Truth or dare! Exactly what it says on the tin.

1. Post with your character or tag another puppet.

2. Your character is playing truth or dare with their thread partner.

2.5 The catch is, no matter what a two-faced scoundrel they usually are, they have to abide by the rules of the game. Which means they answer honestly, or have to complete a dare!

(demi-rule) Please get mun permission if the dare involves another puppet.

"Was never important. I grew up on a five foot chain in a junkyard. After that, life was either war or recovery.... war involved commando training, guns, black ops, tank piloting... not a lot of time to read. Recovery... was usually strippers and booze. Wasn't about to waste any of that time with letters and numbers."

"Jerk. I hate the taste." But he knocks the shot back anyway, coughing as soon as he's swallowed it. "What the hell's with all the naked people onboard? Truth or dare?"

"Are you seriously that shallow or would you ever get with an ugly chick?" Not that Howard cares if Chase is shallow. It's not his business beyond curiosity.

"True that. So, seeing as you ain't had a lot - what's your idea of luxury... basically, how would you be set up, if things were however you wanted 'em?"

"Easy. Private island. Jet. Only people allowed on are people I like, so like, three people. Orchards full of fresh fruit whenever I want it, surround-sound flatscreens in every room hooked up to cable, and a pile of candy bars and canned soup so big I could fill the basement of my totally awesome mansion with. Fresh Hawaiian pizza every day with root beer. And a security system that fries anyone who tries to get close."

Clearly, he's thought about this a lot. "Truth or dare?"

"Sure, being enough of a bastard that my first wife didn't think she could trust me. And, who knows, eventually she probably would'a been right."

"Yep, just the two times. Alright, seeing as you're a master scrounger and all, if you could find any one thing, for yourself, or someone else, or whatever, what would it be?"

"One of those magical plates that refills itself and never runs out of food." And then he'd probably sleep with it curled to his chest and a gun in his other hand. "Truth or dare?"

"Huh, yeah, Jack could make something like that. The stuff it made was horrible, but it never ran out of it. Hmm, truth."

"Food is food. After some of the stuff we lived off in the FAYZ, I'll be shocked if I still got taste buds." He taps his nose, thinking. "Why'd you get married a second time if it didn't work first time?"

"Cause unlike the first time around... Julie and I get each other. We're both black ops vets, we like a warm body to sleep next to, the sex is great, she can hold her booze, and neither of us expects the other to be faithful or nothing. Half the time, she brings chicks home with her. Worked out well."

"Your relationship is weird," Howard says. Like he'd know. He wouldn't. "Truth."

"All good relationships I ever seen are weird... except Kain and his chick. Don't know how they make it work.. but other than that, two people don't usually click less they're weird in ways that work together." Close as he comes to sage advice.

"Biggest things you actually miss from home?"

If Howard thinks about that, it can apply to friendships too. Certainly to his own odd friendships.
