Hello everyone!

As you may know, applications open once again on June 1st. That's in...precisely two weeks! New crew members abound! They don't actually get to play until July, but it's never too early to start thinking about characters you may want to apply for. If you already have your idea, great!

If not, well, sit back and allow us to provide some suggestions.

For this...is...ENABLING NIGHT! ((Offer does not expire at midnight. Enable as long as necessary.))

Use this post to tell us why the canon you love and character you want are so spectacularly fantastic that they deserve another chance. That this ship will wither and die without their vital, life-giving presence. That they are worthy of being picked up and applied for.

How can you accomplish this? However you like! Essays extolling their virtues, your very best pictures of them, your favorite music videos, EXTREME ADVERTISING, and whatever else you have are all welcomed here! Let's make this ~fun~.

DRACONIANS OH MY

Dragonlance is about the world of Krynn, one of the campaign worlds for Dungeons and Dragons, and it's chock full of elves and dwarves and kender and dragons and magic and gods.

Don't worry, you don't have to have any knowledge of the game itself to play.

ANYWAYS. While I would love any character from it, the ones I most need want are fellow draconians, specifically Fonrar and the kidlets. I'll go ahead and give some info on a bunch of them, though.

- Fonrar, Kang's mate, is one that does not put up with shit. When the males wouldn't teach her and the other females how to even use a sword, she decided FUCK THAT we'll learn on our own. She's smart, and tough, and just plain awesome.

KANG MISSES HER LOTS AND REALLY WANTS HER AROUND. ;___;

- Slith is a nosy, sneaky bastard, and he's totally Kang's BFF. He was the 2IC of the regiment, but when Kang retired, he was promoted to Commander, and pretty quickly became the General of the entire Teyrian army.



Just look at him. Badass. And he has two mates (TWINS), every man's dream.

- Gloth is not the brightest of draconians, but he's not a complete idiot, and is a competent officer and engineer. He's deathly afraid of snakes.

- Hanra and Shanra are affectionately known as the sivak twins, the only two adult females so far, and they constantly bicker with each other over the smallest thing. It's just how they work, though. They give Slith lots of headaches.

- Granak is a HUUUUGE sivak (easily over nine feet tall), and he is the Minister of Information. He's pretty neutral about most things, and very loyal to Kang. He's also a badass fighter, like all draconians, and he once survived a javelin to the back, between the wings in combat, yelling about getting that damn toothpick removed.

Kidlets

After asking the other mods, they said it was okay for other people to app Kang's kids as older than a month. So, any age between 10 and 18 (they reach maturity at roughly the same rate as humans) would be lovely.

I'll leave a description of Kali up to TC, but here are the other three. I can give you all of the canon info there is on draconians, as well, and I'll let you fill in the rest of the details. She's done wonderfully, and I have no doubt several of you could do the same.

- Brevo is the type that thinks bravery is the absence of fear and will sometimes go out looking for trouble to prove himself. He's also /very/ protective of friends and family, and even though he fights all the time with Yana, he does care about his sister. He's the biggest and strongest of the bunch

- Yana is a little troublemaker, very headstrong, and complains about Brevo constantly, but she cares about him too. She looks and acts a lot like her mom.

- Grosk is a bit serious, and very, very blunt at times. He's very literal-minded. Like... he's the type that will ask those very personal questions that everyone else is thinking but knows better than to actually ask, and not get why people don't want to answer.



Come on. Look at them. That is one awesome mother and group of kidlets. You know you want to app one of them.

There are four short stories, and two novels, and some info in the sourcebooks.

I think we have The Dragons of Krynn, The Dragons at War, The Doom Brigade and Heroes and Fools. My brother and I split the series basically in half and those were probably his so I'd have to do some digging to see if we still own them somewhere.

I will look around, and see if can find them. I'd probably need help for the rest though.

Kali is shy, but that in no way means she's anything of a pushover. She's likely to hang back and watch and in many ways is Brevo's polar opposite. The watching daughter, the last to commit herself to any action, but no less brave because of it. She is the child that is watching her siblings backs in a fight and knows exactly the actions needed to be taken to come out on top. She loves her siblings and her parents very much and favors distance weapons to up close and personal. She's clever and resourceful and was born with a dream of flying she will never realize.

To add to the Dragonlance love, there are that I would love to have around.

These two come mainly from the the books, if any one is interested I've got the e-books for all four:

-Linsha Majere, Bight's wife, is a highly skilled and tough woman, a descendant of the heroes of the lance and the adopted mother to eight brass dragon wyrmlings.

Needless to say Bight/Crucible misses her greatly.

-Varia, is a companion of Linsha's, an exceptionally talented and wise talking owl.

The Eight:

Eight brass dragon wyrmlings that both Crucible and Linsha adopted after rescuing their eggs from the hands of those who would use them to devious means. As brass wyrmlings most are quite gregatious and curious by their very nature.

They are mainly from the short story "The Eight" From the Dragons of Time anthology.

Ever wanted to play a young dragon, here's your chance!



All brass dragon's have many traits and abilities in common, among them including flight, fire breath and a natural ability to talk the ear of even a kender among others, especially when there is more than one Brass in the room at the time. Even at four years old the wyrmlings are quite intelligent indeed.

At the time I've taken Bight from, and the time of the story that the Wyrmlings feature in, they are each four years old, and already four to five foot long each. If someone was interested in playing them I would be happy for them to be taken from a little while after as well.

Ashfall The 'oldest' of the eight, the only one of the eight that has as yet tapped into his telepathic abilities. Acts somewhat as a leader to the little group at times.

Fumarole Is one wyrmling that has taken pride in her appearance and concerned about appearing proper in most things.

Smoke is another of the female wyrmlings, her form slender and her scales a more gray-toned than the other the other wyrmlings.

Caldera is the nurturing soul of the eight, a natural knowledge and interest in such things comes easily to her, and it was such knowledge that helped her and her brothers and sisters to save Linsha when she had been trapped in a cave in.

Windstone is something of the worry wort of the lot, one to look at a plan and voice concerns about the dangers that it might include.

Firestream is as his name suggests a more hot headed wyrmling, he's one that is more than likely to use brawn before brain in most situations.

Sulfur is as gregacious as the other wyrmlings if not more so, though he has learned a bit more the ways of formal speech and diplomacy than the other seven wyrmlings.

Eight is the 'youngest' of the lot and the only one to keep the hatchling name Linsha and Bight had given him. Eight has quite the tendency for getting into trouble
