Hello everyone!

As you may know, applications open once again on June 1st. That's in...precisely two weeks! New crew members abound! They don't actually get to play until July, but it's never too early to start thinking about characters you may want to apply for. If you already have your idea, great!

If not, well, sit back and allow us to provide some suggestions.

For this...is...ENABLING NIGHT! ((Offer does not expire at midnight. Enable as long as necessary.))

Use this post to tell us why the canon you love and character you want are so spectacularly fantastic that they deserve another chance. That this ship will wither and die without their vital, life-giving presence. That they are worthy of being picked up and applied for.

How can you accomplish this? However you like! Essays extolling their virtues, your very best pictures of them, your favorite music videos, EXTREME ADVERTISING, and whatever else you have are all welcomed here! Let's make this ~fun~.

Ben 10 All Seasons

That's right, I'm putting out a tiny not-quite wall of text for Ben 10 characters. Ben and Gwen need someone, like a Kevin. And really, if something like THIS happens in canon...



I mean seriously. What's not to love about this guy? If this is BEN ALONE imagine what the rest of the cast'll do.

Kamen Rider

There's an entire movie celebrating all 40 years of Kamen Rider, so let's go with some more to add to our cast!

First up, Ryuki cast. (http://kamenrider.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Ryuki_Riders) We've only got 1 of our 13 Riders, and we could always use more. Or Yui or Shiro. Seriously, drive Ren nuts.

As incentive, Ren is currently de-aged thanks to the Melting Clock. Can you say "blackmail"?

As well as I'm throwing up my own hat for anyone from the latter half of the Heisei Era, such as Shotarous, Terui, Akiko from Double, as well as bringing back people from Decade like Tsukasa!

And lets not forget the wonderful romp that is OOO. We could use an Eiji and Anhk totally.

And lets not forget the second american adaption of a Kamen Rider series, (and in my opinion the better one) Kamen Rider Dragon Knight the adaption of Kamen Rider Ryuki.

We only have Chris Ramirez/Sting, but I would love anyone from the cast (http://kamenrider.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Kamen_Rider_Dragon_Knight). While I'd prefer Len, Kit, or Maya, anyone would seriously be fine. Chris is lonely.

So you're looking for someone to app? Have I got a cast for you!

For any of you who don't know much about Firefly (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrAS20mNZUE), think Cowboys In Space with more Chinese and awesome, and not as many aliens as you're inclined to believe (re: none). We have several characters running around already (Wash, Kaylee, Jayne, and Inara), but there are five more people on the crew, and a long list of wonderful side characters. There are also only fourteen episodes (and a movie, if you're feeling like it), which makes canon review nice and easy! They're also chalk-full of beautiful dialogue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uMAKtXlXf4).

Serenity Crew Members
~Captain Malcolm Reynolds (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPRlHwwVIug) - Soldier in the war (on the losing side, not to be confused with the wrong side), now Captain of his own ship. Dry sense of humor, very Take Charge.
~Zoe Washburne (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pr11K6akTMk) - First Mate of the ship, and Wife to Wash. Fought in the war alongside Mal. Zoe and Mal have a similar sense of humor, though Zoe is much more the Strong Silent Type. She's also just plain Badass Woman.
~Shepherd Derrial Book (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUQ9zsd1nn4) - A missionary who joined up with the crew to experience the world and spread The Word. His background in-series is a mystery, but he knows how to fight and handle weapons... One of the Serenity comic books, "A Shepherd's Tale", gives his background.
~Simon Tam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JutAnhS0tB0) - Are you medically-inclined? Do you enjoy medical jargon and being smarter (and more awkward) than most people around you? Simon might just be the guy for you! (that, and Kaylee would be most pleased if you apped him~)
~River Tam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNkcK2toExY&feature=related) - Yes, she's crazy, but she also kicks ass (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVgR11CEEao). 'Nuff said.

There are also a ton and a half of amazing side-characters, and for anyone interested in any of the crew members or the side dudes, I would be more than happy to give you all of the resources you might need. Most episodes can be found on youtube, and there are some on hulu as well. There's also an awesome wikia (http://firefly.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page) that's packed full of information about the time, history, characters, planets, and ships. Good stuff, if I do say so myself :)

Not inspired yet? =D Not a problem, what about a rich and impressive lore that dates thousands and thousands of years. A world full of conflict and mystery? Dragons, Gods, different dimensions, different worlds, shifting realities, advancing technology mixed with magic, this world has such an immense variety of things to work with, that chances are there is something that you might really like!

This is an amazing and rich canon to work OC's from, just like Dungeons and Dragons. And I myself am passionate about it, having a slew of over 40 oc's from this canon alone. OC's of course, don't make up all the awesome that is the Warcraft canon; no no no, the amazing canon heroes in the world are legendary level!

Each faction leader, and heroes of the world of Azeroth, on their own, have intense history behind them but talking about them wouldn't do them justice. They're all too amazing to put into words in their own ways!

Aside from having a huge fanbase, a vivid and rich storyline and amazing characters, but before WoW I have to say that the art of Machinima was pretty unheard of, and the quality of good machinima was, well, laughable? But WoW made machinima a respectable and amazing medium to honor your favorite games! Here's a few examples that I love love love!









As you can see, everyone has their own way to tell their stories, some more extreme, some more casual and quiet. Warcraft's world is open enough to allow great possibilities for roleplay, and story writing. Everything has a line of course, but the lore is open enough to allow more creative writing and fun stuff to work with.
