The "What does your character think of mine?" Meme!

Simple meme, guys. :D

Post with your characters. Other people can post with theirs and ask what your character thinks of theirs in the game. (Answer OOCly)

This might be useful for all of you doing character lists.

Have fun!

I know it's all in memes, but I wanna know anyway. :|

(And maybe what Lyle would have thought of him if they'd met earlier?)

Lyle can really see strong differences (personality-wise) and strong resemblances (social ability and logic-wise) between B5 and Brainy at the same time. It gives him an automatic fondness for the kid, because he's friendly and reminds Lyle of someone he already cares about. Lyle gets the sense that B5 wants to get to know him, yet that there's also some distance there.

If they'd met earlier, I think Lyle would have understood B5 strongly in some areas (like, say, cutting off parts of himself to use as tools) but been very confused by others (Idolizing Superman?) Otherwise, probably pretty much the same.

SUPERMAN IS THE GREATEST HERO EVER STFU

Brainy's got kind of complicated feelings towards Lyle, which I think is why he's keeping a bit of distance. He definitely likes him - Lyle's smart and friendly, which gives him a lot of points - but there's also a bit of uncertainty and jealousy? Since he first heard about Lyle from his counterpart, and sort of sees him as that Brainy's friend first and foremost. He default assumes that Lyle is ultimately more likely to be loyal to someone he's known for longer. Plus he imagines that his counterpart would likely be a bit annoyed with him spending time with Lyle ("B5! Go make your own friends! Stop following me everywhere!") But he still enjoys spending time with him, so it's a confusing issue for him. XD

He'd understand if it were a crush, Brainies love to crush hopelessly on people who can break them in half. (...and on angry redheads, on the ship.)

Lyle does not understand the idea that he has to pick a Brainy. Different people, you guys. If they fought over him, he'd probably konk their heads together.

It could probably go either way, in all honesty. Socially inept robo-teen fails at identifying his feelings in that regard. Though even if it was something like that, he probably wouldn't act on the feeling, since I can't really see him committing to anything when ultimately the other person has to return to the past and live out their life.

Oh Lyle. You're so oblivious sometimes. XD

Idolizing isn't something Lyle really does himself (though he does admire) and not something Brainy does either. So that's what makes it hard for him to understand. He has never written Mary Sue fanfic. (...of that kind.)

Oblivious to what? Huh?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Brainy doesn't know what you're talking about, he doesn't write fanfic either. It's a training mission. :|

...nothing at all~

Right, and the naked holos are simple anatomy studies.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
YES. << >>

And all the footage of Superman? Keeping an eye on his activities to make sure he doesn't learn anything that may corrupt the timeline.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
What about the Superman robot?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
He built it in his sleep

What about it? Superman has them eventually in his own time, where do you think he got the technology from?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Does it really need to be anatomically correct?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
.....how do you know it is?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-01 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm a spy, I know everything.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
...that's not possible. Spies aren't omniscient.

That's what we want you to think.

And if a cybernetic sentient has sex with a robot, I think that counts as bestiality. Just pointing that out.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
That doesn't change the fact that--

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
What're you suggesting?!

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that we could have hidden cameras and microphones around.

[He can change the subject too.]

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
That's not what I meant and you know it.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
I was just going completely OOC for a joke kidding.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-02 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
[Bitchy-bot doesn't appreciate your jokes on him, Lyle, and is just going to glare at you. Besides, I doubt he's functional anyway.]
