Kang actually likes talking with Nanoha, even when they disagree about things. She's smart, and stands up for what she believes in, and he really liked how she interacted with his kids.

Billy has been more of a stabilizing rock for her than he knows. Between losing her brother and seeing how he cared for Renne, Katara knows Billy as one of the most evocative, kind and unique people on the ship. When they became Bonded, he became one step less than actual blood bound brother to her, and she will always be looking out for him.

She will always look after him and care for him, whatever happens.

In the Overlord's books, Astrid is a coy, saucy wench who's a bit of a tease but pretty faithful to her tribe when the chips are down. There's a part of him that's frankly alarmed at the thought of Pram the Oracle being like her her in a thousand years or so. He's more cautious around her than a lot of people, simply because he doesn't know how to manipulate her at all, and he has no idea what she can actually DO.

Kon really really empathizes with Fate. Like, really, really, and honestly he kinda sees other clones as something akin to his "kind," his species, even if they're another species or something.

So he totally is like 100% there in looking out for her, and aside from that, he just likes who she is and thinks she's tremendously strong for being as kind and sweet as she is, given the circumstances.

If he'd actually grown up under Luthor's care and been treated by him the way Fate was treated by Precia, he'd have probably wound up a total, evil nutjob.

Total sister, and a little mother though Katara is actually reserving that for someone else. Nura is more the kind of sister she always hoped she had, energetic and funny and passionate.

She also loves seeing how happy she is with Querl. In the craziness that is Stacy, love is such a hard thing: she loves seeing it come together.

He's mildly terrified of her because of what she is and because the Norse have some really creepy stories and superstitions with the undead, but he also kinda doesn't hate her.

She seems bitter and used to being hated and he tends to empathize a lot with people who feel ostracized. If she gets really mean and crosses a line, he will stick up for himself or just go off and ignore her, but in the meantime, he actually plans to be kinda nice to her, wondering if that could help her feel less hated.

Katara is one of the few friends she has on the ship to date. She helped her sort out a lot of jumbled thoughts, and is one of the few who managed to make her feel at ease. She hope she can help her in anything she can, she considers her a good friend!

Hiccup knows another loner when he sees one, and appreciates his courage under fire and all. If Jamie hadn't kept a cool head through his panic and gotten them free from the aliens, Hiccup would've probably been on the ship or still on the planet when the alien popped and would be dead right now.

He's been trying to reach out to Jamie as best as he can, but isn't quite sure how to break through his shell and still being kinda unsure of himself and having self esteem issues in general, he's not sure if Jamie's just antisocial or not interested in being his friend.

He plans to keep trying, though, and even if they don't hit it off as friends, still wants him to realize he's a friendly acquaintance he can turn to for help or favors or anything he needs. He's not sure if they have the personalities to be friends, since he's having trouble getting to know what Jamie's is, but he does want him to not feel alone or isolated.

Pretty awesome. Vastly intimidating. Also kinda hot.

Sees a potential friend in her and minimally, after seeing some of her work around the ship, a respected fellow craftsman, much more talented than he. He also thinks it took tremendous personal character for her to be kind to Big Zero after her Punishment given how hateful Big Zero is.

Katara... Honestly, Zetta has no idea why he likes hangs out with uh, does whatever it is in the depths of his twisted demonic mind he's doing with Katara. He thought that whole ice thing she did was pretty cool. And she understands enough not to call him on the fact that he's not really that bad a guy not talk up love and friendship a lot. Really, though... he doesn't know why he feels protective of her, and in classic Zetta fashion he solves the problem by ignoring it.
