Oh the weather outside is frightful...
The situation: It is dreadfully cold. Think 'ice cave where all those slash fics are set'.
The goal: Keep each other warm tonight!
☀ STEP ONE: Comment with your characters. One comment for each character.
☀ STEP TWO: Other people reply to your characters.
☀ STEP THREE: Both participants are aware that they should/must keep nice and warm. To do that, you need to bundle up nice and closely, however grudgingly. No, killing your threadmate and cuddling the body doesn't count.
☀ STEP FOUR: Keep 'em warm! Hot cocoa, hot coffee, hot tea, hot mustard, or other suitably warming beverages will be provided if you cooperate.
☀ STEP FIVE: Lulz ensue!
((Basically just a winter-themed cuddle meme, with evil ideas from Shae and Col. Add some cuddle urges in the air if your characters won't otherwise cooperate but you want them to.))

"Well, no. I mean yes, its cold and ice and what not, but6 it also had a beauty all its own. The Northern water tribe had actually been able to handle attacks by the fire nation due to its location and their resourcefulness, while the Southern Water tribe was weathered down pretty badly by fire nation attacks. So looking at all of this natural beauty, it reminds me of the North pole all over again."

If it's all the same to ye, though, I'd rather not stick around to take in the view. How much further do ye think it is?
no subject
"Honestly, I don't know. Let's keep going though: its starting to get cold again."
no subject
Katara! Katara! Do ye feel that? There's air coming from somewhere!
no subject
"Yeah, I feel it too!"
She closed her eyes, getting the mental picture of the ice around her and brought her hands towards her chest. It would take chi for this, but Katara WAS getting better. The ice started to shudder, and then fell to water at their feet. Katara exhaled sharply, opening her eyes.
"That way!"

Daylight! That must be the way out. Come on!!

Where they were now, at least, was a bit brighter an quite a sight (http://www.dylancolestudio.com/Matte/Superman/images/LF_047_033_MPsketch_v02.jpg) to see. Katara was sure she had never seen a place like this before although, comically, there was also a sign right outside the lair: The Way Out.
Katara looked at Jamie. "Um, have you ever seen anything like this before?"
no subject
Oh, aye. Very funny.
[It's unclear who he's addressing it to, but he seems to be looking up at the sky at the moment for whatever reason.]
Well, we won't be able to stay out here for long. I wonder if there's anyone living nearby?
no subject
She noticed the sign too, and a look of confusion crossed her eyes. She turned to Jamie.
"I think that might be a trap. Maybe we should look around this place, to see if there's another way out of here? If we got lost there, it might take a REAL long time to get out."
no subject
[He studies the sign, then nods in agreement.]
Aye, you might be right. I'll go check it out. Ye stay here, where it's safe.
no subject
She'd be looking this up when she got out of here, but at the moment they should be concentrated on GETTING out of there. Katara started to look around the mouth entrance, then started to look along the sides.
"It goes on at the right side!" Katara said. "Come on!"
no subject
[He starts to head in that direction, hoping that it is indeed the correct way and not a trap.]
no subject
And right over it, coincidentally, is a sign: the REAL way out.
She looked at Jamie a moment. "Uh, should we take the word of that sign?"
no subject
Look, I don't know about ye, but we've been hunting for a way out for hours now. I say we take the chance.
[Without really waiting for a reply, he heads towards the entrance. Sometimes he's too impulsive for his own good.]

And now they're on the Obs deck, looking at each other, dumbfound.
"Um, were you expecting this to happen?"
no subject
Hey, I wonder...och, no, that'd be daft.

"What's it like?"
no subject
I've not ever been. I was hoping maybe ye had an idea. [Oh well.]
At least we're back here now. Look, I'm going to go try and find something a wee bit warmer in my quarters. I'll see ye later, aye?
no subject
It would make some things easier though, honestly.
"Ok! I'll hopefully see you soon. Good luck with the rangers!"
