It was a pout, half playful, and she held him closer, stroking his hair and down his back lightly.

Kaya didn't say anything, but there was no mistaking that slightly smug look on her face. "Well, you bring it out to begin with, give yourself some credit."

She circles his chest with her fingertips, then puts her arms around his back. "I'm glad we're still here, and that it was you. It isn't a dream."
