TWO TRUTHS and a LIE

HOW IT WORKS.

1. Post your character!

2. Your character will post two truthful statements and one lie to someone who replies! F'r instance:

1. I use both wind and earth magic.
2. I went to a private school for intellectually gifted girls.
3. I've been to different worlds before.

3. Once the truth is revealed (either by a right guess or two wrong ones), the second character responds with two truths and a lie of their own.

I've never met a pet monkey before. That sounds nice.

Then...you always wanted to be a hero?

It was! I wish he were here, so everyone could meet him...

Right! My grandmother was a superhero, too, and I always admired her. I loved to watch the news to see heroes, as a kid!

So it's your turn now, right?

I would've liked to! And that's great. I'd like to meet her too.

Right. So about myself...

-I have sisters
-I once caused a plant overgrowth accident in the common room
-A professor once considered me his understudy in smiling

Oh hm. The third on seems kind of odd, but I guess odd things could happen at a Wizarding school and also you have a nice smile.

So I guess the second one?

I did overgrow the common room in my first year, actually. Professor Sprout gave me a lesson in plant-trimming I'll never forget.

Actually, I'm an only child.

Oh, I guess that makes sense! I just assumed you were always the really responsible type, though I guess everyone makes mistakes. Not to imply you're not responsible or anything! I really don't mean it that way, I just meant that you'd take care, but no one's perfect, I guess...

Okay! You'd never mentioned having siblings, but family hasn't really been discussed that much, and it sounded kind of believable, so I wasn't sure, that's all! I guess you're pretty good at this.

We used to test each other in the dormitories at night. Eventually I learned to make up mundane lies, but you should've seen my first few attempts. They were completely obvious!

Oh, that sounds like so much fun! I just thought, intuitively, that maybe I should try and do something not that out of the ordinary, though I don't know how well that worked. I've never actually really played before, so this was a new experience. It was fun, though!
