This is DJ Breakfast Club, hacking your Friday night...

Truth or dare! Exactly what it says on the tin.

1. Post with your character or tag another puppet.

2. Your character is playing truth or dare with their thread partner.

2.5 The catch is, no matter what a two-faced scoundrel they usually are, they have to abide by the rules of the game. Which means they answer honestly, or have to complete a dare!

(demi-rule) Please get mun permission if the dare involves another puppet.

"Dare." Like hell Soren's giving anyone information about himself.

"Yo, I dare you to magic your junk into a chick's tightness again. That was hilarious first time."

Ugh. Cad.

"You're asking me to do the impossible. I don't know any spells that can change my form like that -- I'm a mage specializing in offensive attack spells."

"Eff ay, man. That's bull." But he thinks of a better idea. "Dare you to challenge me at knocking a hole in a brick wall."

A young woman, in her early twenties, streaks by!

"Daaaaaamn, dawg, I'd like to slap that love honey on my bread, you know?"

Soren looks back at the woman with poorly-disguised distaste. "Did you just dare me to dare you to do something? But very well."

He holds up a hand, summoning up an icy whirlwind that blasts away at the nearby wall, sending brick and mortar flying.

"...ha!"

"That's straight-up bombin', man. But check it while I wreck it, a'ight?" Punchy flips down his goggles, winds up his arm and slams Puppet through a wall. The explosion is actually fairly large, although unfortunately there isn't enough wall left to judge who did more damage.

Soren frowns. "I checked it, but I believe that it was I who best wrecked it."

"BS, man! I wasted that wall!" And he totally believes it, too! "Okay, you dare me now."

"Hmph. I dare you to string together five sentences without murdering the English language."

Ha. Take that, Punchy.

"Bite me. Suck it. Fuck off. Kiss my ass. And my English is fuckin' fresh, dillhole."

Probably going to have to redo that dare.

Hahaha. Soren sooooo won. He looks smug.

"A truly masterful attempt. Do you wish to continue? Perhaps I can give you some pointers."

"Do you wish to keep being a jackwagon? I talk fine, yo."

Soren snorts. "No need to be a sore loser. I suppose I should have gone easy on you."

"I don't know why you're such a straight-up prick about my lingo, man." Punchy shrugs. He's heard it before but it still ticks him off. "Truth or dare?"

"Because I can never understand half of what you're saying. Truth."

"Not my fault you ain't ballin', dawg. Why you such a prick all the time? Mama give you the drop?"

Soren's demeanor turns suddenly, utterly cold. "If you're asking whether she abandoned me, the answer is yes."

"Actually I was asking if...nevermind." In a way, Punchy's almost jealous. Soren gets to overcome cool obstacles. Punchy gets to listen to his parents talk about tax initiatives over breakfast. That doesn't mean it's not sad. "Sorry, yo."

What eva what eva Punchy, Soren doesn't feel like playing this game any more! Besides, it's not as cool as you think, being the son of an insane despot and a desperate laguz royal stripped of all her power.

"Your apologies aren't necessary. It's in the past. And now, if you'll excuse me, I believe I have matters to tend to in Medical."

"Yo, man, hold up!" Punchy sprints up to try and block Sore from leaving. "Dawg, you can't just walk if we ain't cool. I'm sorry. I was stupid. If you need to talk about it or something..."

"Talk about it?" Watch out, there, Punchy, or you'll get frostbite from that tone of voice. "What's there to talk about? Do you think my situation is unusual? Unique? Where I came from, there was a fresh crop of war orphans every few years. Now, out of my way."

"I..." Well, Punchy wouldn't really know anything about that. He didn't grow up in a war. He grew up when all the wars were won and glamorized as fantastic stories about heroes and villains. No one ever mentioned there were orphans!

He steps aside. "I'm sorry."

His only answer is a curt nod. But that's pretty much the best you can expect from Soren, barring Ike's guidance about social niceties.

He steps out of the room and disappears down the hall.
