Reviving a meme for great justice! Quoted from the original post:

It's Transmigration 9 Studios. No, the name doesn't make any sense, except that the owner, Stacy, has owned eight studios before this and they've all crashed and burned. Which feels so great for the actors and their sense of job security, let me tell you.

As soon as they're done with their scenes, the characters stop playing their roles and make it real. The scripts are tossed aside, and they can relax now that the cameras are off of them.

What does this mean? Well, perhaps Billy is an actual college graduate, who is disgusted with the scientific inaccuracies and techspeak mumbo-jumbo of his character. Perhaps Kang is a fit Japanese man in a rubber dragon suit. Maybe Renne is a former theater actor that speaks with a posh English accent? Who knows, perhaps Nehaa is a conservative Catholic who finds her role as a stripperiffic space goat horrifying! And it might an ongoing joke off-screen that Leon can't fight for shit, Steve's actor stands in for him during action scenes.

Reimi smiled and hugged her close. The pair had really worked together well and Reimi was a softening blow to Sasami's pride. At least she was friendlier now.

"So how did your day go? I was busy filming fight stuff."

"Hoi, Natsumikan," teased Raito as he plopped down behind her and began to massage her shoulders. "You look so tired right now."

"Oi, I still remember how to do the Laughing Pressure Point from Decade," shot Megumi right back. She leaned into the massage with a smile on her face.

"Apparently it was written into my script to do more training scenes last minute. You know how that tends to be."

"Yeah I know I know," snickered Raito. "I don't think Tsukasa ever forgot the sensation of you jamming your thumb into his neck."

"Are they pushing for a new Nazca level?" inquired Raito.

"Raito~!" Megumi called, waving her hand. She met up with him and sat down next to him.

"You know, I swear you're picking up habits from your character," she teased, taking one of the complimentary cookies that was on the table, taking a bite of it.

"Maybe we should ask to put it in for at least a scene," Megumi joked with a grin.

"Yeah, they are. But, I don't wanna argue with them about it, so I just go with it."

"Don't give the fans any ideas, that's what they WANT," snickered Raito.

"Eh, it'll happen eventually but with the big fight arc coming up, I don't blame them for pushing the envelope."

"Oh, really now?" Megumi said, poking Raito in the head playfully.

"Neither do I. Do you think they're purposefully keeping us in the dark about it or no?"

"That is something I've been meaning to ask. The writers who control our scripts, are they on something when it comes to making stuff up for us?" questioned Megumi.

"Probably. I haven't really seen this kind of lunacy since my own series," admitted Raito. "Otherwise I'd be convinced some of the american writers got a hold of it."

"Hey I haven't read this one yet," protested Raito. "And I kind of wanted to to be honest."

Mindy chuckled. "Hey, I admire you, you know? With me, I got my dream character. However crazy she gets, its within her character. Yours, she was there longer, and got to have all this character development. That, and she has this whole family thing going for her. You can't help but like Sasami now: hell, I like her now, and my character admits it too, though begrudgingly.

"Good characters usually ARE stubborn for awhile."

“I figured!” Kaya replied, grinning. She eased up though: she didn’t want to hurt Matt for being too overzealous. “I’m glad you could make it! I hoped that you were still getting more work: I tried to keep in touch, but I’ve been getting swamped with all of the stuff I had to do.”

She looked genuinely sympathetic. “How’s the leg?”

"And seriously, who USES a sword this big," he continued to grumble, tossing the massive Zin'rohk prop down as well. It bounced off the couch and tumbled gently to the floor. At least THAT only weighed a couple pounds.

"I know, right? What was with putting me in a dress of all things when my character attacked the Liar Dopant?" Megumi complained, a pout settling on her features.

"Ah I'm kind of just running on residuals right now," admitted Matt. "My role in WITCH has been cut down severely, especially since after my accident."

He thumped it one. "Healing. But I'll walk with a limp for a long time."

"Eh," she shrugged. "Before I was here, I was doing writing pretty steadily. Bigger paychecks, but not as often - so it evens out. I thought I'd try something else for a change."

She looked up at him wryly. "So if this doesn't work out, I go back to writing. Until then, I just do the best that the script lets me."

Then he handed her a package -- a white box, undecorated except for a closed envelope taped on one side. "Anyway, someone left this at the desk for you. I thought I'd bring it by."

"Or they have something," she dropped her voice and wiggled her fingers in the air, "really, really horrible planned for me, and are keeping me around for that."

The muffin was almost gone; she dropped the last, and let the sparrows have their way with it. "It hasn't been too difficult so far. You and Howard had the harder part, running around that sandy soundstage with the animatronic dinosaurs. I get to be the clothes horse."

She rolled her eyes. "At least they don't have me whining for my AI quite so much. Let's hope they never cast him."

"At least you're getting some screen time!" Vivio said, moving to join him. Sacred Heart was still perched on her head, but really wasn't moving.

"It seems like they wanna push me to the side a bit. I don't mind it, but I worry sometimes."
