Nima is vaguely aware of this, and vaguely wondering if giving affection to someone who responds to affection with fear and anger, just to see if enough of it will push past that fear and anger, is harmful or not.]

Not at all what he was expecting... well, ok, crazy sex is not only what he was expecting, but relatively normal some nights back home. He just wasn't expecting to end up anywhere near this particular crazy.
