Lyle definitely likes her, and yes, part of that is that she's openly affectionate with Brainy. She also just seems friendly and together, which can't be easy after being on the ship awhile.

Lyle can really see strong differences (personality-wise) and strong resemblances (social ability and logic-wise) between B5 and Brainy at the same time. It gives him an automatic fondness for the kid, because he's friendly and reminds Lyle of someone he already cares about. Lyle gets the sense that B5 wants to get to know him, yet that there's also some distance there.

If they'd met earlier, I think Lyle would have understood B5 strongly in some areas (like, say, cutting off parts of himself to use as tools) but been very confused by others (Idolizing Superman?) Otherwise, probably pretty much the same.

Brainy's got kind of complicated feelings towards Lyle, which I think is why he's keeping a bit of distance. He definitely likes him - Lyle's smart and friendly, which gives him a lot of points - but there's also a bit of uncertainty and jealousy? Since he first heard about Lyle from his counterpart, and sort of sees him as that Brainy's friend first and foremost. He default assumes that Lyle is ultimately more likely to be loyal to someone he's known for longer. Plus he imagines that his counterpart would likely be a bit annoyed with him spending time with Lyle ("B5! Go make your own friends! Stop following me everywhere!") But he still enjoys spending time with him, so it's a confusing issue for him. XD

Lyle does not understand the idea that he has to pick a Brainy. Different people, you guys. If they fought over him, he'd probably konk their heads together.

It could probably go either way, in all honesty. Socially inept robo-teen fails at identifying his feelings in that regard. Though even if it was something like that, he probably wouldn't act on the feeling, since I can't really see him committing to anything when ultimately the other person has to return to the past and live out their life.

Ahava herself seems nice and reasonable (and not prejudiced like so many people.) She's a scientist, and she's relaxed and polite, so Lyle's inclined to like her. Not to mention that she thinks well of the Legion, which makes Lyle puff up with a little pride. Legion <3

Lyle is offput to find out that Brainy's seeing her as a mother figure, though. Although he assumes that's Brainy being Brainy, he's going to be more careful and inquisitive about her to make sure she's not going to hurt him.

Hmmm... aside from stuff mentioned already in her CR post and OOC chats... I think Lyle's probing curiosity amuses her a bit. She'll probably tease him a little about trying to find out everything about her (and he or one of the other Legionnaires should drop in on her sometime to give the 'don't mess with Brainy' talk XD) but it won't really bother her. She'll probably even end up asking a bit about him in return as well, since in some ways she's just as curious.

Otherwise she likes him, not to mention he and the other Legionnaires are the closest thing she has to people from her world, so they get a special place.

Saphie and I have some cute family stuff in mind, so Lyle can get even more weirded out later. XD

Lyle is very fond of Sensor. She's friendly and sensible and makes things effortless on his part. Not to mention she's good friends with Cham and helps keep him happy. That said, he's well aware that there's a sort of missing piece in their relationship. He can't comfort her about the things that bother her very well, and feels that he relies on her to take care of herself and do as she's told without getting anything from him in return. It makes things easy for him, but he wishes he were better at reciprocating somehow.

Jeka is likewise very fond of Lyle. They're not that close, but it's more of a matter of them not sharing the same friendship styles than anything else. He's a joy to work with and for, and his presence makes her self-appointed job of keeping Brainy from reverting to complete misanthropy much easier. She trusts that he's going to continue being self-contained enough that he's not going to add anything to her emotional workload while simultaneously providing her with at least the feeling of direction, and that she deeply appreciates.
