Eva must know how much of a wreck Kang thinks she is. Because she's paranoid like that.

Eva is... one of the people on the ship Kang is closest to. They just click really well, and understand each other. He knows she's got issues, but also that she's strong enough to work through them, and he's there to help her if she needs it.

He has a lot of respect for her, and she's definitely starting to edge into family status.
