10 Things You Didn't Know

That's it. It's Sunday, I'm bored, it's time for a meme that I stole from [livejournal.com profile] xi_rpg.

RULES
1. Post with your character
2. Post ten things that you believe are true about your character that people might not know - nobody cares if you use headcanon, it's up to you.
3. Watch as others do the same; comment IC or OoC!
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

Jamie:
1. Is pretty short - around 5'6" or 5'7".

2. A bit shy when it comes to anything romantic, and will tend to not actually admit if he has feelings for someone - unless, like Victoria, it's well after the fact. Kisses would be...awkward.

3. Is perfectly willing, however, to protectively hold onto someone in a scary situation.

4. Talks more on the ship then he did with the Doctor, because the Doctor tended to cut him off when he was speaking.

5. Does not like being cooped up in enclosed spaces.

6. Has a bit of a sweet tooth.

7. Believes in the Phantom Piper - legend has it the the Piper appears to a McCrimmon when they are about to die. The first time he saw a Cyberman while feverish, he believed it was the Piper.

8. Actually rarely dresses in full 18th century regalia while with the Doctor, usually wears more modern clothes with his kilt.

9. Can repair as well as play some musical instruments, such as the bagpipes.

10. Believes completely that the Doctor needs him.

1. Really? I got the impression that he was taller---must be because Patrick Troughton was short too. That would make Jamie and Billy the same height. *notes*

8. And I love him for it.

Dude, since Allen is an OC, technically all of this is headcanon.

1) What attracts him most to women is intensity, drive, and badassness in some field. His first childhood crush was on Xena, his college girlfriend made business and law her bitch, and he had a huge thing for his evil boss due to her intense scientific skills and drive. The woman he eventually married was determined from childhood to become a cop, right wrongs, triumph over evil, and in the process ended up resembling his first crush more than she ever suspected she would. While he's not one to put on a pair of blinders for a wet t-shirt contest, what keeps him coming back is intensity in some form or other.

2) He graduated high school at age 12. He obtained his first Bachelors' at age 15, his Masters at 17, and immediately began his quest for PHD candidacy while taking on a prestigious engineering job at 18 - and this was all before half his brain was a computer.

3) His mom sort of left when he was 6. By "sort of" I mean she realized she wasn't happy in her marriage, divorced his father, and moved to the other side of the country to follow the hippie art circuit. She left Allen in his father's custody because she acknowledged that a stationary, stable life would probably be better for a child genius, but kept the baby when she became pregnant a year later. Intellectually, Allen is not confused about this scenario, but it bothered him for a while.

4) Flakiness is his least favorite feature in any sort of person. He's forgiven his mom for it, and loves her, but isn't sure he likes her very much.

5) He has two half siblings - Amy on his mom's side, and Daniel on his dad's side. Daniel, his younger brother from his dad's second marriage, is 19 and wants to be a doctor. Amy is 23 and to be honest, I have no idea what she does. Maybe she doesn't either.

6) Allen broke the geek stigma by being something (only something) of a ladies' man in his late teens. He would visit his friends at their schools or universities, pose as a student from whichever school he wasn't at, and rope smart girls into tutoring him in subjects he already knew. By the time they saw through the lie, he would have already figured out their interests and how to hook them with information he'd learned from scientific papers on relationship psychology (screw Cosmo).

7) He's adventurous now, but spent his childhood being a basement dweller, apart from a few months of traveling with his mother and camping trips with his dad. He was always interested in the notion of adventure, but his focus on knocking education out of the way kept that something to do "later" until the point in his life where "later" became "now." Which it did.

8) He's been shooting since age 10 - under careful supervision of his cop father.

9) He always wanted to learn how to pilot a helicopter.

10) His favorite smell is bergamot. He doesn't know why, but doesn't really care.

1. Despite ragging on Tim for liking Enya, Superboy secretly likes the Zesty Girls, DC's version of the Spice Girls. He justifies this with the fact that they're hot babes. He also has been known to listen to gangsta rap. You haven't really seen hilarity until you see a three year old cloned alien white boy grown rapping about bitches and ho's.

2. Superboy is picked on at school, because of his nerd persona. It doesn't cut into his self esteem at all, but he really, really wants to pull a "I'M A SUPERHERO AND THEREFORE I'M AWESOME! AND MY GIRLFRIEND'S WONDER GIRL! SUUUUCK IT!" kinda thing. He hates having to keep a low profile because being a superhero is more natural to him than faking he's a normal person. Superboy is who Kon really is, Conner Kent is the mask. He also doesn't grok most average teenagers, mainly because they know all the social stuff he doesn't, but also tend to worry about sort of petty things he doesn't.

3. After a particularly busy week, when he was really hungry, he once made the owner of an struggling All-You-Can-Eat place burst into tears. He felt REALLY bad, when he realized just how much he'd eaten for nothing, and paid for three more people that weren't there to compensate.

4. He's lived in six different places in the last five years, and been to just as many (if not more) funerals. Superheroing's a rough life.

5. Back home, he ordered the T-shirts he did his superheroing in off the internet, and just wore Levis. Cheap costume replacement, FTW. It definitely beat the days of going through leather jacket after leather jacket. He is more comfortable in spandex than normal clothes though--for years, that was practically all he wore.

6. Kon is sort of fascinated by children, because he's in a weird place where he's an adult, comparatively, and still something of a child (it's been a busy five years, but he still is just five). In some ways, this means he's just as immature--or even more immature--than some kids, but he also has been through a lot in a very short amount of time, so he tends to settle on an "I'm a kid like you, but I'm an older kid and I know stuff" kinda role. Even if he doesn't really know how to deal with them, and he doesn't get along with all kids, they tend to gravitate to him though and eventually warm up to him like the kids on the ship did.

He really wants to know what childhood is like, because he didn't get 16 years to dick around and play and be taken care of--he had to grow up from infancy to near-adulthood in five years.

Aside from just liking kids in general, he has a mega softspot for disabled kids, and has done a lot of charity work doing a "Make a Wish" foundation kinda stuff with them. Back in the beginning of his heroing career, he did a lot of stuff just to look good, but that was one of the things his agent Rex set up that he just...really enjoyed and felt good doing. Also, to someone who was born with the ability to fly and smash through walls, that these kids wouldn't be able to walk and still have the outlooks some of them had was incredible to him, and this is part of why he doesn't make a big fuss during the times he's powerless.

7. There were 12 "failures" before his cloning attempt took. Kon saw them all in tubes at Cadmus, and they weren't pretty. One of them died with him by his side. Despite being a clone, and pro clone rights, Kon is vehemently anti-cloning, and part of why he worked at Cadmus was to keep an eye on them for Superman to make sure they'd stopped cloning people.

8. Kon was technically U.S. government property and not recognized as a human being back home, but they knew that if they ever laid a finger on him, they'd have one pissed off Kryptonian staring them down with heatvision with the Titans, former members of Young Justice, the JLA, the JSA, and allll their friends at his back. In fact, when Superboy-Prime showed up and beat him half to death during the Crisis, that's close to who showed up just to save him. The titans, the JSA, and the Doom Patrol. And the Flashes...

Aside from the fact that DC heroes just tend to DO that for each other, Kon's kinda a popular guy.

[identity profile] so-pregnable.livejournal.com 2009-12-07 08:42 am (UTC)(link)
9. Kon thinks Batman hates him. Like haaates him. What with the whole Bad Influence on Robin thing, dating Cass (Batgirl, yes, he's dated two girls named "Cass") and getting her into trouble (and nearly getting her killed), and oh, the whole cloned bioweapon thing... yeah. In return, he resents Bats a little for the Brother Eye debacle, since that nearly tore all the heroes apart, and meant that it was he, Cassie, and Nightwing against Superboy-Prime, Alexander Luthor, and like a kajillian OMACs. By themselves. After finding out he dies in that fight, even with the coming back part, he sort of resents Bats for the Brother Eye thing. Just a bit. He wouldn't throw it in his face unless Bats was throwing something in his own face, but the resentment is there and he tends to avoid Batman on general principle and reassures Tim all the time that he won't turn into Bruce, that he'll never be Batman someday.

10. Kon likes to have his hair petted. He's a very tactile, gregarious, touchy-feely person. He gets more uptight with it around guy friends so as to not look wussy, but he likes hugs and stuff, not just receiving, but also giving them. He's the type to throw an arm around someone's shoulders when talking to them a lot.

11. He really is pretty vain about his appearance. He's not shallow, and doesn't judge others on appearance and would love Cassie even if she got her face burned off in a fire or something, but he does think he's a fine specimen of manly sexiness.

12. He has broken up with girlfriends to date someone else (although the person was manipulating him mightily), but he would never, ever cheat on a girlfriend, despite the roving eye.

13. If Cassie died, especially if it was violently or his fault or something, he'd probably never date again, because it would be the second girlfriend he's lost that way. After the first girlfriend, Tana, died right in front of him (to get to him), he was insanely protective of Cassie, to the point of shoving her out of the way of stuff when she was just as invulnerable as him. He'd realized he was falling for her and couldn't stand the thought of losing her like Tana. He's backed off since then, but he still frets about the idea of her getting hurt a lot.

14. Most of Kon's underwear back home had little S-shields on it.

1. The Seer is currently 792 years old.

This age was not achieved through supernatural means.

2. "Seer" is not his real name. (This should be a "duh" moment, right here)

3. The reason he hides his eyes are always hidden or covered whenever he appears to the crew?

He has no eyes.

4. Despite his affinity for things esoteric and supernatural in nature, the Seer is quite a skilled warrior and tactician, having personally fought in hundreds of wars over his long life.

5. The Seer has killed a countless number of innocents in his quest to fight the forces of the daemonic, just as all of his order have.

Though this does not cause him any grief or suffering, he still takes the time to enact a ceremonial funeral rite for each of those he kills when he has the chance, as he feels it only "proper" to honor the dead.

6. His favorite tea is Calixian Blue-Leaf, an unfortunate rarity, especially on the meatship.

7. As a young warrior, the Seer gained the habit of drinking to a fallen comrade's honor after every battle after he had spent some time amongst the "common" soldiers.

Since then, he has gained a fondness for high-grade liquors, especially since his physical body has the benifit of being immune to the effects of alcohol. It is a vice he indulges in somewhat rarely.

His favorite liquors include high-grade Amasec and Theosophist's Philtre.

8. Related to the previous one, he only drinks low-grade, bitter distillations of Amasec when toasting the dead.

His reasoning? The harsh, bitter taste reminds him of the pain of loss.

9. While his motivations are mostly pure, the Seer is extremely manipulative. However, he only uses his skills in manipulation in attempting to persuade people into doing the "right" thing, whatever that happens to be depending on the situation.

He reasons that it is better to trick someone into doing the right thing right away then spend unneccessary time persuading them normally.

That, and he lacks a lot of skills in interpersonal relations.

10. Best for last:

The Seer is the only member of the crew to willingly and knowingly board the Transmigration 9.

For what reasons, only he knows.

01. Jeka is one of the few Legionnaires who isn't vegetarian. Orandians are actually incapable of properly digesting vegetables and soy products, although her now-mutated physiology may allow her to do so. She refuses to test this because she still really, REALLY hates what happened to her. She says a prayer for the animal before she eats, even though the meat eaten in the 31st century actually consists of cloned cells.

02. Her mother died when she was thirteen. She left home a year later and spent the year after that traveling around the United Planets. She contacted her father and younger brother regularly to let them know that she was all right, and always left whatever planet she was on almost immediately afterward. As the anniversary of her mother's death approached, Jeka heard that the Legion was holding try-outs. The rest, as they say, is history.

03. Her mentalism is actually closer to empathy than telepathy; but she can perceive words and images if she concentrates. Furthermore, she can only do that to one person at a time. However, she can hijack the senses of a large crowd and show each person something completely different without so much as breaking a sweat. She finds the disparity unsettling, and tends to be a bit freer with listening in than she possibly should. This is intended as a continuous reminder that the people around her are real people who rely on the accuracy of their senses, so she shouldn't sprock with them for no reason. She's not above playing with her illusions, though.

04. She doesn't find humans/humanoids attractive. It isn't that they're ugly, she is quite capable of discerning who is and is not attractive as those things go, she simply doesn't see the draw herself. It's not just humanoids either, she's really only attracted to other Orandians.

05. She wishes that Candi (Monstress) had been around to help her through recovering from her transformation, because she knows that Candi would have been able to understand at least part of what she was going through. She hopes to one day be as proud of her new appearance as Candi was able to become of hers, but she also doesn't think that will actually be possible.

06. She likes 'dressing up' with an illusion when she goes out for fun, mostly to keep a low-profile/keep the staring down. She prefers real accessories though, especially hats. Visiting Zuko's tea house was the first time she's 'gone out' since her transformation.

07. Reep (Chameleon) is the only one allowed to call her 'Princess' or 'your Highness' or anything like that. Everybody else gets quick instructions to call her Jeka or Sensor instead. Likewise, she's the only one allowed to call him 'your Holiness'. He's also the only one she's ever allowed to see her break down (granted, part of that break down included her lashing out at him, so it's not all as sweet as it sounds).

08. Her boobs serve no purpose. At all. They're not even particularly sensitive, which is why she doesn't wear anything to support them. And the only reason she didn't shave all of her hair off was because it helped her hats fit better.

09. Brainy whipped up a pair of cyber-arms for her when she joined the Legion, and putting them on felt like being untied after being bound all her life. Having them felt natural. If there's one thing she doesn't hate about her transformation, it's having arms.

10. Prior to her transformation, she loved performing and being, if not the center of attention, not far from it. She still retains some of her showmanship, but now prefers to hang back and not be stared at.

BONUS!
11. Jeka's voice quality has actually been commented on in the comics. It's a husky alto.

1) Before getting caught up in the world of tights, Jean-Paul Valley was studying computer science in Gotham University.

2) He doesn't remember his birth mother.

3) He's actually a test tube baby, modified with animal DNA to give him greater strength and agility.

4) He claims that his name is the same as his father's, but apparently, the series proves otherwise.

5) His biggest failure, as well as his driving point, was being beaten by both Killer Croc and Bane while taking up the Mantle of the Bat, the latter which called him out as fake.

6) Though it's still debatable, the main reason Jean-Paul is insane is because he never properly filtered out the Scarecrow's Fear Gas. (In a set of sidestories, Jean-Paul as Batman encountered the Scarecrow alongside Anarky. Scarecrow injected the two of them with the gas in a liquid form, infecting JP... only for the System to take over and snapping him out of it.)

7) The suit he wears? He designed and built it himself. Modified it twice as well. All thanks to the System.

8) Has met Superman twice as Batman. Once after the Man of Steel returned from being dead and again during the Bloodlines incident. Both times Supes realized that JP wasn't Bruce.

9) Is actually awkward towards women.

10) Prefers working alone.

5) His biggest failure, as well as his driving point, was being beaten by both Killer Croc and Bane while taking up the Mantle of the Bat, the latter which called him out as fake.

Huh. We... actually have something sort of in common. When I faced the Joker, he called me a fake. So, I guess I can sort of understand why you're so obsessed with being Batman, since it happened to you early on. It happened to me after I'd been Batman for a few years, so I was able to brush it off.

I don't forgive you for attacking me just because we have something in common, though.

1. He still has a fondness for gummi bears.

2. While Leon has zero problems blowing things up for Great Justice, and will do so without hesitation, he doesn't enjoy it at all. He considers it an unpleasant, but necessary part of his job.

3. He was once clinically dead for about three and a half minutes. He will not discuss that experience. EVER.

4. He hasn't told anyone that he joined the government in exchange for Sherry's freedom. He never will. As far as anyone else is concerned, he joined of his own free will.

5. There are very few things he's willing to hold a grudge over.

6. At this point, he genuinely does consider Sherry to be his daughter. Anyone who suggests otherwise will get their jaw broken.

7. When one of his nieces was sixteen, she had an emotionally abusive stalker ex-boyfriend. When Leon found out, he came home and threw the boy through a second floor window, among other things. Said ex never bothered his niece again.

7a. Additionally, the legend of her crazy Secret Agent Uncle has kept a few boys away from his niece. Leon has no problem with that.

8. Leon has been trained to gather information by hook or by crook. He has lied, stolen, and tortured, to gather intel.

9. He prefers to listen to smooth jazz and classical music. It helps him relax.

10. He does prefer having Hunnigan as a remote partner, than having someone there with him on the ground. He likes it because its good to have someone feed him information, it gives him one less person to worry about, and though he doesn't realize it, having someone keeping an eye on him via satellite is comforting to him in an "angel watching over me" kind of way.
governmentninja: (Choke a bitch)

[personal profile] governmentninja 2009-12-08 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
11. On paper, Leon is part of the United States Strategic Command, which is a subdivision of the Department of Defense under the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He'll generally introduce himself as either being from STRATCOM or the DoD. In actuality, he's part of the Executive Office, and his immediate superior is the President of the US. No one else is allowed to give him marching orders.

12. He is on a first name basis with the current President. One of the many perks that come with saving his daughter from terrorists.

13. Despite all he's done, Leon does NOT consider himself a hero or a role model, and is hugely uncomfortable with the idea of someone looking at him as such. He has a career kill count that's hit five figures (the vast majority of which were infectees, but there are several hundred who were not. All killings were still justified, though); as stated earlier, he has lied or stolen to gather intel; he as tortured people, quite gruesomely in fact; and he's even done a handful of assassinations. None of which he enjoyed, but he's still done it. Either way, he doesn't want to be glorified for it, and he wouldn't want anyone to go down that road.

14. Leon doesn't think highly of the superheroes he's come across. He can understand the desire to want to help out, and wanting to do so without working directly for the government. That's fine. But the fact that there's zero oversight, no guidelines beyond "killing is bad", and no age limit drags the whole thing down several notches in his eyes. There's no order or structure to it, and no one seems to stand for anything greater than their own moral code. It's like they're playing some big game with their villainous counterparts and they make up the rules as they go along.

Additionally, most heroes come across being either arrogant, reckless, insane, or a mixture of all of three. They flip off whatever laws as they see fit, seem to disregard law enforcement rather than try to work with them, violently insert themselves into situations as they see fit, and they hide their identities to escape any consequences of their actions.

15. His general coldness is something that came about as a result of him realizing that he was about five seconds away from losing his mind. He's far more screwed up than most people would realize at first glance, and struggling to hold it together. By blocking out his emotions as best he can, every decision he makes becomes a conscious one, and one he accepts full responsibility for, regardless of how he intended it to turn out. It's easier for him to deal with his life that way.

16. Despite somehow becoming the ship 'Dad', he generally doesn't consider himself fatherly. He's mostly stumbling around blindly with Sherry, and is quietly terrified that he's going to screw up horribly with her.

17. Leon has a six-figure salary. Most of which gets plugged into an IRA. He intends to retire, or at least be transferred to a different organization towards the Graham's Presidency.

18. He has a small apartment, which, outside of a tv and a bed, has virtually nothing else in it. He's never there anyway.

19. Being with Claire is the first relationship he's been in since Raccoon City. He has dated a lot over the last several years, but any shot at a relationship falls apart fast when he has to go halfway around the world at a moments notice and stay there for days on end, has to stay out of contact for that time, and can't explain where he's been or what he's been doing in all that time when he gets back.

20. Part of the reason he accepted Motoko's offer for her to work for him is that he's pragmatic enough to realize that they'll need a black ops team at some point to do a lot of dirty work that most people won't approve of. So long as they're under his command, he can make sure that they're deployed only when it's absolutely necessary.

Some of this is headcannon, inferred from events in her cannon.

1. Alia loves clothes, dispite her fremen up bringing, being in court has spoiled her with lavish dresses and jewelery for to long. She won't admit it, but she loves to dress up.

2. Bitch is bat-shit CRAZY!! Alia suffers from a condition induced by the water of life. While still int he womb her mother took int he water of life, a concentrated form of spice. This caused her to awaken to consciousness while still inside her mother. She had the knowledge of a millenniums worth of her relatives spirits living in her head. They tear her mind apart from the inside to find a place where they can think and feel through her again. The strongest of which is her grandfather, whom she consequently murdered when she was a child, The baron Vladimir HArkonnen. He is a mastermind of political intrigue and also swore the destruction of Alia's family just before his death. He's also a total pedophile and LOVES young boys.

3. Alia uses a bene gesserit trick so that she never ages. She appears younger than she is.

4. She has a very hard time functioning with out a man in her life since her brother died. She feels very alone, and misunderstood with out someone on her side.

5. She is master of 15 blades. shown in this video, she lets loose 15 spinning blades and then defeats then. not even the best swordsmen can do even 12. Her battle prowess is unrivaled, due to her knowledge of a thousand bene gesserit reverend mothers.

6. She can't see the future no matter how hard she tries, though her brother and his offspring, can.

7. among many titles she wears, her enemies call her Coan-Teen. Which means 'Witch who walks with out feet'

8. at 4 years old she slit the throats of many fallen, but alive, enemy soldiers during a huge battle, earning her the name 'Saint Alia of the knife'

9. she can project her thoughts into other peoples minds, so watch out! She can also use The Voice. A BG trick to make people do what you tell them to do. (for full explanation of how this or any other bene gesserit trick works, please ref wikipedia! ^^)

10. alia distrusts, if not despises, her mother. Her only love is for her brother, who she believes is dead.

1. Even though Lex knows he didn't kill his baby brother, he still holds himself responsible for it.

2. He was an awkward, nerdy kid that got picked on a lot.

3. He was terribly shy around girls until he was a senior in high school. Then he started to fill out more, and learned how to style in a three piece suit and Lamborghini.

4. He can play the piano, violin, guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Oddly, he prefers to play classical music on the piano and violin, but will rock out like nobody's business on the guitar and drums.

5. Single Malt scotch became his drink of choice when he was fifteen.

6. He has done most drugs at least once, but never got hooked on any of them.

7. When he was fifteen, he tried wearing a wig. He gave it up after two weeks.

8. Despite hating his father with a passion, he'd defend him against anyone and anything.

9. Lex genuinely does have the crew's best interests at heart. But he knows it'll take a certain caliber of person to help him to figure out the mystery, and part of his being a dick is him forcing said exceptional people to rise to the top.

10. Lex has never had anyone he could trust completely. Everyone he did trust betrayed him at some point. Including Clark Kent.

1. Julian would drop the name 'Hellion' if he could come up with a replacement.

2. He parties. A lot.

3. He has a drives license, but never uses it.

4. He wants to learn how to fly the Blackbird.

5. Any respect he had for the Avengers got lost sometime around the Civil War.

6. He has never been in steady relationship with a girl.

7. He likes rap music, if only for the constant bragging about money and women.

8. He has killed one person, and refuses to ever do it again.

9. He actually has watched Star Trek and Star Wars. He will admit to neither, though.

10. Despite her walking around in her underwear most of the time, Julian did start to think of Emma as a mother figure. So it hurt him like hell when she started to distance herself from him.

2. He treasures his memories of being Robin.

3. He still looks up to Dick, even if he gets on his nerves like A LOT.

4. He thinks Tim is actually a better Robin than he ever was, and he's glad he was able to help Bruce.

5. He actually considers Kyle and Donna his best friends.

6. He's had a crush on Donna since he was Robin.

7. He purposely picks fights with some people, just for the thrill of fighting. And yes he is aware that this makes him just slightly crazy.

8. He doesn't mind being sent to jail. But he will kill himself before anyone ever throws him into an asylum (especially if said asylum is Arkham).

9. He's a cat person, though most cats hate him. He doesn't really understand why.

10. Jason does in fact dye his hair. He doesn't like being a redhead. B|

[Headcannon is a go.. she needs to get back into DC canon B|]

1. Cissie has nightmares about babysitting. As such she doesn't like being alone with kids under the age of twelve.

2. Her favorite colors are red and yellow.

3. Bart's death was the reason she cut her hair. She really had no reason for doing it, but it did make her feel better.

4. If Cassie ever asked her, Cissie would in fact join the Teen Titans.

5. She's not going very good at archery, but gymnastics as well. Her mother insisted on sending her to everything she good. Including dancing classes (jazz, tap, ballet), gymnastics, ice skating, and kick boxing.

6. Though Bonnie and Cissie have gotten along somewhat better, Cissie spends the shortest amount of time possible with her.

7. Cissie's had a crush on all of the boys from Young Justice at one point.

8. She doesn't regret kissing Tim.

9. She has a small tattoo on her foot of a lightning bolt.

10. She's never told anyone, but she is in fact in love with Bart.

How could she not have a crush on this at some point. Boo yah. Check these pecs.

1. She's dated, or kissed several members of the Avengers over the years.

2. She's always wanted to be a mother.

3. She considers Jessica Drew her best friend in the whole world. Tony Stark would be a close second.

4. She saw Captain America as an older brother. His death felt like someone had ripped her heart out of her chest.

5. She lost all faith and trust in Tony when he ran away from his problems.

6. She's always been jealous of Bobbi and Janet, for being able to find men that they could so easily fall in love with. (But didn't feel sorry for them when said romances fell apart)

7. She felt betrayed when Wanda went crazy. She thought of her like a sister, and couldn't believe she was ever capable of doing something so foul.

8. Carol refuses to even go NEAR a drink. She has nightmares about her alcoholic days.

9. She favorite color is blue.

10. She completely loves hot dogs.

1. Paco's not handling the loss of his arm as well as he thinks he is.

2. He's actually pretty smart, but he doesn't learn well in a school environment. He's also pretty intuitive and can generally figure things out, but he can't really explain how he did it or "show his work". He has also never forgiven junior high for taking away his recess.

3. He's dated more than Brenda and Jaime. Combined. And he's still on good terms with all of his ex-girlfriends, and occasionally gets booty-calls and requests that he make an appearance to chase off a newer ex who doesn't understand the whole "broken up" thing.

4. He learned oodles of semi-legal/illegal things from his time with the Posse that he hasn't actually told Jaime about. Jaime, for his part, hasn't asked. This is one of the many reasons why they're best buds.

5. If Paco's fighting for himself, he might surrender. If he's fighting to protect someone else, he will not hesitate to fight to unconsciousness/the death.

6. He's named after his mother's oldest brother, who is a total jerkass and thus loathed by his namesake. He plans to go by "Paco" for the rest of his life.

7. Paco has definitely inherited his mother's tendency to "take in strays", although it usually manifests itself in talking to wallflowers and menacing bullies.

8. He's a self-proclaimed sidekick and actually gets a little offended when people act like he's putting himself down by claiming that title. He doesn't want to be "the hero", he wants to be the goddamned sidekick and get the shit done that needs to get done so that Jaime can do his hero thing. It's more of a three-way partnership than anything else, but he likes "sidekick" better, dammit.

9. His Superhero Crush is Power Girl, because she's blond, boobalicious, takes no shit, and seems like the type of woman who would just be fun as hell to hang out with once befriended.

10. If Paco were to write out his personal code of honor, the words "Don't be a dumbass" would be written at the bottom. Yes, guys don't hit girls, but if a girl is seriously trying to hurt or kill you or someone you're protecting and you can neither restrain her nor have another girl in the area hit her, then you take her ass down as fast as possible and say some Hail Marys for it later.

Seriously, don't be a dumbass.

1. Daimon's "saving himself" for his wedding night. He hasn't been able to resist many temptations and he's very proud of still being a virgin. He does not, however, expect this to last for long. He just hopes he doesn't lose it in a fit of lust on the part of his darksoul.

2. Patsy's the first woman he's been (romantically) in love with. All the other times he has felt affection that he mistook for love (or at least, interest that justified being romantically linked to someone). Patsy is also one of the few women who hasn't thrown herself at his feet. It must be the bad boy thing but women keep flinging themselves at him, even after he's slapped them. (Bad, Daimon!)

3. Before he arrived on the meatship he had professed his love to Patsy Walker, who rejected him. Needing space, he returned to the university he'd taught at prior to joining the Defenders. He hadn't even contacted the university to give them an explanation of why he was gone. When he showed up there he discovered that a demon had taken the guise of Daimon Hellstrom and was living out his life. Worse yet, he was doing a far better job than Daimon had ever done. He had married Saripha, the woman Daimon had been seeing, and they were expecting a child. Daimon was about to send the demon to Hell when Saripha threw herself between them and told begged Daimon to stop. After telling Daimon that the reason she realized someone had taken Daimon's place was because he was warmer and gentler than Daimon had ever been. The demon assumed a different identity and Daimon left. That was the lowest point of his life, one that he worked himself out of when he joined a monastery.

4. His darksoul used to be in complete control over him at night and was kept at bay only by binding his hands together with a bracelet of ankhs given to him by his mother.

5. Daimon's mother went insane upon seeing the true form of her husband, Satan. This hasn't happened for Daimon but in the future, while reuniting Daimon's darksoul with his body in an effort to save his life, Patsy Walker (who had married Daimon by now) went insane after seeing the darksoul in complete control of Daimon's body.

6. Daimon's most treasured possessions are his mother's diary (which burned down with his house), his first Bible, and his bracelet of ankhs. He carries the latter two with him at all times.

7. The birthmark on his chest was originally an upright pentagram but was reversed after his normal soul and darksoul merged. A lot of artists get this confused and draw the pentagram upright, which is why in some icons it's upright instead of reversed.

8. After his mother went insane Daimon and his sister, Satana, were separated. He went to a stable foster family and then enrolled in a parochial school. After he graduated he attended a Jesuit seminary but was never ordained. He left the seminary upon his 21st birthday when he learned he was the son of Satan.

9. Daimon has a love/hate relationship with his sister. Daimon hates Satana and Satana keeps trying to get into his pants.

10. Although he professes to be a traditional Catholic, Daimon picks and chooses which traditions to follow. He has, for instance, dated a witch and is interested in Patsy, who is divorced. He also wears mixed clothing and eats shellfish.

Some of these will be for after the point in canon I've taken Luke from.

001. Luke first got behind the controls of a speeder when he was eight years old.
002. This was also when Luke spent first time in a bacta tank (he got a broken arm and scraped half the skin off his face and right side).
003. Luke sometimes completely missed the target when he used to bullseye womprats in his T-16 back home, but this was a surprisingly rare occurrence; the total number of missed womprats in eight years was 11.
004. When Han said "What do you think, a princess and a guy like me..." and Luke was all "NO. NO NEVER" He was subconsciously having a moment of being overprotective of his sister.
005. Despite that, Luke still did imagine Leia naked.
006. Luke often thinks about all the students who have fallen to the Dark Side and blames himself. It's one of the things that keeps him up at night.
007. Luke thinks Mara is the most beautiful, intelligent, stubborn woman in his or any universe and never wants her to change, because she is a full half of his heart. He still hasn't recovered from her loss fully, and still sometimes turns to talk to her about something only to realize she isn't there.
008. The other half of Luke's heart belongs to his son, and Luke still feels guilty that he wasn't able to be the best parent to Ben.
009. When Luke and Ben left Coruscant after he was exiled, Luke put three things on his beside table: A holoalbum that cycles through images from his wedding day, one of the holos of baby Ben that Winter sent him and Mara during the Vong invasion, and one of the very few images of Padme and Anakin Skywalker together. These are three things that give him hope.
010. Luke will die in his sleep, quietly and surrounded by his family.

1. Most. Resilient. Person. Ever.

2. Loren was infested by a Yeerk for a brief time.

3. She ended up aging several years over a few minutes while she and Elfangor were looking for the Time Matrix.

4. Her father left shortly after returning from the Vietnam War and she was raised by her mother, who she is close to.

5. Loren is really good at softball. I have this image of Loren taking Elfangor (not long after he became a human nothlit) to one of her games for the first time. She's at bat, hits the ball and starts running and Elfangor just checks her out the whole time and thinks "...I like this earth game..."

6. Loren's pretty oblivious to flirting. She only knew that this one guy was crushing on her because her friends told her. In my head, this is also the same guy that she ended up marrying when the Ellimist took Elfangor away and erased her memories of him. Also in my head canon he's total loser but I might be biased because Elfangor ♥

7. Loren's an utterly normal girl put into utterly bizarre situations. This is why she's so awesome.

8. She first met Elfangor when he went to rescue her from the Skrit Na, who'd abducted her. He boarded the vessel only to discover that Loren had rescued herself and had taken the alien's gun and the captor had become the captive.

9. When she brought home "Al Fangor" as a friend she just met (and happened to be going out with despite just meeting him), her friends and mother thought she'd gone crazy. They didn't completely buy the "not from around here" excuse and wonder if he has some kind of mental problem.

10. Loren recognizes that by most standards her family is weird but it doesn't bother her.

11. One of the few things that really bothers her is what was supposed to happen in her future. Although she wishes her universe hadn't been destroyed, she's really grateful that the future doesn't have to happen. She wouldn't want to go back to that.

12. She still has trouble getting used to Elfangor being an experienced war Prince instead of the inexperienced (yet capable and resourceful) Aristh he was when they first met.

13. She's going to have a very loud meltdown when/if she finds out that after the Ellimist pulled him out of time, Elfangor rammed a Yeerk vessel with his ship. It will not be pretty.

14. Loren credits Elfangor with keeping her alive during her first space adventure and minimizes the impact of her own actions (which were awesome).

1. Has an innie, not an outie as far as belly buttons go, thank you.
2. When assembled and operational, the knifesaber she is building shall be the best weapon ever--and she shall favor it over her dual crysknives.
3. Arha is afraid that she will not live past her 41st birthday and that she must die no matter where she is. This thought gives her intensely vivid nightmares.
4. Despite her fears, Arha will still fight for the restoration of her Universe. She quietly hopes that she will be allowed to go with the Jed-Eye elsewhere, though, while still fulfilling her destiny at the end of Leto II's knife.
5. Once when she was very small, she wandered into the Proctor Superior's study without permission and stared at the woman for a full half hour. Beju Mante Mathan stared back and finally told Arha to sit and have tea with her. This was the moment Arha was chosen as a special project.
6. Out of all the training she received, Arha enjoys the art of movement the most. The reason she does so is because she had great difficulty with it in the beginning. It is the one reason Arha is as stubborn as she is when faced with something she a) does not understand or b) is new to her.
7. Arha will always light up in the presence of her Jed-Eye. It is impossible for her not to do so in some respect.
8. The first time Arha crawled into Obi-Wan's bed, she did so without thinking. She has not left since.
9. Arha sleeps like the dead, but once awake, she cannot fall back asleep no matter how hard she tries.
10. If one looks closely, Arha is beginning to prematurely gray.

1. He had a single thing from his home - a rock named River of Light that was Force Sensitive - that he held onto until Obi-Wan's thirteenth birthday. It was then passed onto Anakin.

2. Always picked up 'lesser lifeforms' even as a Padawan which annoyed his Master Dooku to no end.

3. Qui-Gon's only had three Padawan's. His second one fell to greed and power, it took him 9 years for him to take Obi-Wan as his Padawan.

4. Even still it took Obi-Wan attempting to sacrifice his life for the greater good for Qui-Gon to accept that they had a bond that not even some pairs had at the start.

5. Fell in love with a Jedi named Tahl who he saved after she was blinded on a mission.

6. Shortly after they confessed their feelings Tahl was murdered and Qui-Gon nearly fell to the dark side. Only the whisper of her voice stopped him from killing in anger.

7. Speaks several languages of his galaxy fluidly and even taught Obi-Wan one of them so it's like their own secret language.

8. The Star Map room inside the Jedi temple was his favorite room in the entire place.

9. He often sparred with Mace Windu and surprisingly neither one of them could win against the other.

10. Xanatos - his Padawan who fell to the Dark Side - was like a son to him as he was the one who found him and watched over him until he was old enough to be taken as an apprentice. He vowed to never take another Padawan and it took - a training duel, an angry Hutt, a band of pirates, a busted ship, dangerous dragon creatures, a people suffering from the lack of bacta, his old apprentice who turned Sith, missing Obi-Wan with a bomb strapped to his neck, a mine ready to explode and blow the whole planet up and the sacrifice to make Qui-Gon accept his final Padawan.

One set for each! This is, like, entirely headcanon.

For Zelda -

1. Her mother died when she was a baby, from an illness. Zelda has no memory of her, so she doesn't actually MISS her, but she did spend a lot of her childhood wondering what it'd be like to have a mother.

2. She taught herself to read at the age of three.

3. Possibly as a result of this, she always had a vocabulary level at least five years above her actual age.

4. Because of this, even though she spent three and a half years of her adolescence unconscious, she still has a mental age reflective of her chronological age (seventeen), if not a little higher.

5. She despised most of the other little girls she associated with as a child - they were generally pampered shrieky little brats who had no time for either reading and learning, or playing in the garden.

6. She once accidentally dropped a lizard she had found during a huge banquet. It ran up a duchess's leg and made her upend her part of the table (the duchess was a... hefty woman).

7. Impa started teaching her archery when she was six. She's no master archer, but she's pretty good with a bow. She can charge them to use Light Arrows, but won't so long as she and Sheik share a body, because it'll burn his hands.

8. Her prophetic dreams have been occurring for as long as she can remember, but Impa had always urged her to keep silent with them.

9. When she and Impa escaped from the castle, they circled around the ranch then headed for a hidden pass in between Zora River and Kakariko Village. It led to the other entrance of the Shadow Temple, and that's where Impa asked Sheik for his Contract.

10. She had always known that Link would be sent back to his own time - that's why, even though she found him sweet and attractive, she refused to develop feelings for him. Anyway, someone else had caught her eye.
redeyes_andblue: (S - duty: shadow guardian)

[personal profile] redeyes_andblue 2009-12-08 11:32 am (UTC)(link)
For Sheik -

1. Strictly chronologically speaking, even though he's physically and mentally only nineteen, he's a few hundred years old. He's just happened to have spent most of those four-hundred-odd years dead.

2. Consequentially, he's seen a hell of a lot of change, whenever he was brought back - he's seen Kakariko Village, for instance, go from a little Sheikah community along their usual travel routes, to a stable Sheikah town, to a small Hylian village. That last change took place only ten years before he was brought back this time, and he's still not used to the idea of Hylians in Kakariko.

3. When he was younger, he trained as a musician, but instead, he was one of those selected to become a Royal Guardian when he was thirteen (he left a little after his fourteenth birthday - technically it was a great honour, but he resented it for at least a few months).

4. His death at the age of nineteen, in saving the Prince of Hyrule's life, was actually preventable (had the Prince just used the red potion he had in his pack). But it was a clean, relatively non-traumatic death, and he was still fairly lucid even after being run through with a sword, so the Prince found it best for Sheik to be sworn in as a Shadow Guardian instead.

5. His role as a Shadow Guardian means that he can be brought back by members of the Royal Family to serve, in between stints on the River of the Dead. It generally only lasts a few months before the magic decays, but if he's sustained with another's form, like with Zelda, it can be maintained for years. He doesn't know the upper limit of that.

6. 'Sheik' isn't his real name - it's the name given to any Sheikah who's either a) a royal servant (this later changed so that higher-ranked servants, like Impa, could use their own names), or b) Shadow Guardians. Sheik has been both of these, and has no idea what his original name is.

7. Two or so hundred years ago, he had a short, intense affair with the princess he had been brought back to protect. The contract ended and Sheik returned to the River before he found out she had fallen pregnant. The princess miscarried a few months later, which was... probably for the best, as red Sheikah eyes tend to be a dominant trait.

8. As a rule, Shadow Guardians aren't supposed to remember any of their previous lives. But the longer these lives last, the better chance there is of remembering ones that came before it. Having been around for seven years this time, he's started remembering... a good number of these. The only one he has absolutely no recollection of is his first, living flesh-and-blood life.

9. As a result of remembering dying a few dozen times, sometimes quite painfully, he has a few... uh, issues. This mostly manifests in the form of bad nightmares - Zelda is learning how to suppress and soothe these for him, since she'd share them as well.

10. He had always known that Link would be sent back to his own time - despite that and the notable handicap that he won't live to see the end of his quest, he still has feelings for him. Oops.

1. Her world is an MMORPG in another world.

2. She has found both men and women attractive, though she's only tried to pursue a relationship oce.

3. She's actually a very emotional person. She often cares for anyone who seems at all a good person and isn't annoying. She just hides this.

4. If she says she will set you on fire if you don't leave her alone, she WILL do it. Promptly heal you afterwards, but the pain will still be there.

5. She has used a spell that crushes a person slowly and so completely that all of their bodily fluids come out like juicing a giant orange. She used this on someone who was hitting on her persistently and put cat ears on her.

6. She does not really care that much about surviving the journey. She just won't let herself die a stupid death because she's prideful.

7. The marking on her cheek is neither a birth mark nor a tattoo. It's actually a bloodstain from when she fought Moh when he had destroyed her kingdom. Because of the dark fog, she didn't get a good look at him, so she wouldn't recognize him later. She had gotten some of his blood on her and it had stained her skin.

8. She likes fruity drinks.

9. She is actually the one who brought about Largo's death. Largo had defeat Moh and she had healed Largo first. Had she not also healed Moh, Moh would have died and Largo lived.

10. She had healed Moh because she had fallen in love with him when he had pretended to be their ally for a time.

11. While she may complain about Largo's personality, she does actually miss him and had grown to care for him in a weird way.

12. She has been kidnapped by three different cults as they thought she'd be a good virgin sacrifice. They didn't realize she could burn down everything with ease.

13. She's not very good with maps.

14. She's killed a unicorn before, but she won't tell anyone why she did it.

15. Despite her ability to fight and willingness to do so, she is actually a very girly girl inside. She likes to be pampered and spoiled and the finer things in life.

[identity profile] dreamstolights.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
1. She got her superpowers because of an experiment she joined to get money to pay for college.

2. She failed college because she went to classes astrally and her illusions reacted without her consciously knowing it, so when she thought she was doing assignments and tests, she wasn't.

3. The therapist she was sent to for delusions was a minor psychic who told Selene about her powers and taught her how to use them.

4. She is incapable of dreaming. Ever. If her powers are working, she's not dreaming on her own. If she's in a sleep state above or deeper than dreaming, she's normal.

5. She wanted to become a therapist or something along those lines because of her brother. He had trouble with their parents always working and problems at school. He turned to drinking and then died when she was seven. She wanted to prevent that for others.

6. Before Selene was a superhero and after she failed college, she worked in a bar. She did this because she thought to use her powers to help people and basically looked out for the 'problem drinkers' and helped them work through their problems by using their dreams to get them change. Usually with more positive, guilt driven dreams. And then nightmares if that failed.

7. Selene has a scary, scary temper. She is vindictive and she will get revenge on people.

8. She is also emotionally detached. Because she won't let herself to be swayed by dreams, which feels like reality to her, she ends up being detached in reality. She has to make the conscious effort to not let herself be detached in reality too.

9. Three coolest things she's done: Beat down a giant spider in her bar's bathroom with a mix of beating it with a beer mug and putting it to sleep. The time she got a boost from the Potentializer in Nazi alternate universe and caused mass dream alterations ACROSS THE ENTIRE WORLD to reveal the truth about world war too. And the time she blew up the ENTIRE Kanshian invasion fleet by putting the lead shift to sleep since it was a biological living ship and the fleet worked on hivemind and when it went to sleep, everything blew up. (This happened right before she came to Stacy.)

10. She is the reincarnation of Cassandra. The prophetess who was never believed. She does not know this herself. It is also why she was destined to meet Deja Vu/Helen in her time. Helen was also Helen of Troy.

11. She knows her powers can be seen as invasive and questionable. She has made excuses to justify every bad point about them.

12. She will never, ever, ever tell what she sees in other people's dreams unless she has been asked to look for this information and she thinks it's necessary to find out this information or if the information reveals something that will cause mass evil of some sort.

13. She has asked Helen that should she ever go into a coma and there is the chance of something happening to her memory, that if she does not wake within a month, that she is to be killed. Selene knows how angry she can get and she's afraid of what might happen if she isn't able to keep control of herself.

14. She has a button a smiley face button that she got from the Possessions locker. If she wears it and it's smiling, it means it's her. If it's frowning, it means she's possessed. Again.

15. Helen is the person who designed and made her superhero costume.

16. She is one of two Luminaries who actually has a secret identity. Most of the team don't care enough to do so.

17. She fears nothing. Enough nightmares and nothing is scary anymore. She's not stupid or reckless about things, but she's very logical about her concerns.

[identity profile] dreamstolights.livejournal.com 2009-12-09 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
18. She has two unofficial alternate nicknames: Coma Girl and Narcoleptic Girl. Handy Man is usually the only one who gets away with Coma Girl on a regular basis.

19. She once surrendered to the enemy when her body was pulled along to where her astral projection was. She is a squishy and she KNOWS she is a squishy and she knows there's no way she's taking down four supervillains by herself with her body there. Though she did manage to avoid getting sucked into an interdimensional prison through force of will and just got put in the freaky radiation room.

20. If she ever, ever, EVER breaks her moral code of what she is supposed to be like as a superhero and how she uses her powers, she's pretty sure she will go insane. She knows she's not as mentally stable as she appears to others and doesn't believe she will be able to take a serious breach of the code she make to make what she does 'all right' in her mind.

1. He is the first truly sentient shadow. Others are usually instinct and some intelligence, but for the most part, are doomed to follow their masters or those who would send them against their masters.

2. He's become sentient because shadows become stronger with more light. Because Link had a lot of light, he was already a powerful shadow. He became sentient because of this Link's particular closeness with Princess Zelda and her light affected him.

3. He does not actually hate the Link(s) or Princess Zelda. He's resentful because he cared about them deeply, but they never acknowledged him.

4. Vio, the purple Link, was his first true friend.

5. While the light will always weaken him, the light only does constant, burning damage because he believes it will do that.

6. His greatest wish is to be acknowledged. Because of this, Leela has gotten his loyalty as she acknowledged what a good job he did during the zombie invasion.

7. Shadow Link makes his own clothes with his shadow magic.

8. His body works how he believes it to work. It can work exactly like a human's body if he wills it too, or it can become a pure shadow.

9. He loves learning and experiencing new things and has gone out of his way to do so.

10. Deep inside, Shadow Link is a good person. While he may make excuses for why he does good things even though he's supposed to be a not nice guy, he does them because he really does want to help.

1. She still cares about Vlad. Despite knowing it's rather stupid to do so, she still does and has a little sparkle of hope that maybe one day he'll actually care about her and not be a fruit loop.

2. She didn't think so at first, but after leaving Vlad, Dani realized how alike she was to the other clones and viewed them as brothers.

3. She still feels she's at least partly at fault for the other clones deaths. She plans to never tell Danny about two or three for fear that he might blame himself too and didn't want that on his conscience.

4. She avoided visiting Danny as long as she could because she did not want to risk him having her stay and forcing him to reveal his secret to his parents.

5. Dani had lived with Vlad for about a month and helped him work on aspects of the cloning project for the final clone.

6. Oddly enough, she really likes tea.

7. Dani stole a bunch of money from Vlad's Cottage and she lived off that for a while as she looked for someone who'd pay her for work so she didn't have to steal to eat.

8. Dani views stealing and sneaking into places as illegal, but she believes it's all right as long as it's necessary and it's not really going to hurt them if she took a bit of food or took a nap somewhere.

9. She has an exceptional memory. Mostly because she's only a year old and doesn't really have a lot to remember.

10. Dani knows A LOT about biology, genetics, and ectology for her age. Mostly because she had been studying the subjects at any chance she could get while she was on the run in hopes of fixing herself. However, she has not lost interests in these subjects even though she has been fixed.

11. Dani has a very open mind about ghosts. Since she was both human and ghost at birth, she probably has more an affinity with both races than the other two halfas. She's more willing to give a ghost a chance before assuming they might be bad.

12. She has resolved to never lead people to Danny again unless she has absolute proof they're good guys. She will trust them with everything else, but after getting Danny captures by both Vlad and Valerie, she won't risk it again.

13. She wants to be something along the lines of a geneticist when she grows up, since astronaut is really out of the question.

14. She is willing to give anyone a chance to be a good person, even if they've done something bad. Except, perhaps, for people who have hurt those she cares about.

15. She hates dresses. With a passion.

16. While she does not have Danny's knowledge, she has found she learns things he knew faster already faster than normal.

17. The reason she was able to avoid melting for as long as she did without a cure was through pure will alone.

18. Dani has never hated anyone until the pirates who killed Brainiac 5. While she hated what Vlad did, she couldn't manage to hate him. The pirates, however, are the first people she's ever thought deserved to die,

19. Despite her mostly honest nature, Dani can lie when she really wants to and quite well given the circumstance. Vlad taunt her how to keep a straight face and she's kept that knowledge with her.

20. She thinks people are weird when they freak out about things that only society make them freak out about. Like when people flailed to give her the sex talk.

1. Sean did not like the ghetto gangsta talk he did. He does, however, like his ninja name. As McNinja says, they are dorky, and Sean is definitely dorky.

2. Sean goes to a Catholic school. With NUNS as part of the staff. (Surprised me too.)

3. Gordito was his first real friend and was the only person he felt okay about being open with back home.

4. More than anything, Sean wants his parents approval. Sure, he'll say he doesn't act like the geek he is because he doesn't want the grief they'll give him because of his brother, but he really just wants their approval.

5. Sean likes people. He likes being social. He likes having friends. And he desperately wants them. Ninja training and the ebonic persona has kept him from going out and making them.

6. He does not know what his own face looks like.

7. His ninja specialty, the one that was always present and not just in the modern technology age, is disguises. He can disguises as anyone. Thanks to technology, since machines are just his specialty in general, he can even perfect his disguises even more by making machines to mimic even magic. Like freeze spells and electricity.

8. He HAS killed people. He WILL kill people. As nice of a guy he is, he will kill for the success of the mission without batting an eye unless he somehow knows the person and cares about them living.

9. He has a major crush on Brenda. Quite possibly in love with her. However, he downplays it as a small crush because he really wants her to be happy.

10. In his personal opinion, explosions fix everything.

11. He actually thinks it's kind of cool his brother is pursuing his passion to be a doctor, even if it's annoying because of the trouble it caused him pursuing his own dreams.
