The "Ask Characters Questions" Meme 2: The Sequel!

Is this really necessary? You've already done one of these— oh, fine.

Post here, and answer questions that are asked of you. Enjoy yourselves.

Interested in ever returning?

Fourth wall breakage yay!

I personally would like to, there's so many things I haven't seen or done or people I haven't spoken to...

But while my player says in one way she'd like to as well, she also says it feels like it would be a 'cop out' to have me come back after dying like that, so currently it's not an option.

>:3

Well, it wouldn't be the first time I'd resurrected an AI from molten scrap and half it's backup. Not that anyone cares to ask me. That's my excuse for not offering, if you're interested.

Mine thinks that as time passes, that feeling will diminish. An interesting twist to a future plot, or so she says. Sadistic gods.

Well the other reason might be that it's more difficult now the rest of me has been ejected into space.

Mine says if that happens we should poll the comm like a reality TV show. ....the idea of Stacy being a huge, interdimensional reality show is actually rather disturbing. I refuse to be made to do any cooking or pointless tasks.

I think the phrase is 'We shall rebuild him, better than before'? Tch. Funerals are a waste of time.

That would be...interesting.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-11-20 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
...I didn't think it was a waste. At least not as far as all the others who died were concerned. And I appreciated what everyone was trying to do for me as well.

I think you mean 'horrifying'. I've seen those things, they make me wonder how humanity managed to achieve the average intellect level they have in my time.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-11-20 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
The point of having people who fight is to assure that the general populace has the freedom to be as stupid or otherwise as they please. From that perspective, it's truly a waste of time to rail against the more inane results of my work.

Funerals are for the living, not the dead.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-11-20 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I agree that the living benefit more from them, but I think you miss the point. A life, and the loss of one, is worth more than an 'inane result'. People are worth more than that. I think funerals are a way of realising that fact.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-11-21 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe.

I suppose the end result of this is that you're more human than I.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-11-21 10:36 am (UTC)(link)
I doubt it. For starters I'm actually Coluan, so it's a pretty safe bet that you're more human.

...and I know that isn't what you meant, but I don't see why we need to rank anyone as more or less 'human' than anyone else.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-11-21 05:00 pm (UTC)(link)
That's kind of you. But unnecessary.

[Quite suddenly brusque] Call me if you ever get permission not to be dead.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-11-22 10:58 am (UTC)(link)
I'll... keep it in mind.
