"Eh. Fair enough. I thought they were a for-fun item... at least, that's what I heard they were used for."

"Well yeah, because Negi is dumb sometimes, but I have my own ideas about why I'd use something like that. There are way more important things than dating, after all."

"Whatcha got cooking in that devious mind of yours?"

"You know that apprentice of yours? I may to go drinking with her in a few days. So I'm gonna need the pills."

"You're also my apprentice now, we had that talk."

She laughed, but didn't look unappreciative. "Yeah well, you know what I mean. She and I will have an appointment in that tavern sooner or later."

"And you guys are gonna get smashed together? I totally want to watch that happen."

"Nah, that wouldn't be a good idea," Hit Girl said. "There's kinda going to be a reason she and I are drinking that much to begin with. I mean, I don't even really like alcohol."

"What's the reason?" Of course he had to ask.

"Well, ran into Hiccup and Astrid during their stay at the marriage village. Went over to talk to them abut talking to Ruff. Didn't take a genius to figure out why Hiccup had that look on his face."

"Oh." Pfft, Astrid could do better. "So Ruff's moody as hell, huh?"

"Not yet, because she doesn't know it. I'm not gonna tell her. She has to talk to Astrid and Hiccup herself anyway. But when she finds out, I'm gonna be there to pick her up again."
