The command is simple: your character has to kiss them ASAP. Face-sucking is the goal, but other kinds of kisses are cool as well if it's too gross or if you have an even better idea! And no one has to do anything.

Aw shit.

"Oh, hey Ruffnut, what's up?"

Ruff shrugged idly, "I unno, sup wit choo?"

Awkward explaining time was up with her.

"Well, there's this crazy thing, where you have to go around and kiss people in this. As it turns out, I was totally told to go out and kiss you."

Might as well be blunt about it.

Blink blink.

Another blink.

"Kiss?"

Not that she sounds like she's unhappy with the idea just, confused. As if she's never even heard of it. Though obviously that's not the case.

Damn, this was awkward enough without Ruffnut making that face that always seemed to make her laugh a little: that totally clueless "gwaah?" look.

"Yeah, kiss. And I know its kinda awkward after the whole Hiccup thing, but I'm not gonna make fun of you afterward, ok? Viking's promise."

And to show she was serious, she took out her butterfly knife and made a small cut to her palm, enough so Ruffnut got the message.

Ruffnut's eyes widened even more and her cheeks took on some blush watching the act. It struck a cord very firmly with her.

"O-oh um...OK." She agreed still some apprehension. Her stomach did a flip flop and a twist but...well she'd do anything for Mindy.

Hit Girl regarded the girl. Kissing Sasami had been one thing: she was a small girl, easy going and had virtually no issue with a kiss anyway. Ruffnut, she could tell, had her first kiss with that asshole demony thing in Hiccup, and that had traumatized her a little. Just because Hit Girl talked casual didn't mean she didn't notice shit: that had been rough.

"Gimme your hand," Hit Girl said, and made a small cut there, before joining hers with her own. "Now come here, ok?"

Ruff's muscles tensed at the cut but she didn't make a noise accepting it and pressing the cut to Hit Girls before moving closer. "OK...just um...tell me what to do I guess." She mumbled having trouble looking directly at HG.

Mindy chuckled, shaking her head. "Dude, its a kiss, don't over think it or you'll just feel weird. Just reach over and..."

She took the kiss, about eight seconds, hands touching Ruffs. There was an unspoken understanding: they were fighters, they did not cheek kiss like pussies and they didn't take things for granted. Even Hit Girl knew this was territory that Ruff was awkward in, and acting like she didn't want to would make things worse. They needed to look at each other after this, remember there was nothing they couldn't overcome.

I mean, they were the Overlord's disciples for god's sake.

She released, and took Ruff's hand, mingling the blood again. "See, that's what a kiss should be like. Don't forget it."

Despite having more of connection to lightning then most...Ruff had never felt electricity like that.

Her eyes were unfocused when the kiss ended "Y-yeah..." She muttered dazed, her hand holding secure to HG's...because if she let go she might fall over.

Kissing apparently was a great weakness of hers when it was with someone she cared about. What little mind the viking girl had seemed to have shut down.

Hit Girl got that: she saw the way Ruffnut had been how unsettled that encounter had made her. She knew enough that emotions were something a viking kept to themselves, and when something rocked that foundation it had a staying power strong enough to make those hallucinations mock that. Hit Girl didn't believe in psychiatrists: if people couldn't evaluate their own level of fucked up, they needed someone who would see it.

"Don't fall over viking," she teased, punching Ruff playfully in the arm. "Don't forget, you and I still have catching up with each other. So let's see...after this, I'd say I'm a good fifteen points ahead of you. You're gonna have to train some more to get where I am!"

But there was also time for the teasing that would get Ruffnut back where she needed to be.

That shook the blond girl out of her stupor for the most part "R-right." She shook her head to clear it, "You're gonna be playing catch up before you even realize I've caught up!" Her words were jumbled though, tongue tied.

"We'll see about that," she said, grinning. "We still have training to do if we're going to be good enough to kick that demon's ass that we fought earlier. I don't know about you, but I don't like losing, even if its in the Sensoriums!"

She paused. "And hey...don't forget about the promise, ok? I'll be looking out for you, so I'm holding you to the same thing. Don't let me down."

Without a word Ruff simply took HG's hand, the one that was still healing with her own cut hand and squeezed it firmly.

"Duh."
