on his side. He's thrilled that he's finally found Zouichi's sense of humor and could see himself growing pretty close to Zouichi, especially since he thinks Zou's pretty smart in addition to being a zombie-killing BAMF.

A bright scientist who gives away free video game systems and, as far as Howard can tell, seems pretty good-natured? Howard must find a way to manipulate this precious resource for all its worth!

Luckily for Howard, probably fairly easy, though watch out--Stephen used to teach teenagers and while his B.S. detector isn't 100%, it's still sort of sharp.

Then again, if it's for morale, he'll probably go along.

Howard wouldn't know morale if it slapped him in the face wearing a party hat. He'll probably straighten up a bit when he learns Stephen taught, though.
