Tommy and the conclusion of my begging

And finally, it's the guy you've been waiting for, the king of kings, the Ranger of Rangers....TOMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Oliver. Tommy Oliver, the Ranger of Many Colors.

On the surface, he seems to be a clone of Jason. He's a martial arts lover and an equal match for Jase, but two things set him apart: unlike the tight-knit members of the Jason/Trini/Zack/Kim/Billy group, he's been a loner for a while. Second...his Ranger career started on the side of evil, where he was badass and terrifying. But then came FRIENDSHIP and everything was magical and okay, he dealt with some guilt issues and power glitches, and he continued to be silly and forgetful. And to always leave his communicator at home. Fool, Billy built you that for a reason, don't just meander into a fight at the last second! But that's what Tommy does.

Later, he eventually grows into his role enough to become leader of the Power Rangers when Jason departs. He stays in that leader role through two more switches of power, eventually giving up his Red Turbo Ranger power in the summer after high school graduation. Then, seven or eight years older, forgetful young Tommy returns...as Dr. Thomas Oliver, paleontologist, high school science teacher, and mentor to a new generation of teenaged Power Rangers. The Dr. O version of Tommy is far less forgetful, far more responsible, and far more spiky-haired, but he still has a tendency to get himself into difficult situations. He's cursed that way.

Interesting facts about Tommy: He's the longest-serving Power Ranger in the entire series, he likes a woman in pink, and he sure can eat a lot of food. The way to his heart is through his stomach, ladies.

And...that's about it. There are more ways I can describe their badassery, but...these teens are Billy's dearest friends, his lifeblood. He's largely moved on by now, but it would mean so much to him to be able to hang with them one more time. To hug them, laugh with them, show them how much he's grown since they last saw him. ...and maybe show off his girlfriend. And they'd totally fit in! Each of the Rangers has a special skill that can help, and they can each teach some kind of class to the crew.

The point is, these six are a fantastic team and they belong together. Not that it'll ever happen, but even a small reunion would be beyond awesome. Fantastic. Totally wicked. Morphenomenal!
