[Jono's not usually the cuddling type. And yet, here he is.]

Huh.

[Well, Jamie seems fairly unbothered by the idea, at least? Have a companionable arm slung over your shoulder, Jono.]

Jono! What are ye doing here?

[Mini-mental flail. Why are you in Jono's personal space, Jamie?]

Dunno 'ow I ended up 'ere. [And yet, he's leaning against Jamie now.]

[What is this personal space of which you speak, Jono? Jamie knows of no such thing.]

Huh. That's a wee bit odd.

[As is the fact he's feeling very snuggly right now, and can't really seem to resist it. Sorry about that.]

[Is it normal for people of Jamie's time to be so up close and personal? Or is this just a Jamie thing?]

Eh. Guess it could be worse. We ain't got mistletoe or nothin', or the nutty AI tellin' us what to do.

[Pause. Even an awkward pause.]

Errr. We don', aye?

[Clearly Jamie hadn't thought of that, and his head immediately cranes upward to check. The rest of him doesn't move, though, because...this is oddly nice.]

No. There's nothing like that mistletoe up there. Besides, if GLaDOS was behind it, she'd say so.

Hello, aren't you sweet!

[pretty girl returns your human cling wrapping. This is awesome y/n?]

Oh, hello miss. I...

[*blink blink* Pretty girl, returning clinging. Well, hey, that's alright! Definite y, and he will settle in happily.]

Er, thank ye.

[Without warning she leans in, slow enough that Jamie can give her his cheek if he wants to, and kisses him gently but deliberately.]

[That's a wee bit strange. Why is she...oh! Jamie's eyes widen for a moment, but once his brain catches up, he returns the kiss, just as gently. The urge to cuddle is strong, though, and his arms slip around her so he can do that as well.]

[Enjoy your sweet lady-kisses, Jamie, because Nima sure is.

She breaks away to smile at him.] I'm Nima, by the way. What's your name?

[She hasn't let go of his waist yet.]

[Absolutely no complaints on this end, nope. He gives her a slightly lopsided looking smile when she pulls away.]

I'm Jamie. I'm sorry if I seemed a bit surprised. I'd not been expecting...well, this.

[Interestingly enough, he also hasn't let go. In fact, he snuggles up a little closer to her.]

[Still a little glum but slowly getting better.]

How's it going?

Aye, well, not bad, really. I've just about got everything moved into the TARDIS.

[He sees that glum, though, and goes over to lay a hand on Billy's shoulder.]

How are ye doing, Billy?

[That always helps, but it's not quite enough this time. Billy finds himself coming a little closer, his hand tentatively settling on Jamie's arm.]

It's still hard, but I'm trying my best to function. While I'm working, it's not such a problem.

[Jamie's arm shifts, so that rather then his hand resting on his shoulder, his arm's draped over it more companionably.]

Look, is there anything I can do? I...I just don't like the idea of ye working so much.

[Billy sighs, leaning on Jamie just a little. Why is this so comfortable?]

If I'm not busy, I become trapped in my thoughts about all of this. It isn't a fun position to be in.

[Strangely, Jamie doesn't seem to mind. He does shift slightly so he can talk a little easier. Never mind that it means he's getting dangerously close to invading Billy's personal space.]

There's got to be something else ye can do to take your mind off of it other than work, though.

[A blush appears on his face. He has some ideas, actually, but they aren't the wisest of coping methods...]

Do you think training would work? It's been a while since I've performed a kata.

[Billy looks comforted. Just for today, Jamie, invade his personal space all you want!]

[Well, depending on the ideas in question, that point could be argued...but it's none of Jamie's business, anyway.]

Aye, it might, at that.

[Would help if Jamie actually moved, though, wouldn't it?]

Or...there are other things, right?

[No Jamie don't move, he likes you where you are. Maybe even a little closer...]
